They are committing daylight robbery and breaching all rules and regulations but they are answerable to no one.
Terrible service
Terrible service. I think the individuals are good but they're held back but a company that doesn't seem to care. They've beaten my vehicle up and now can't tell me when they can repair it. Is that even legal?
Avoid using them is my advice!
Hi everyone I'm going to tell about my…
Hi everyone I'm going to tell about my experience with bca..and I'd like you reply on here with your thoughts please..I used to be car trader and I used to buy from bca ...so 2 years ago as covid changed all our lives...I was buying from bca online bca as most people know bca don't play it straight and don't care for the customer.. but they took it to another level... anyway I bid on a car when it came to paying for the car I tried to pay for it with a credit card they said no we don't accept credit cards I said I've brought many cars with this type of payment...they said we have stopped this ..I said ok nobody has told me this he's reply was mate it's not our place to tell you it's your place to find it out its out there to find..I said ok where out there he said out there mate...he then says we will put car back through any short comings money wise your going to have to pay the difference...I said not likely so this went on for a few weeks back and forth..
Then I had a call saying car sold I owe nothing...fast forward 2 years to yesterday Saturday 11/06/22 I get a letter from bcas solicitors saying that they are acting for bca that they want £1250 for said car that I never owned.. threatening me with court ccjs black listing me and basically ruin my life etc etc ... surly this can't be right
What's the general feeling??...

What fools buy a van or car from an auction site before seeing it or trying it no pity what's so ever!
Avoid them they are scam they treat…
Avoid them they are scam they treat their customers very bad specially the traders buying Their bad cars, the online auction bidding is complete crap and scam as they get away from not telling the truth about grade, mechanical, and above of that the people work their most of them rude and cheaters and never take responsibility of their employees faults and errors . I had a very bad experience with them week ago ,as I was on live online auction watching a few cars and saddenlly a car appear on my account that I have to pay for it , even without me doing any bids on it , I spoke to the auctioneer online chatting but with no response , spoken to the technical team and then to the bca department where the car located but still no response or good explanation why this happened, then the worse start to come from Thier dodgy employees to force me to pay for the car that I did not bid on it or pay for it and they resale it for you and make double money off you or to pay £500 and they try to resale the car to the highest bidder and if the bidder bid less of what they reached of last bid they force you to pay the defferent and on top of that they force you to pay storage fees and late payment that's of course if you start to challenge them and ask them to invistigat the issue for you and after they do Thier false invistigat they come to you with big bill to pay to include £500 plus £245 late payment and storage fees and on top of that they also ask to top up with payment if the bidding price did not reached the old false bidding that already done by the auctioneer it self . please avoid them they provide very bad customer service and they have no degnity or respect to their customers, I would call them vampires .
!DO NOT BUY OFF THEM!
Total and utter con artists
Total and utter con artists
My BMW was recently collected by BCA. 4 years old and well over 120,000 miles. Guy who picked it up tried to charge me £1000 for a new bonnet because of a few stone chips. Then when he was told to get out, claimed he'd pressed the wrong button and it would "only" cost £120. When I refused this again as they were stone chips he then said the car would need a secondary inspection and it would cost me more as they'd pick up everything.
Obviously the lease company shared my interpretation of wear and tear as I haven't had to pay anything.
Do not deal with BCA - total scam! If they try and pick up another car from me they will be told where to go
FULL OF FALSE BIDDING!
FULL OF FALSE BIDDING!
THE SAME VEHICLES BEING "SOLD" DAY AFTER DAY SO THEY CAN ACHEIVE THE HIGHEST PRICE FOR THEIR WEBUYANYCAR STOCK.
SEEN THIS NUMEROUS TIMES.
AUCTIONEERS WILL BID YOU UP WHEN NO ONE ELSE IS BIDIDNG JUST TO MAKE YOU PAY MORE!
IT IS A WELL KNOWN FACT THEY HAVE GUYS CLEARING FAULT CODES IE ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHTS FROM THE VEHICLES TO GIVE THEM A CLEAN MECHANICAL REPORT!
MILEAGE WARRANTED MEANS NOTHING EITHER!
THEY SELL DEALERS SCRAP, MAKE US PAY SILLY PRICES FOR IT & KEEP ALL THE GOOD STOCK FOR CINCH (THEIR RETAIL PLATFORM)
BCA CAR TRANSPORTER HAS HIT MY PROPERTY
I am writing this review not because of a vehicle I have purchased from one of their auctions, but an incident involving one of their car transporter wagons.
Yesterday (02/03/22) one of their articulated wagons that had made a delivery/collections at Vanstar in Brotherton North Yorkshire, turned around in the residential street that my parents live on, and has hit their perimeter fence, and smashed the concrete pillars holding the fence up, and then drove off. This was heard by my mum.
My father found the damage when he got home, went to Vanstar who then have him the contact details for BCA. My dad has tried several times today to speak to someone. And has not yet been successful.
I have the photos of the damage available should someone like to contact me.
Please respond to this review.
Weve purchased several cars recently
Weve purchased several cars recently. And the condition reports are way off the mark. I’ve tried to email and also spoke to each branch to complain of defects not reported on there grade 2 reports. But apart from automated emails there has been no action to help. It has been 2 weeks now. These cars would be closer to grade 4 than a grade 2. I feel I’m being treated unfairly and I know there are several dealers feel the same way. I feel there using dealers to offload vehicles without proper checks and reports. There using there shear size to fob us off.
When will the CEO of BCA will realise
When will the CEO of BCA will realise . Your company will kill small car traders .with your current practices. Your company is Dishonest to your loyal customers!!!
May I suggest to all traders once you have purchased a vehicle on line ( Do Not Pay Until You Have Inspected the Vehicle. Once Satisfied . Make Payments at Office) . Play at their own Games !! Thanks
Fat Lady sings ....
Theres always an end to sweet music and for your average motortrader it ended when Covid appeared, but for BCA the sweet music started, gone now are the days of attending physical auctions and I doubt they will return soon, money talks and theres plenty of wonga in BCA's purse, why ? Because they've cornered the market with the assistance of the ' grey one' yes, Philip Schofield who every day trumpets the trope we all know so well " We buy any car, ANY car no matter what condition its in" they do this because yjey know they'll make money off every car they buy, either by selling thru Cinch which they own or selling them online, its a WIN Win Win situation for BCA because they can't lose, they have in effect found the Goose that lays golden eggs, its called ' Covid' !!
NOW LISTEN UP PEOPLE !! Forget BCA totally, youre going to have to think of an angle, an angle is a different way to make a living with cars because you'll lose money with BCA .... 'PERIOD' !!! No ifs or buts they've got you ragetty little a**e tied up if you have an account with them, you'd get better odds and make more money at your local casino playing the crap table !
Hopefully some enterpreneur with wedge is going to see an opportunity to make serious money by creating new auction venues for physical buyers, it will happen because ( what goes round comes around) and the sooner the better ! Till then youve just got to ride it out !
More or less Every car that bca selling…
More or less Every car that bca selling at the moment have some kind of issue since they have bought out cinch all the good cars got cinch and the leftovers to bca and a lot of traders are putting rejected and faulty cars in there.

Horrendous company to work for that don’t care about their customer or employees. They allow bullying and do not discard of customers private information securely which is a breach of data protection. Avoid!!
Awful company
Awful company. No customer service.
I bought a ‘grade 2’ BMW for over £17000 and when I went to collect it, it was so dirty I couldn’t inspect it. I took it straight to be valeted. I then discovered it was covered in scratches and dents especially on the roof. 3 dents in each door, deep scratches, dented bumper etc. None of which were on report. I filed a claim within 2 hours of collection and they refused the claim as I had left the site! I sent photos and they were not interested. BCA needs an external body to investigate them. They have a monopoly and are abusing it…
