Had an appointment for 2.30 - 5.00pm, waited in but then received a phone call to say they were not coming but would come 2 days later. I declined the offer and made a mental note to avoid them in the future.
Absolute rubbish - and NOT cheap.
Left £145 out of pocket after they refused reimbursement for services not delivered
Ordered a new oven through them and paid £145 for deinstalling and recycling the old one and installing the new one. They then refused to deinstall the old oven for 'safety reasons' as the fuse box was not lockable (even though this requirement is not mentioned anywhere). Naturally, this meant also the new oven could not be installed. They also raised a point of the oven needing a specific type of fuse, which again they did not tell me in advance. The courier himself highlighted that this was a very specific and new requirement of some appliances- obviously a layperson would not know about this. Courier suggested I should accept delivery only of the new oven and then get reimbursed for the recycling & installation fees. Up to this date, BSH has been refusing to approve the reimbursement, claiming I was in breach of their T&Cs, even though the need for a lockable fuse box is not mentioned anywhere. They claim the courier attended in vain for the installation, when in reality they had to attend anyway for the delivery. Our local electrician deinstalled the old oven and installed the new one quickly and without issues (and for much less than what BSH charged me for NOT installing the oven).
Totally useless company
Totally useless company, though with some good employees. We ordered a dishwasher with installation and collection of the old machine. The dishwasher was delivered as promised, but the company failed to send an engineer so the old one couldn’t be removed, nor could the new one be installed. BSH offered to refund the installation fee, or to allow us to return the machine for a full refund, as they were unable to send an engineer. We opted for a full refund. PCG, the arm of the company that handles delivery, only received the request for return/collection five days later, and gave us a collection date ten days away, with the result that we will have a useless new machine sitting in our front room for a fortnight — meanwhile John Lewis has supplied and installed the same machine within days, at the same price, and offered better service and guarantees. My mistake in the first place, then. Avoid BSH — though I would be remiss in not noting that a) their customer service team is very efficient and friendly (apparently they have a lot of practice), and their engineers (called out to fix our old machine) are knowledgeable, easy to work with, and reliable.
One of the worst oven
At the Magnolias Waterfront condo, Bangkok Thailand, The highest building in Thailand and it is one of the most luxury condominium in Thailand.
The built-in microwave oven from Siemens/Bosch broke down after just 2 years of use.
First technician visit cost: 1,330 THB
They assessed the issue, said parts needed to be ordered from abroad, which would take nearly a month. I transferred a second payment of around 12,xxx THB.
After waiting over a month, the technician finally came to replace the parts — and then informed me that another component was also broken, asking for an additional 1x,xxx THB (third payment).
The oven itself costs 29,000 THB. If I wanted to buy a new one, I could.
The technician service is poor — they can’t confirm exact service dates, their diagnostics are inaccurate, and the part import process wastes a lot of time. The service quality doesn’t match the premium pricing.
If you're considering a Siemens/Bosch microwave oven, do yourself a favor and stay far away.
siemens cancelled appointment for another 2 weeks
Been waiting for siemens to come fix my fridge for 2 weeks only to find out this morning (which I deliberately had prepared for) that the guy called in sick and now it was rescheduled for another 2 weeks.
this is unacceptable. especially in the summer. i get that someone could be sick, or not available, but you MUST send another person instead of rescheduling the dates. i was at home waiting. this is irresponsible and I demand answers. My freezer is ruined!
update: they supported me in offering an earlier date than the changed version, got my freezer somewhat fixed now.

Bought a fridge
Bought a fridge. Delivery guy said 'we don't do installations' (I paid for it ...), was just lazy and didn't want to work "but please sign, I have other customers'.
Asked my money back for the installation (and instructions I never got). Obviously the helpdesk started ghosting me afterwards.
Never again.
Left doing their job for them
Ordered a ceramic hob directly from BSH and soon learnt that they use a company called ProductCare as their delivery partner. Despite having paid for installation, the delivery confirmation from ProductCare only included recycling and not installation. I then called both companies every day up until delivery day to make sure this was fixed but ProductCare didn’t take my word for it and kept saying BSH should contact them directly to let them know. After being passed around on the phone by both companies, on delivery day I was left waiting at home hoping for delivery plus installation, only to be advised to reject the delivery in case that the whole job would be considered complete as they wouldn’t do the installation without it being written in the job. It’d taken me even more calls to eventually get this resolved…
Avoid this company like the Plague
Avoid this company like the Plague! Go to the Bosch Repair Service/Bosch UK for spare parts and they use BSH Home Appliance to sell these in UK.
I ordered a replacement fridge door seal for my Bosch Fridge Freezer, quoting the correct E:Nr number. My daughter, a Chartered Engineer, removed the old seal and fitted the new one. The door wouldn't close at all!
I contacted the supplier, BSH Home Appliances Ltd. They said to return the faulty seal but refused to pay for its return. The package is ~100cm x 150cm x 10cm, can't be sent by Royal Mail, and by a carrier would cost double the price of the new seal!
I replied quoting UK Customer Rights Act to no avail. I then got a response from their Social Media Advisor in response to a survey they had sent me and I had answered. I once again explained the issue, and the law.
Today I got a reply offering "as a matter of goodwill" to send me a replacement seal, but only if I got the faulty seal refitted and sent them photos of it, and the door not closing properly. I must therefore assume they think I'm lying. Nor have they offered to pick up the faulty seal so presumably I am expected to dispose of it myself, which means getting it taken to the local tip.
Bosch Spares customer service is appalling.
Brand new induction cooktop defective from the start
Purchased a Siemens iQ700 induction cooktop. The appliance was defective from the start with burners on the left side not working from day 1. The error code clearly indicated a problem with the PC Board. The technician comes by a week later, only to confirm that the PC Board is defective and orders a new one which will arrive only 10 days later. I request that the appliance be replaced, however, I am told that there will be 4 attempts to repair it and only then will the appliance be replaced. This is a brand new appliance that has never worked.
The new PC Board arrives, the technician replaces it and now the stove displays an error code F on the same problematic left side burners. The technician denies that there is a fault and claims that the appliance is "calibrating" and promptly leaves. I have scheduled yet another appointment with increasing frustration and disappointment in this utter lack of customer service.
Initial frustration fixed by good customer service in the end
I recently bought an oven through this company as I got a discount through work. Initially I believed we had an issue with the installation process but by pushing I was able to get more information and a good resolution. While I wish communication had been better initially, and throughout the installation process, the final email and investigation was exceedingly helpful.

Booked an install and got in touch IMMEDIATELY when I booked it to check the installer could actually fit it. The installation company they use refuses to drill any holes or actually fit the dishwasher unless it’s just connecting it to a open pipe and using a jubilee clip to tighten
Normally they’d drill a hole and supply a y connector and all is good -
This wouldn’t be an issue if they just be up front and say sorry and refund the installation charge.
The problem I’m having is that at the point of ordering and also within their terms and conditions at no point states the capabilities of the installer or what they will or will not do. The only exclusion stated is that they will not remove a door which isn’t applicable here and they’re wrongly denying me a refund based on this. Both Bosch and the delivery website which only learned after they submitted the order to them DO NOT state what they can and cannot do in an install. Bosch have been rude in this case
Absolutely atrocious
Absolutely atrocious. In all possible dimensions. Simply unbelievably bad. But if you have a NEFF appliance you have no choice.
Poor customer management...
I bought appliances for over 35,000 SEK and thought I would be eligible for their cashback promotion. Well – thanks to some fine print in the rules, they decided that I did not qualify. Two months after the purchase.
Not swift, not with a customer-oriented tone, not with any sense of how to keep the customer happy. Just:
“Jag fick svar från våra CashBack avdelning.
Dem accepterade inte.”
You had to buy everything from one place. I argued that I had to buy from two places due to limited stock at one supplier.
Next time, I’ll buy from a different brand—one that actually appreciates customer loyalty.
Avoid if your appliance is old
BSH offer to try to repair Bosch, Siemens and Neff appliances. They make clear that, if the appliance cannot be repaired, the customer will pay the £119 call-out fee and be offered £50 cashback on a new appliance. Fair enough. When the engineer visited my home, he made clear that he carried no spare parts: so the visit would be diagnostic only. When he arrived, he quickly concluded that, given the age (20 years) of my washing machine, any repair would be costly and perhaps impossible. I feel that this information should have been given to me at the outset: it was a waste of time & money to have the engineer visit. I would not recommend BSH for repairs unless your appliance is relatively new.
Poor service
From requesting an engineer's visit, it took 6 weeks, two cancelled (both just the day before) engineer's visits and two actual visits to resolve a problem with the oven. The engineer who finally resolved the issue was very good but six weeks is far far too long. I would have expected a much better response from a company working for NEFF ovens.
Absolutely horrible customer service in…
Absolutely horrible customer service in their returns department! If I could give them a negative rating I would. I wasted 4 phone calls and 2 hours on hold trying to return the incorrect water filters that were ordered based on information supplied by Ferguson Bath, the local Thermidor dealer.
Rude and ineffective customer service reps, one of whom disconnected my call after keeping me on hold for 10 minutes after I was initially on hold for 20 minutes after placing the call!!!. How can you disconnect customers when your job is to answer the phone!?!?
It is totally unacceptable that it takes them 45 minutes to answer a phone call and then they are unable to resolve the matter or provide a prompt return RMA.
I will never use them for a spare parts again, unless they are the absolute last provider.
Strongly recommend you avoid them at all costs.

One engineer didn’t put all the screws back in the tumble dryer so I asked the company never to send him again .
Took no notice engineer turned up today and apparently the drum wasn’t turning ( office staff are useless at taking the report as that report that he wrote today was for the previous job.)
Turned up Christmas Eve without the parts after I had already waited 3 weeks for the job .

Catastrophic
Catastrophic: the technician came to my property on 27 December 2024 WITHOUT THE PART, while those bozos had confirmed that they had received the NEFF hob top from Germany. So I wasted my whole morning for those pricks & my hob top is STILL not changed, after months of trying. Run away from BSH Home Appliances, they are a nuisance.
