The most dishonest company to deal with, your shipment is not safe with them, I paid for services which were not provided to crate my TV and the TV got damaged during shipment. They said I had no proof that the crating service was requested even though I showed them their own invoice and proof of payment. I paid for the insurance and they denied the reimbursement. The worse company to deal with ever, pay a little bit more with a professional move and get the peace of mind for your valuables to get delivered to you safe and sound.

Our experience with Brytor International Moving was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
We moved from Idaho to Québec and experienced months of delays, poor communication, damaged belongings, and an exhausting claims process afterward.
The biggest issue throughout the move was communication. Our coordinator, Karol, regularly provided vague, copy-and-paste style responses that rarely answered our direct questions. We would often wait a week or more just to receive generic updates while our belongings remained delayed with no clear timeline.
The delays impacted our family far beyond inconvenience. At the time our belongings were picked up, our daughter was only around 5.5 months old. By the time many of our items finally arrived, she was nearly 11 months old. Because of the excessive delay, she completely outgrew many clothes, baby items, and belongings without ever even getting the chance to use them. As new parents trying to settle into a new country, that was incredibly frustrating and upsetting.
We repeatedly tried to be proactive and cooperative throughout the process. Before pickup, we completed and returned the documentation we believed was required and even followed up asking if anything else was needed. Despite this, after our shipment arrived damaged, we were told the protection coverage we believed we had paid for was never activated due to an additional step that was never clearly communicated to us in any meaningful way.
Our items arrived in unacceptable condition:
* Our mattress arrived filthy and damaged despite purchasing a mattress protection cover beforehand.
* Our solid wood bed frame arrived chipped, gouged, scraped, and cracked in multiple places.
* Even the unloading movers commented on how poor the packing condition was.
After 6 months of delays and damaged furniture, Brytor offered only minimal compensation based on basic carrier liability. Worse, they required us to sign a release agreement and remove our FMCSA complaint and public reviews before any payment would be issued.
We requested an in-person meeting to discuss the matter professionally and were denied.
At the end of this process, we were left feeling ignored, blamed, and pressured into giving up our rights and honest reviews in exchange for compensation.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company:
* thoroughly review every insurance/protection requirement themselves,
* document absolutely everything,
* and keep all communication in writing.
Unfortunately, this was one of the most stressful customer service experiences we have ever dealt with.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my experience with Brytor International Moving, I feel others should be aware before trusting this company with an international relocation.
I contracted Brytor for a door-to-door move from Vancouver, Canada to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The shipment involved my family’s household belongings accumulated over nearly a decade, including furniture, personal items, family memorabilia, children’s belongings, and irreplaceable possessions.
During inland transit in Mexico, I was informed that the truck carrying my shipment had been hijacked by armed individuals and that the cargo was completely lost. Based on this information, I incurred significant expenses replacing essential household items so my family could function in our new home.
Weeks later, part of the shipment was recovered. When delivery finally occurred:
Multiple boxes were missing
Numerous items were damaged
Several boxes had inconsistent or missing labels
Items belonging to other people were delivered with my shipment
What has been most disappointing is Brytor’s handling of the situation afterward. Although I paid additional fees for what was presented as “Protection Plan – Total Loss Only” coverage, Brytor later argued that hijacking was not covered and repeatedly distanced itself from responsibility by redirecting everything to third parties and destination agents.
Communication became increasingly difficult, updates were limited, and accountability was largely avoided. Despite the severity of the incident and the substantial financial and emotional impact on my family, there has been no meaningful resolution or ownership taken by Brytor.
The origin packing crew was professional, and some staff members initially communicated well. However, the overall experience became one of the most stressful and disappointing service experiences I have ever encountered.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Brytor for international moving services. Although the company markets and sells a full door-to-door relocation service, when serious problems occurred, responsibility was repeatedly shifted to third parties and subcontractors rather than being managed directly.
I hired Brytor for my move from Redmond, Washington to Toronto, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. Delivery took almost three months longer than expected, and one of my most valuable items, a PlayStation 5, went missing during transit. When the shipment finally arrived, the box that had contained the PS5 was already open. Brytor’s own claims department confirmed in writing that the box was received already open when it reached their facility, which is very concerning and makes the situation feel highly suspicious.
Before the move, I discussed purchasing the All Risk protection plan with Brytor staff and completed the valued inventory list they requested. Despite that, they later claimed that my insurance was not activated because a different form had not been submitted. At no point did anyone tell me that my coverage would not be valid or that further steps were required.
Communication throughout the move was inconsistent and often confusing. I received conflicting information about where my belongings were and had to keep following up to get any updates. When the items finally arrived, some boxes appeared mishandled, and the missing PS5 issue was never properly resolved. Instead of taking responsibility, Brytor referred me to a subcontractor, which made things even more difficult.
The entire experience has been stressful and disappointing. Based on what happened, especially the fact that one of my boxes was reportedly received open at their facility, I completely lost confidence in how my shipment was handled. I now have to take Brytor to small claims court to seek reimbursement for the missing item.
If you are planning an international move, I strongly recommend choosing another company. Make sure every insurance and coverage detail is confirmed in writing before your belongings are shipped. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend not choosing Brytor International Moving for your move.

unprofessional company from staff to delivery service
It was a very good service.
Friendly and efficient.
Any questions I had were answered quickly.
I would use them again.
Excellent service.
Brytor was the clearing and delivery agent in Montréal for a shipment by sea that I have sent through a shipping company in Dubai to Montreal (personal belongings).
Brytor kept me informed of all steps pertaining to clearing my belongings and having it delivered to my residence, and even kept me informed at moments when there was some administrative hiccups with the shipping company in Dubai.
The delivery man also provided an excellent service and have received my belongings intact. Had a lot of fragile items. Highly recommend this company.
They were on time , fast and efficient , very professional !
Very professional, proactive always on time and looked after the container from Canada to France and cleared customs with no damage
I have moved from Dubai to Alberta recently. I used the service from Priority Relocation agent in Dubai and Brytor to handle the international movement. It was very efficient and adequate communication throughout the process to handle 41 Boxes.
The staff were very supportive and professional; highly skilled in unloading my large volume of boxes including few heavy household items such as Sofa's and Bicycles.
Overall professional service and highly recommended.
I’ve used Brytor 3 times. No need to look elsewhere. Service was excellent each time. Feels like a small company because you always deal with a real human. They’re on time, and the packing crew is professional and kind. Exactly what you need in times of stress
5 star services all the way. Most professional moving service I have ever experienced.
I'm super happy with the professionalism, ease, and customer service of Brytor. They helped pack all the odd-shaped things and made shipping things from Canada to Bali easy. They communicated regularly with shipping updates. Everything went smoothly. I highly recommend them for moving internationally.
These guys were professional and helpful every step of the way, for my move from Nova Scotia to Wales, UK. The packers were polite, clean & tidy & fast! They took care of the paperwork & relieved me of a great deal of stress, as I undertook this journey on my own, after my husband passed.
There were no hiccups & no disasters! The only thing I might mention - as I saw this in a few other reviews when I was deciding who to use, is that there is no 'standard' insurance included. You have to buy insurance from another company, 'maritime transit protection plan' (I think it was called). Which I understand that means if the container goes missing & its a total loss - then you'll be compensated - it doesnt cover 1 item going missing, or 1 item being damaged. So I wanted specific coverage for my antique bed, but the company dealing with that failed to get me any quotes in time before my shipment left Montreal - so its was totally uninsured - which is a little nerve-wracking! But not Brytor's fault. Fortunatlely, everything arrived in perfect condition - thanks to Brytor's excellent packers. I would certainly recommend Brytor for moving household items internationally.
Also a note for potential movers to UK - fill in your TOR!!! (Transfer of Residence form) this means your personal items will not be subject to customs. This is your responsability not your movers!!
The relocation from this company in Canada Brytor, and in Spain AGS was the worst experience of my life. I am not sure and still thinking that this is was a SCAM. I was misguided on many occasions and documents, so I was told, to customs in Spain were submitted by Brytor employee without my consent. She even estimated the value of my shipment and submitted it on my behave without my consent. The last document being Dirigido al actuario de la Aduanav (Addressed to the Customs Actuary) was delayed by a month due to me receiving the wrong information from AGS employee and him being on holiday. There was no one to assist me, finally a family friend a layer formatted the document and it was accepted. I asked on many occasions if I should involve a lawyer in. the process, but was not never given a definite answer.
There are many other details about my move such as in case of delay, the storage would be only 100 Euro a month (and I have emails from Brytor employee on this) at the end, I ended up spending 7500 Euro just to have my personal belongings and my car released. Since my items were already in storage for 2+ months, I had to pay import taxes in Spain on my car which could have been avoided if everything had been done on time.
I have many other issues with both people I worked with on my relocation, if you have any questions, you can contact me directly via DM. I would suggest avoiding both companies, if you are thinking of relocating to Europe. I should have taken the reviews of both companies seriously but I was driven by the relocation price. Their rating is very low and please take them seriously, because they are real. I won't say anymore as I will be taking these companies and individuals to court as soon as I am back in Canada.
Do your research and IGNORE AGS and ims.brytor.ca in your relocation selection.
Thanks for listening.
I was happy using this company, the rates were the best but more importantly the communication was clear, the company was helpful and my things were handled in a satisfactory manner. I was quite nervous about the whole procedure (moving internationally) and anxious about all the things that could go wrong but they were there all along, answering any questions and providing necessary support and all went well.

Do not use Brytor. We’ve had an abysmal experience with them moving from Vancouver Island to Durban. The promised delivery date has been delayed by 6 weeks, the communication and service has been atrocious. Avoid at all costs.

We used Brytor International again to move our belongings from Alberta to Scotland. We have moved internationally many times before and packed our own things without problems. However, many of our professional boxes marked "fragile" were crushed and some fragile items were broken. Also, not all of our load actually arrived and, yes it took us a while to identify which packages, but 6.5 per cent of our load never made it to us at all. Brytor International were notified when we could identify the missing items but didn't seem inclined to investigate. We will not use Brytor International again.
We are disappointed but not surprised by Brytor's response. We entrusted our items, many of which had been in our family for generations to their care. Brytor broke that trust forever. BUYER BEWARE.
It's 2026 and another year has gone by with no sign of the rest of our shipment. It's not about the value.
