Steer well clear of this garage..

Steer well clear of this garage...had my car for 3 weeks for warranty work..I had to do the back and forth for the work to be done as the receptionist doesn't have a clue...I was lied to on multiple occasions about submitting invoices it seemed to change times and days...was told that my car needs the timing belt doing and as it turns out my car has a timing chain...funny is that.

Do not use this company to purchase a car
Bought a car from them and have had problems with it since we purchased it
It's been into their garage 8 tines and they still cannot repair it
We have been lied to
They say they have changed items but then told no they just cleaned them
The customer service is disgusting
They never call you back
Avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!

Steer well clear of Brookmans Motor Group..

I paid £8250.00 for a 2014 BMW 4 series, no advisories on new MOT but BMW main dealer and Kwik Fit found 7 items needing repairs including eroded discs with new pads fitted over and track rod end needed replacing. I had to take it to BMW main dealer due to a recall and they found that the Rocker Cover was leaking oil, Brookmans told us to take it 70 miles to a garage they deal with and when the owner of JD Vehicle Repair said he couldn't remove some of the oil that had leaked onto the manifold so there would be some burning oil smoke until it burns away. I believed this and had no reason not to, this was still smoking after Brookmans 3 month warranty had expired but I was sold a years warranty that doesn't cover nothing. I took the car to a garage local to me and it turned out the rocker cover had some tape around one of the pipes and had been bodged!! Because I believed JD Vehicle Repairs about the old oil on manifold I carried on using the car, the garage that's carrying out the repairs now had to take the engine out and found 3 oil leaks, water coolant leaking and both Turbos broke. This is costing me £6000.00, I had to take out a £3000.00 loan and I'm having to pay the other £3000.00 off weekly and the garage carrying out the repairs understandably won't give me the car back until its paid! I have approached Brookmans over and over with emails and I just get blagged. I have made Brookmans aware that they have a duty of care to their customers and let's not forget its not a £500 motor its an £8250.00 car I paid cash for from my Grandma's inheritance and its now costing me £6000.00 to fix within 7 months of the purchase? I'm totally shocked with how I've been treated from the start I've now booked appointment with Citizens Advice and want to take this to Trading standards or small claims court.
I've only had the car for 7 months and it's now been with my local garage for 5 weeks and I don't know when I will get it back depending how long it takes me to raise the funds..
I'm seriously in bits and don't know how I'm going to get to work because I work out in the sticks where thers no public transport.
The garage carrying out the repairs is called Autotrend and they have gone above and beyond to help me and they are trying to let me keep the courtesy car for another week and have already knocked the cost from £7000.00 to £6000.00
But when they take the courtesy car back I won't be able to work and pay the debt off. Steer well clear of Brookmans Motor Group I've never done a review but I'm at a loss and don't know where else to turn to.
I see other reviews and they are the lucky ones but I'm sure there reviews would be different if they was sold a car that's broke down 7 months later.
I have all the WhatsApp messages from Brookmans Motor Group and taken screenshot they took days to respond and made me travel over 250 miles to have the car bodged..

I bought my daughter a 2012 Range Rover…

I bought my daughter a 2012 Range Rover evoque 2.2 manual with a complimentary 6 months warranty for £6500 with 113000 miles from day one it had a water leak which I was told to keep an eye on it if it persists contact warranty wise. then they was a nightmare to get hold of passed from piller to post I had to take my car for an assessment for repair at my cost of £60 warranty wise refused to cover it the assessment also found turbo charger leaking oil and excessive play which they also wouldn’t cover when I was told everything was covered eventually 5months 2 weeks after I bought the car after quoting consumer rights act 2015 that within 6months they are responsible for repair or replacement Brooklands decided to do it at there garage which took 4weeks not out of goodwill I suspect it was the consumer act I quoted but they refused to do turbo. So she still as a car she can’t use as turbo could cause further damage to engine if used so now I am left with a bill of £1540 to replace turbo so do yourself a favour and tread carefully with this firm terrible aftercare service,warranty not worth paper it’s written on once they have your cash that’s it wouldn’t accept credit card only bank transfer obviously because you have more chance of a refund with credit card avoid

Avoid this dealership – very poor experience with consignment and inspection process.

I consigned my Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG to Brooklands Motors Centre, and although the car was sold on 4 July 2025, I still have not received payment despite a written promise from Brooklands to pay me by 21 July.

After the buyer raised a complaint, Brooklands withheld my full payment and proposed deductions for repairs, even though they had inspected and approved the car for sale. I was never told the car had sold until after the buyer took it.

This has been a stressful and disappointing process. I wouldn’t recommend consigning or selling through Brooklands and buyers should also be cautious, as their inspection process appears to have missed key issues.

Fast and friendly

Warning light come on on my van took it into garage was impressed very clean . Peter and his son Peter were straight on to checking van . They found fault. Then i asked them to service and mot van . Very impressed will be back again

Thankyou to the team at brooklands motors Purchased a car yesterday can not thank salim enough for making the process fast and easy to suit are needs. Customer service skills 2nd to none. Would highly recommend we will defiantly be back for out next vehicle.

The best garage / Dealership in Leeds!!

I came here for front brake pads making squeaky sound when braking and had the issue for over a month, Craig dealt with the issue and solved it instantly, the level of knowledge and the great customer service Craig provided is incredible. I will defo recommend this place and will be using this place for future MOT and servicing or any work required.

Massive thank you to Craig and the Brooklands team!

I recently bought a cheaper but still a great car from this dealer and I'm impressed and completely satisfied with my buy which was very fairly priced, in absolutely wonderful condition and overall I'd recommend Brookmans to anyone looking for a hassle free purchase with only quality on offer and ranging from the budget but still good car to the best of most men's dreams and from what I saw their vehicles are also very fairly priced and nothing but quality on offer.
