Don’t waste your money!
Watch this using a fire stick and iPad, it makes you log in every single time and a lot of the time it just brings you back to a page ‘do you want to log out’ NO I DONT! It’s the most infuriating app user experience ever. Not worth paying anything for. Don’t waste your money

If there was a minus 10 star this is the rating I would give Britbox. It just doesn’t work - who on earth thought it was a good idea to provide a service that means you have to go through a convoluted process to log in every time you want to view Britbox? I use Sky, Netflix, Prime, Apple and BFI player and have never had any problems accessing their excellent services. Britbox really needs to improve immensely if it wishes to continue in this competitive field.
I am really disappointed
I am really disappointed. I have watched BritBox on my Samsung tv for some time but now it no longer works. I contacted BritBox and they were initially helpful but then said that Samsung had stopped supporting BritBox on my 4 year old tv. I then contacted Samsung who told me that my tv was fine but that BritBox’s latest app update was not compatible with my tv. Ie BritBox are to blame for removing access from my tv. Subscription cancelled.

They don't want my subscription! Endless loops of trying to sign in and reset password. Cannot pay using gpay or card. I think trotters incorporated sold them the app. Such a missed opportunity. Awful

Absolutely rubbish don’t waste your money they advertise all these fantastic shows but nothing works it’s always the same message “Can’t play this video please try later” And they charged me for the year up front. When I tried to complain they advise turn the tv on and off. Avoid this channel at all costs complete charlatans the worst TV provider I’ve ever encountered
The Worst Streaming Service Ever
By far the worst, most useless streaming service there is. I really enjoyed them until one of my monthly subscription payments didn't go through. I went to the website to log into my account and update my payment information, but when I clicked on "My Account," the information displayed for about a second and then disappeared, leaving only a blank screen. I went to the home page, followed the prompts to resubscribe, and after I entered my payment information and clicked on "Submit," a message appeared saying that I was already subscribed. I don't have access to any programs. I sent a detailed email to customer service, and received a reply asking me to log out and re-log in to my account, which was ridiculous advice, since I had logged in and out of my account several times with no change. How can a company created by ITV and the BBC be so terrible? Just utter crap.

Used to watch britbox all the time up until last month when nothing works anymore! Uninstalled, reinstalled and still nothing. Customer Services ask me the same questions over and over

Absolutely awful. Could not log in or watch anything for several days. Could not access account to close and was still charged. Avoid this service at all costs.

Britbox on Roku Express works fine
Unlike many reviews here, I have started using Britbox on the Roku Express streaming device and am very pleased with it.
The only initial problem I had was the absence of a "Continue Watching" icon, but a helpful exchange with their website assured me that I would find this function right down at the bottom of all the selections On my third time of watching the same season, this icon magically appeared amongst the various selections, quite near the top of the home page.
Content seems great, no viewing problems whatever so far.
It would appear that the Roku has a different Britbox App to the one other reviewers complain about?

Utter excrement
Just doesn't work. Signed up, taken the money from my account, but trying to connect on any device just prompts to sign up again. And if you do it says you are already subscribed! P1ss-ups and breweries come to mind. Have to contact the credit card company to reverse the transaction i guess. Losers.

Same problems as everyone else
Same problems as everyone else. Good programmes, truly appalling software. We've persevered with this for 15 months but are now going to cancel, once we've finished watching a few of the better series.
The app on our LG has become virtually unusable. It still works reasonably well on the more dated Roku device, but forgets what you've watched and the episode icons are incorrect. However last night Britbox asked us to renew our subscription and checking on a mobile phone we got the same request. Britbox never fails on my mobile but who watches TV on a mobile?
It appears today we hadn't cancelled our subscription after all and everything working as before (except to the LG app obviously).
I thought they might get their act together ... eventually. Clearly not.
Can't play, won't play
Second time I've had to contact the help team because programmes don't play or can't resume. Screen goes blank and then nothing happens?! They seem to won't to says it's my internet or service provider but I've had no issues with netflix, prime, iplayer etc. Have now asked for a refund, will see what happens.
What a pile of s**t
What a pile of s**t, constantly turns off mid program , black screen, freezing and slow, constantly having to log in and out and restart etc... just to get it to work and even then its only when it wants to.
Constant dropouts very annoying
Constant dropouts make this a very frustrating subscription streaming service. Programmes are ok, I like the all UK series, and it is not expensive like Netflix, however may let it go if this does not improve.
