When someone rips me off I always find that following them to their home address and knocking on their door at night very very angry gets my money back, when they call the police, the police say I've broke no law but must leave, so I just come back the next night even more angry, I always seem to get my money back from the manager

Bca need to be looked at by our…

Bca need to be looked at by our government. They are killing the used car dealerships with bumping up bids at there auctions and turn off lights via diagnostic machines. Buy a car with assured reports only to break down on the way home. We purchased 3 nissan quashqai at bca all with grade 3 assured reports only for all 3 have engine management lights to come on on the way back. Bca sent out rac and the rca have told us to return them. Other than 1 which is a catalytic problem which bca have said isn't covered by assured. These guys really are the worst company ro deal with. How this is operation is still going is a joke. The best thing to happen to Bca was covid. Covid is too blame and now bca say they will not return to attended autions is no surprise when they can rip the trade off constantly bumping up prices and selling the crap to us whilst they sell the good stock to there sister company cinch. What hope us there using Bca as a trader? Not alot. I'll be sending my report to the trading standards to look into this. I thought monopoly was illegal here??

Ripped of at BCA

Bought a vehicle with essential check. It said check coolant on the web. I got to collect the car only to find creamy substance dripping from under the car. I opened the bonnet to find no lid lid the expansion tank and a frothy mixture of oil and water all over the engine bay, an obvious major issue that they say would not have been noticed on the check and the car is sold as seen. (Crap blurred images on the website are what they mean as sold as seen)
A robot reading from a card behind a screen sold as seen.
The car came through we buy any car which is listed on the auction as ukcgr, British car auction own this company. I know we buy any car would open the bonnet to value a car with any excuse to knock down the price of purchase, so they would have found the issue.
BCA are hiding behind (ukcgr failed to disclose the issue) what’s would I stand? I have refused to take the car away, I have left all the documents and keys with the customer service guy. The car is still standing in there collection point.

BCA failed in their vehicle condition…

BCA failed in their vehicle condition process, denied liability despite clear photographic evidence and accused me of causing the damage. Customers are treated terribly by a money grabbing morally corrupt organisation.

I agree with everyone who has several…

I agree with everyone who has several negative experiences with Bca who are still ripping their buyers off. Bunch of coward criminals hiding behind screens selling piles of crap. They are continuing with their gangster style formula due to lack of retribution. The law is allowing those gangsters to prosper. Imagine how many accidents caused by dangerous breakdown on motorways as a result of their packaged lies. I was lucky to survive last breakdown on motorway when timing belt snapped 30 minutes after collection. Bca refused to take it back! Why should I be paying 2.5k for a reconditioned engine when I paid top money for it. Why should those CRIMINALS get away with it? Is this how British law protect the crooks at the expense of hard working dealers? Shim Natanyahoo

I think dealers should get together and…

I think dealers should get together and have a firm of solicitors representing them. They are taking advantage of dealers below average intelligence and expanding by the minute at their expense. How can dealers let those criminal crooks get away with selling them piles of scrap at top prices. Look at the liability dealers face when selling a vehicle to members of public. 6 months warranty and sometimes exceeding the value of the vehicle, when customers claim for car rental whilst vehicle being repair, distress, recovery charge, over night hotel stay and taxi fare to go to garage to collect vehicle after repair. Yes I had to pay £2700 repair money plus consequential losses to a customer who purchased a BMW 1 series 11 plate for 4500! Out of 12 cars purchased last month, 3 had major gear box and engine issues. Returned to site but the criminal started charging me storage for refusing to collect them. I have 12 cars with issues sitting in my yard, 3 in the auction that is 15 totalling 95k of dead money. Cowboy style business and surprised trading standards and other government agencies chasing up and punishing dealers firmly and turn a blind eyes on auction houses who make millions weekly. We should have the right to reject any vehicle that has a major undeclared issues within 24 hours of receipt. Dealers should fight to have this right. This is a right not a privilege. We are paying hard earned money to make ends meet. We should not let those criminal mafia to enjoy 5 star life style at our expense. Remember, they are car dealers and should have some obligations to their buyers. They are collecting thousands of vehicles weekly at less than half what they sell them for to us. Fight to remove their right to SOLD AS SEEN. There is not much to be seen online. Time to fight for our rights. We should get a firm of solicitors to represent us and claim every penny we lose from them. Remember, solicitors can claim their fees from them so we do not lose out. Once they know dealers are represented, they will stop messing about.

My company car was due to be exchanged

My company car was due to be exchanged. I received a phone call on the Tuesday night to say they were confirming they would drop my new one the following day. I asked about the old one being taken away. They checked and said someone would pick it up the next day too.
Wednesday morning they came for my old car without dropping my new one. I was told that it was on its way. At 3:45pm I received a phone call to say there had been an error and they couldn’t drop my car. I live in the middle of no where with no other form of transport. I explained this and they didn’t care they said the earliest they could do was Friday and put the phone down.

I phoned LEX who also confirmed it was due that day. I explained I had no car and lived in the middle of nowhere. They said as it was so late in the day there was nothing they could do. At the same time my partner was on the phone to his ex to say we had issues getting their daughter 100 miles to her home. She called social services who threatened to call the police. I relayed this to LEX who suggested I contact my POC at my employer. They would also see what they could do. Between LEX/BCA and my work it was agreed that I would spend whatever I needed to get my stepdaughter home. BCA had confirmed they would cover the cost no matter what and would reimburse me the next day. It cost us £98 to get her home as we had to use taxis and trains. I submitted the costs that night. She was late getting home.

The next day I received a hire car, again I was told that BCA had said they would cover the cost of it as they had sent the driver to the wrong storage facility. I didn’t receive the money back that they had promised. LEX and my work fought to get me that money back and it never happened. LEX ended up giving me the money back and we’re equally as frustrated as we were.

Friday came and the car was delivered. The guy arrived with no transport out of the village. We checked the car over and agreed to take him into town to the train station as there was no other way for 10 miles. As soon as my partner got in the drivers seat he noted a crack in the windscreen. It couldn’t be seen from the outside. The driver agreed it was there and hadn’t been done in our possession. Again we spoke to work and it was promised BCA would cover the cost of the new windscreen.

We are 6 months on and they have yet to cover the costs of any of this. They promise but don’t deliver. They left a little girl anxious because he mother and social services were threatening police would come and take her away. BCA didn’t care. My partner used to be a trade plate driver and was appalled at their lack of service.

Rogue traders who blight people's lives…

Rogue traders who blight people's lives yet trading standards are ignoring our concerns. Having purchased a clean report car upon collection oil was leaking out. Head gasket fully blown.clutch dmf banging. I have lost thousands I had saved for my son's university fees. Shambles of a company trading in UK. You won't get away with it for long I promise.

BCA Bullsh- - Car Auction

Total disgrace of a company robbing Joe Public ‘been a gold card holder over 10 years and this on- line Covid bidding is a deliberate sham to sell unfit for road use cars ?? they should be investigated and shut down
2 taxi’s 3 trains £125 spent to arrive at Blackbushe to collect a Bca essential checked vehicle that had every box ticked green ‘only to find the vehicle had the EML on and in limp mode ‘
It wouldn't even go 15 mph ‘ I
Immediately went back into the office literally within 10 minutes to raise my complaint to customer service manager
I was told in no uncertain terms that i had drove it out the gate and the EML had probably come on and the car was sold as seen ‘ I was astounded how they just lied to me and fobbed me off
I raised my concern at head office and was told the same and the best of all was to come and i was asked if i would like to put the car back in the sale
Seething dumbfounded never ever again will i deal with this shower of shi—company the employes are as bad as the company cretins running it
The indemnity charges are astronomical and what for what do you actually pay for when the cars are supposedly vetted and they are before sale
RIP OFF CRAP COMPANY THAT NEEDS BOYCOTTING

Car Collection Con

Today I had my car collected by BCA, who must have been working on behalf of VW. I leased my car direct with VW.

The person came to check and pick my car up. He did a thorough job which is what you would expect. However when they came to go he mentioned there was a few very minor scratches that he would have to add into his report. Which is fair enough, he said simply sign here which says I have collected your car of which I did. To my surprise within an hour I received a report detailing all the damage which reports 7 scratches which would need repainting costing £770 and that I had agreed with the report. Now this is an utter disgrace, as at no point did the person go through and detail what the issues were and the implications. I feel like I’ve been robbed, not sure how these cowboys can get away with it. Seems like after reading these reviews on trustpilot they are pretty renowned for it. Will never lease from VW again if they use these bandits.

Should I be surprised when all the documents you receive from BCA has the wrong phone number on them?!

worst company to dealt feel like we are…

Worse company to deal with, feel like we are living in the banana republic ages with no rules and no trading standards. They rip off where they can and don't accept debit or credit card payments due to banking fees, so they expect you to transfer at their leisure. Customer services are absolutely rubbish with no means of respect when they liaise and their behaviour is ruthless - always threaten you we will close your account. If you seek legal advise, they should be closed at the moment, for taking so many false bids for the same car which will be for sale the next day again. BCA essential report means nothing apart from light bulbs are present but nothing works, but they charge you £12 and you cant claim; just waste your £12. If we had a choice, we'd never buy from BCA again.

what a pity that bca have decided not to give a toss about its customers, they took over a fantastic auction group in scotland dumped most of the good staff and then covid hit, at this point bca seen nothing but pound signs and for 18 months has brought the motor trade to its knees. i feel sorry for the staff trying to do a job and knowing that work for a company that is basically hated by its customer base.

FALSE BIDDING BCA SHOCKED and OUTRAGED…

FALSE BIDDING BCA SHOCKED and OUTRAGED at what I believe was happening...

Firstly some background about traditional FAKE bidding, some unscrupulous auction (half the bid increment) to reset the end bid back on the real punter. effectiveley this is fraud.

OK so now you understand this scam, what believe I saw at BCA 2021 was FAR WORSE! I then saw the bid click BACK to the WEB BIDDER , yes they clicked the software to get the max bid to re focus on the REAL bidder ... UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!

I should say I have been around cars and auctions all my life, with a family owned garage for half a century.

This guy was not even looking up between fake bids he was BLATANTLY playing the guy on the web and backing it up with FALSE verbal web commentary, as if there was a REAL BIDDER IN THE HALL.
I have to say I was disgusted.

Make this obvious top the auctioneer by tracking the bids and signals he is following, he might NOT bid you against a FAKE "fresh air" buyer.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - FROM SOMEONE WITH INSIDE EXPERT TRADE KNOWLEDGE - DONT DO IT ONLINE -
RIP OFF BRITAIN STRIKES AGAIN :- I HOPE ANY AUCTION HOUSE DOING THIS IS INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUD

I have contacted trading standards and watch dog I hope we will see you soon in the news what a scam and disgusting selling death cars with clean report!!!! Soon on Tv Bca
