COMPLETE SCAM- Company bankrupt- AVOID
I have called and called and emailed and nearly two weeks later my order still says ‘processing’. My emails as of today have bounced back. DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER. This comoany has gone bankrupt and they are still taking peoples money/orders but haven’t had the damn decency to tell anyone. I am £215 poorer and will never see that money again. I’m appauled and beyond upset.

Obviously the packer KNEW those items were unusable. I contacted suport showing photos of goods they sent. They do not have the decency to reply. SHAME ON YOU by these actions you are stealing from customers

And then I got an email with the invoice: EUR 24.82 the goods, EUR 13.82 shipping.

Fantastic customer support
The customer service (support) was exceptional. Replies were prompt, clear, informative, and, for once, very well written. A very wide choice of products. The order was processed and delivered as specified. Excellent in every way.

was a great site to get my british food from until they changed hands couldnt even order and when I tried to get in touch no response from them so I gave up and I cannot even get the site on my computer any more so I suspect they have closed down and done a runner when they changed hands

These people are thieves. Placed order over a month ago and nothing! They ignore all contact made to them asking for updates etc. Keep away from this company - they steal your money!!

Goods and customer service non-existent
Order placed 30/07/2023, but the goods have not arrived. I have emailed and called twice to obtain an ETA, but have received no response.
Order not received & no response from BOS
Further to my previous review. I have still not received my order placed on 28 June. It has been stuck at the Chronopost DPD distribution centre in Dijon since 10 July. Dépite every possible method, phone, email, Facebook & Twitter I have been unable to contact them regarding delivery. BOS have ignored all my emails and seem unwilling to rectify the problem or refund me! Avoid this company at all cost! Disgraceful service!!

They get one star because you cannot award 0. I placed an order on the 20th July and received an acknowledgement but since then - nothing. They do not respond to emails, I cannot access my account on their website and 2 days ago the websire became inaccessible. It looks like I can kiss my GBP210 goodbye so I would advise anyone considering to use this company to use someone else or else risk losing your money
FRAUDULENT Site
Please beware this appears to be a fraudulent company, I placed an order weeks ago and have never received anything, none of their contact info receives a response and phone just rings and rings. No ability to get a refund and no hope of a delivery!

Well well well. British Online Supermarket - highly NOT recommend! I'm still waiting for my money back. It's just been 18 months now and 2 months since you said the owners changed and you were to take a look into my claim. Your response - blocking me on Facebook, deleting all of my comments and still not repaying me over 100 pounds for the order you never fulfilled. I want my money back and for anybody interested - I still have copies of message exchanges with the mentioned shop to prove how BAD customer service is on their site.
Slow delivery and import tax
Money was taken right away - after 2 weeks I saw order was still processing so emailed and did get a Customer Service response within 24 hours which makes review 2 stars instead of 1. They said they were "still waiting for a few items to come in". So the business must run on taking orders then fulfilling them from other suppliers - several were actually in the original DHL packing it came to them in and not re packed. Still took another few days to dispatch and then add delivery time so only received products nearly a month after ordering. Order was >200 euros and it came in 2 boxes which cost another 15 euros each massively ramping up the total price. Reading other reviews is seems the customs topic is stated on the website and in the order process so I must have missed it or would not have placed the order. Product selection is ok, which is why I chose them, but would not use again unless really desperate for something specific.
Scam
Placed an order which I was immediately charged to my card. I never received any kind of confirmation or receipt, despite emailing them three times to ask for it. And, before they even dare try to claim as such, no it is not in any of my spam filters.
The only communication I have received from them is a message saying one of the items is not available and would I like a refund or substitute. When I responded saying I couldn’t give them that answer without the original receipt, they still wouldn’t acknowledge this request and I’ve heard nothing else from them.
I’ve since requested a full refund, which they have also not acknowledged, but I’ll be out of pocket on the currency conversions regardless. I’ll have to take it up with my credit card company.
I am now fearing that this company may actually be fraudulent since I see a lot of similar experiences here. Wish I had checked TrustPilot before using them.

If you live in the EU you need to read the Ts&Cs before ordering from this company.
You may have bought from bigger businesses in the UK who look after the post Brexit customs mess for their customers.
Although these people don't bother to point it out other than in the fine print of their TSandCs to they don't do any of that. They shove your stuff in the post and that's their bit done. I ordered some non meat products valued at £57 delivered, according to the British online supermarket invoice, and subsequently got communications from the Spanish customs asking me for all sorts of additional information about the products, which I gave them.
I emailed the British online Supermarket a week ago asking if this was some kind of error and whether they could fix it, but have had no reply.
I'd say don't buy here if you live anywhere where duty may be payable because it looks as though you will be left to deal with all of the paperwork and pick up the tab.
Spanish customs are holding my stuff and having done all the paperwork myself they have now produced a bill for just short of €60 on top what I paid the British Online Supermarket for the product including delivery.
Edit: I am a private individual and not in business in any way. I ordered catering sized English Mustard because I like English Mustard. My delivery came on Tue 3rd January after I had done the Customs paperwork and paid an additional €58.99 in duty and charges.

Placed an order back on November 26th. No correspondence from them until 6th December to let me know that an item was unavailable and I would be refunded for it. I received the refund which kind of restored my faith in them a little bit. I was fearing I was being scammed. I have emailed them twice now trying to find out when the order will be sent but to no avail. Stumbled upon this trustpilot site and noticed many other upset and anxious customers who are experiencing the same thing. All I want is the items I paid for and some emails letting me know the status of the order as promised at checkout.
