Window and door fitting done well

The experience of getting new windows and doors is quite daunting, so it was a relief that Burbage Custom Windows made the process so easy.
They advised on what would work, and provided a competitive quote. Paul came to measure up and it was him and Cameron that did the installation a few weeks later. They were excellent, a real credit to the company and worked hard to get the job completed to a very high standard.
We are really pleased with the windows we had and when we need more we'll definitely give them a call.

Excellent

The whole process of buying a new door was excellent. Good price, good communication, polite sales man and engineers. The new door looks great and the quality is excellent.

Extremely Disappointed with Burbage Custom Windows - Poor Quality and Negligible Customer Support

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Burbage Custom Windows for the installation of triple glazing in my home, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, the process was riddled with problems and the company's lack of accountability is truly infuriating.

First and foremost, the most glaring issue lies with the glass itself. Upon inspection by a third-party glass specialist, it was confirmed that there are numerous imperfections in the glass. These flaws were not minor cosmetic blemishes, but significant defects that affect the aesthetics of the windows. Despite acknowledging these problems, Burbage Custom Windows has outright refused to address or resolve the issue, leaving me stuck with subpar triple glazing.

To add insult to injury, the after-sales and customer support provided by Burbage Custom Windows is abysmal. While the salesperson who initially dealt with us was extremely nice and convincing, their effectiveness ended there. As soon as the installation was completed and the issues emerged, the company conveniently disappeared. Adam, supposedly a representative from Burbage Custom Windows, consistently fobs us off and provides no real assistance or solutions. It is clear that their sole focus is on making the sale, with no regard for the satisfaction and well-being of their customers.

Furthermore, the installers sent by Burbage Custom Windows displayed a complete lack of professionalism and regard for scheduling. They arrived at the wrong time or even on the wrong day, causing unnecessary disruptions and inconveniences. This disregard for punctuality and customer convenience further showcases the company's incompetence and lack of commitment to their clients.

Overall, my experience with Burbage Custom Windows has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their installation of triple glazing has left me with glass that contains significant imperfections, and despite their acknowledgment of the issue, they have refused to take any responsibility or provide a satisfactory resolution. The pleasant salesperson was merely a facade for their true lack of concern for customer satisfaction. I strongly advise against using Burbage Custom Windows if you value quality, professionalism, and reliable customer support.

Disingenuous

We had a sliding patio door fitted by Burbage Custom Windows on 17 January 2023 to an old garage now used as a workshop. They rang the week prior to arrange a PM fitting. Imagine our surprise when they arrived at 9am. Fortunately we can be flexible so we accommodated them, once they had rang their original AM customer to reschedule. The quality of the work done seems fine, although when the fitters left we noticed that a worktop edge in our utility room had been damaged. We contacted the office and were advised to submit photos. A few days later the supervisor rang to say he had spoken to the fitters. They "categorically denied" causing any damage and insisted that they only went into our utility room to plug in a charger. This is despite the fact that the only access to the old garage is through the utility room. That means that all of their tools, new doors and frames etc were carried through our utility room. Also, all of the waste was carried away through there, including the old garage door and frames. The supervisor told us that he considers that the damage was there before they started work. We can categorically state that it WAS NOT. Our advice is that if you have this firm in your property then before any work is carried out you take multiple videos of rooms likely to be accessed.
