A specialist in British cheeses, if you go down to the shop you will learn a lot from the proprietors, they are knowledgeable and friendly. We tried new and delicious cheeses that are locally produced but every bit as good as Gouda, Raclette, Emmental, etc.
Super knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. The cheese is packaged with care and the selection is really scrumptious. I’ve visited the shop in Whapping Wharf and was impressed by the customer service and the quality of the products they stock. We were so impressed by the cheese that we ordered a Christmas selection and everyone commented that it was the best cheese they’d had! Highly recommend and I’ll be back every time I’m in Bristol!
I've ordered 2 times, once for xmas and once just for myself.
It's pricier than the supermarket but the quality is simply another dimension. Everything they stocked and supplied for xmas large £75 selection kept about 10 people happy for four days (and it was my only ask from the group as gifts become redundant when people just don't greed for things they don't need).
There was enough left for cheese sauces!!
The flavour is so good that beschamel lovers might benefit from this quality, the sauce just gets a ton of flavour from a small amount. I use Creme Fraische (Freeeesch -Randy), and just put the cheese straight in, throw in pasta for the 15 min meal version (do it... also chives)!
Nothing was disliked, everything was eaten. It was well worth the money. The Good Wyfe I love, the name even inspires me to find love. O-o
