The experience was really good from walking in the showroom to browse, meeting Graeme Patrick and having a very professional service. No pressure just very informative, listened to my wish list and came up with a perfect car for myself.

A bit disappointed that there was no follow after our purchase to see if all was ok.
No longer appear to get floor mats when you buy a car.
Also caps on the wheel nuts were left in the glove box as there were only eight. Was it too hard to fit another eight ?

I bought my previous car from Bridgend Motor Group. I was involved in a car accident and needed to replace the car for another small reliable one. So contacted the garage to ask if they had anything suitable.

This is the second car I have purchased from this company. Turned up unannounced to be met by Peter who was polite and courteous. I explained what I was looking for and he guided me through the process very efficiently, there was no pressure to buy and no rush in the proceedings. Would highly recommend this company.

If you’ve just bought a car, don’t celebrate too soon make sure you address any issues before your warranty expires. I bought my car in September 2024, and within two months my sensors went off, warning me that the oil pressure was low and there was a fault with the engine. I booked an appointment with Bridgend, but instead of carrying out a proper diagnosis, they simply topped up the oil and told me to drive another 500 miles before coming back.

When I returned, they once again filled the oil without diagnosing the real problem, and by then my warranty had expired. A year later, during an MOT with another mechanic, I was finally told that my oil pump was damaged. Since buying the car, I never touched anything other than the oil Bridgend kept topping up yet they ignored the root cause.

Now I’m left facing a £500–£1,000 repair bill on a supposedly “new” car. It’s clear that Bridgend deliberately delayed dealing with the issue until the warranty expired, leaving me to inherit their problem. To make matters worse, their customer service became downright rude once the warranty was no longer valid.
My advice: if you notice problems with your car before the warranty ends, don’t accept excuses, demand proper repairs or return the car before you’re left footing the bill.

There is no point in giving me an email that doesn’t work to submit my complaint with evidence. I request further investigation into this issue or I will have to raise this matter with the manufacturer and Motor ombudsman as there has been a lot of customer rights violations including misrepresentation of the quality of the car and negligence.
