Excellent Mentors and Guidance
As a student on the NEBOSH general certificate course I would like to say that Helene Wood and Matthew Peers have been fantastic offering support and guidance along the way. They make you feel comfortable to address concerns and worries and are excellent and knowledgeable mentors. I suffer with exam pressure nerves and can honestly say they have really helped with going over my exam technique and practice offering valuable resources and information as well as taking the time to check mock exam answers both on and off the course via one to ones and group.

I completed my NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety with British Safety Council. The support I received whilst undertaking the course was excellent, the online system was easy to use and I had sufficient time to complete the course alongside my full time job. I would definitely recommend British Safety Council as a training provider.

NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice
I have just completed the NVQ and the support I had been given from my assessor Harry and the Programme Manager Upkaar was exemplary. The qualification appeared to be a bit repetitive in part but with their guidance, I was able to complete the qualification without major issue. There was obvious issues with COVID-19 and not being able to gather evidence but this was met with understanding in that I could take that little bit longer to complete. This has given me the impetus to complete the level 6 qualification and given a new focus on continual study and development.

Level 5 Diploma in OHS Practice
I cannot recommend BSC enough based on my experience of completing my Level 5 diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice. The level of support, in terms of both assessment and administration was excellent: I had a number of setbacks during my course (injury, lockdown and serious IT issues) all of which were addressed quickly, with good grace: this makes a big difference when you're fitting your diploma in around home & work. It is always good to have ones choice of course provider vindicated by good customer service as well as a good product. It has been a pleasure studying with BSC: thank you.

Avoid taking the 'British Safety Council Certificate in Risk Assessment'. Some of the questions asked are not covered in their learning materials. Once completed a technical glitch meant the certificate was not available. The number for customer service does not pick up.
