Another One Star...

Ordered a pair of Slingback Sandals (Clarks) - as this was the only site I could get the colour I wanted. In under 2 weeks (not bad considering they were coming from China), they arrived, with no customs charge. I did notice the charge on my credit card (billed to Mante Tech in Beijing) was for about a pound more than it was supposed to be. All ok-ish, until I realised i had been sent some cheaply made fake Louis Vuitton sandals which were completely different. Have just emailed them. Let's see whether they sort it out ....although having now read the reviews on here I'm not holding my breath! Also - (wish I'd noticed this earlier) when you go into the 'returns' part of their site, it's non-existent.

Scam

I ordered some boots from this site recently and according to my statement the money went to somewhere in China. It appears it's not a UK site at all and is running some sort of scam.

I was eventually sent cheap rubber workboots which leads me to believe it's some variation on the 'shower cap scam'. This is where they send some tat, buy time with the confusion and / or demand a very expensive return for a refund.

All the numbers and emails on the site are duds and my bank is investigating.

Avoid.

Beware

Purchased safety shoes for work from this seemingly UK seller. Received different shoes, different size about ten days later. Parcel came from China. Digging deeper I used contacts in China to contact the seller. My contacts used the phone number and address on the parcel. The phone number was not recognised and the address was a hotel room. No chance of obtaining my money back, emails have gone unanswered. It is likely the shoes are not genuine either as I compared the ones received to ones in a UK shop and they were not only different in design but had huge differnces in quality. Buy at your own risk.
