I just found out Brightpeak shut their doors in 2019. I called Thrivent and inquired and Googled while on hold and found that they closed the company. Now my question is what happen to the monthly premium I was paying?

I picked the 90 day elimation period before my disability policy paid my first payment and the 90 days is already came and passed and still no payment so I'm not sure why your plans premium is based on your elimation period if bright peak just pays when they get ready yet I'm still having to pay my policy premium I guess my next step is seeking legal counsel

A little confusing since I already had an online account with Thrivent Bank and Brightpeak requested that I open an account with no way to indicate that I already had an online account.

Great to work with. No pressure and has great rates. If you're looking for term life insurance you should give them a call 👍

The setup process is kind of cumbersome. A little back and forth otherwise the interest rate is a little low compared to other banks but when you are talking about 1% or less interest at almost every bank it is just how it is.

I opened an account online and tried for 3 days to log in, only getting error messages. It kept sending me to a Together site. I contacted them and they could not help, telling me that the together site was not them, but when I typed in Brightpeak, that was the screen that always came up. After multiple emails I finally just gave up. If I can't even get into the account to finish setting it up, how safe are my funds. I have other online accounts with no issues.

It took a long time to get responses back from my input.

Process was fairly simple. I had an issue with one of the online application questions. The first part of the question was jumbled and unreadable. I was unable to answer the question therefore unable to finalize the application. The issue was resolved and the application process was successfully completed.

In an era of government mandates and corporate greed my wife and I recently opted into a not-for-profit faith-based medical cost-sharing program (saving us upwards of $18,000 a year). Having been shopping for Life Insurance in the open market and appalled at the exorbitant rates for-profit corporations were asking, we prayed that - similar to our health coverage - there might be a not-for-profit faith-based Life Insurance provider we could seek out and viola! brightpeak financial populated our internet search. Having had life insurance in the past I know how daunting and intimidating the approval/acceptance process is...not so with brightpeak. I answered maybe a half-dozen brief questions for a cost "estimate". Encouraged by the estimate I proceeded with an online application. After checking boxes in some non-intimidating questionnaires (yes, there are a series of them) and a visit from a (very cordial) health-care professional (at my jobsite!) I was approved, and...wait for it...it was exactly the price of my estimate! (at more than half of the lowest quote I'd received from the marketplace companies). Though the cost savings is astonishing, the greatest blessing is the trust and confidence we have in dealing with an organization which shares and practices our beliefs.

This is a great christian company. When you put God first you have something very special!

Spent two weeks researching different long term disability companies. Finally I settled on Brightpeek; easy process and the lowest rates. I was impressed by their reviews as well so I thought I would join the club. I hope to never have the need to use disability insurance but at least I have some piece of mind it's there if needed.
