Engineer redeemed himself
After initially giving a very bad review on the automatic survey sent after a visit to repair my Neff oven, the engineer redeemed himself by contacting me today after he saw the survey I posted 2 days ago.
I had been left with a new issue which he quickly sorted so my oven is now working.
Appalling Service
I have a 6 year old Siemens washer/dryer which hasn’t given me any problems until early March when the drying facility stopped heating. I have subsequently had three engineer visits to resolve the problem. After the third visit, I put a washing load into the machine, turned it on and it promptly flooded the kitchen - a new fault. I phoned BSH who said they couldn’t send an engineer out until next Monday (it is Wednesday today). I pointed out that I am wheelchair bound, live alone and this is a huge problem for me. The person at the call centre suggested I call out a local engineer but didn’t have an answer when I asked who would pay for that repair. I was then put through to the Resolution Centre and the person I spoke to there was unhelpful and offhanded. You really should do better BSH.
BSH you are a ZERO ZERO ZERO STAR
BSH you are a ZERO ZERO ZERO STAR - BSH Managing Director, get out of bed and get into action - or are you having a laugh. Germany stop your export of rubbish/ dangerous ovens to the UK and stop telling lies and using your employees as a telephone defence line, Employees of BSH, your job is de-moralizing having to lie and fob people off. BSH RECOMPENSATE UK customers for defective short life kitchen appliances. RECALL your defective short-life warming drawers and ovens you are well aware of the hundreds of complaints from UK customers who have spent £000's on your expensive and deceptive brand.
UK trading Standards where are you?
** BSH don't bother with one of your standard ineffective laughable replys/ fob offs to this post - if you have nothing else to do then yeah reply and we'll all have another laugh.
If there was an option for 0 stars...
If there was an option for 0 starts, that's what I would have gone with. Completely appalling customer service from the engineer who attended site. The first issue we had with the fridge/freezer was completely legitimate, however the second issue only began immediately after the first issue was fixed! Coincidence, perhaps...but it's doubtful. Wouldn't trust this company at all. Shady engineers always trying to up sell on new problems that didn't exist before!!!
Mist
They broke my oven and my washer! Brand new appliances were wrecked by uneducated people and I can’t get any help at all. Washer has been in repair 8 times. The repair people say nothing is wrong even with videos and fotos. Same for the oven being in repair 3 times when it’s less then a year old. I was attacked in my home by a fat geek. Thank god cameras seen him cut his cloths. He told the police I did it. The dishwasher was broken and had to be fix by a privat party due to life threatening failures. The video wasn’t excepted by Siemens with the failure. Siemens won’t help us after a video was made of a worker admitting that Siemens was at fault and now we’re forced to take a lawyer!?!?! I suggest you all do the same and always record the repair people. This is truly insane and I am livid. I know it’s hard but always record the repair people and sue if you can. Times to put these animals down once and for all!!!!!
Lying to customers and charging when they say they won't
I called about my broken dishwasher for advice on a fault code. I was told that it was still under warranty. I questioned this as I moved into the property 18 prior to this so it wasn't my purchase and I didn't know when it was bought. I was reassured that I had 2 years warranty from the date I moved in. Again, I was very surprised and said I'd never heard of that before. The agent was very friendly and agreed it was a good service. I should have trusted my gut as after they came to fix the machine, they gave me a bill of £122. I explained that I'd been told it was under warranty and at no point given a cost for a repair (I wouldn't have agreed to the repair and put the money towards a newer model) and now they're saying I have to pay. It's obviously a massive scam to get you to pay for a repair that you wouldn't have had. To top it off, it worked twice after the repair and now won't work again. I'm very frustrated that I trusted this company who obviously use shady business practices to fool people.
Very bad Gaggenau customer service with…
Very bad Gaggenau customer service with an arrogant and unpleasant engineer.
Stay away from them!!!
We waited 2 weeks to fix the dishwasher, but the engineer left without entering the flat.
Really poor customer service...way below German standards
I would give 4 stars for the engineers and 1 star for customer service. The lies, lame excuses on needs to be ordered in Germany etc. really made me think how low the UK after sales service has become with this top notch German company.
My dish washer was a construction site for about 2 months, 7 engineer visits, countless delays with customer service agents. Only 2 customer service agents were more honest and explained the 2-4 weeks delays. Where as managers (especially one) were just telling stories after stories and excuses after excuses and making you feel like the last idiot. Shame on you!
However, what I learned was that many UK customers find lame excuses to have an engineer come over despite there is nothing broken with their appliances - just to "service" them before the festive days to ensure their appliances work. Again shame on you UK customers!!!!
This makes us honest customers with broken appliances wait longer.
All in all this was a really bad experience with BSH. Their engineers even broke my hardwood floor the last day - however, the machine works now....
Also, I did not appreciate the comment that I should just change my appliance - especially given all the waste, planet, environmental issues we are all currently facing. I cannot believe that such a worldly company still suggests to just throw away a younger, high end appliance - and I don't believe this is in the German mother company's interest either.
Dangerous lack of COVID protocol
Worst customer service EVER! If 0 stars was possible, this is the review I’d leave. After 4 weeks wait for an engineer, he refused a doorstep temperature check saying he had a problem with it & wasn’t having a pistol pointed at his head. Country in lockdown, hundreds dying daily but safety clearly doesn’t apply to your engineers. After 20 minutes on hold to report the complaint, a manager ‘couldn’t be found’ and an engineer couldn’t be rebooked!!! Disgraceful behaviour to customers
Awful customer service and terrible…
Awful customer service and terrible reply to complaint. Cowboy company
Bad Customer Service
Fixed dishwasher so great. I paid on the day and have since had 3x letters threatening to take me to court for none payment. I've called 3x without getting any engagement. I'm currently in a queue to try again! No ownership and bad customer service - don't use this company.
Exploding Gaggenau Oven
Our oven broke down during lockdown .We bought our oven in good faith- believing their sale pitch- they were meant to be the best on the market as a product ,for service and durability. They are not cheap ovens!
What they don’t tell you is that the life span of their ovens is only 10 years -after that the parts are no longer available , they are irreparable !
I’ve had to call out engineers numerous times over the years but never like this - my oven EXPLODED billowing out black smoke ,toxic fumes and smell into the kitchen . The engineer diagnosed the explosion of the PC board (photographic evidence available ) setting alight the oven internally.
Customer care said they do not make the parts anymore . Why don’t they tell you this before purchase? Surely it’s dishonest to sell a product with a so called ‘reputable’ name that it has a short life span . An oven at this price is not meant to be a ‘throw away ‘ surely . Hand on heart I would not have bought it had I known it only had life span of 10 years. In short an irreparable oven !
Very happy with the service in UK
Their engineer has attended my Siemens dishwasher repair in the UK – very professional, friendly and efficient. Plus provided me with practical advice on how to maintain the machine.
It was very easy to book online for appointment in just 2 days, their phone support was very knowledgeable when I had additional questions, and the engineer phoned before arrival.
Very happy with the service!
Like a goldfish talking to a tractor
Rather infuriating experience...
Initially engineer misdiagnosed a noisy fan. I challenged the diagnosis and a second engineer was sent who agreed with me 1st engineer was wrong.
To be fair to BSH, after much fighting they waived call out charge and remedied with correct repair. But took blood sweat and tears and almost put me in an early grave getting there. Shouldn't be up to the punters to diagnose faults...
For those with a set of star drives and a bit of a brain, exploded diagrams of.ovens available on line as are parts. If you want something doing, do it yourself...
I am writing with reference to BSH UK…/GAGGENAU SERVICE
I am writing with reference to BSH UK with respect to GAGGENAU one of the companies they hold. My experience with BSH GAGGENAU HAS BEEN APPALLING. All my equipment is Gaggenau in my kitchen. I have a fridge/freezer ice and water dispenser. The fridge is 10.5 years old. There was a leak form the 2 way solenoid Valve which is easy to replace as I understand it is the same part used by Maytag and other makes. However, having made an appointment on a Monday I returned on Thursday to find a curt unfriendly message on my home telephone answering machine cancelling my appointment because they no longer have spare parts. I tried to get someone in Germany to no avail. Rang Gaggenau they said they would send someone to suit me in the day. This did not happen as the very kind gentleman who came and diagnosed the problem had an all day time. He rand Gaggenau to request the spare part which they informed him was no longer available. I had to leave him to it as had to be somewhere else. Then gaggenau who had not left or sent me a invoice for £99 sent a demanding letter saying I hadn't paid. They took 20 minutes on the phone to find the invoice. I have, a week later had someone else in which too 10 minutes to fit the 2 way valve needed to allow the fridge to produce water and ice. I BELIEVE THAT PRODUCTS SHOULD BE USED FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. THE FRIDGE FREEZER WORKS VERY WELL AND ONLY THE VALVE NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. GAGGENAU WASHED THEIR HANDS OF REPLACING THIS PART. I find it difficult to understand how a company allows their products to be represented in this way especially as we as a world are trying to become more conscious about the enviroment. Should I throw the fridge away because they stopped spare parts for it? There must be some responsibility. They were unable to answer this question. So DO NOT BUY GAGGENAU. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER MAKES. THE LEVEL OF SERVICE IS APPALLING AND UNPLEASANT ESPECIALLY AS THEY DEMAND LARGE PRICES FOR THEIR APPLIANCES.
Very good
Very good. I dont know why you give only one star. In Holland they did repair my Siemens espresso machine. They did a very good job with good handling and within a week. Hoop they will do that too in your countries!
