Wish I could give zero stars

Wish I could give zero stars!
You speak with a person who lures you in by saying they work along side the police and that the magazine will reach 25k+ readers. I turn around and say okay can I some more information and I’ll decide.. his colleague rings up to “confirm” details but really records the conversation and takes that as a contract.. never received anything apart from an invoice for £174! I question this by ringing them and they respond it’s all been recorded and put the phone down!
I’ll be forwarding this on to my solicitor and already been speaking to trading standards! STAY CLEAR OF BUISNESS FORCE! TOTAL SCAM!

Why cant I give a review with zero…

Why cant I give a review with zero stars. Phoned me up and gave me the usual spin, they said they could send out a proof of the advert for me to see before agreeing, didnt bother with it, bow I'm getting phone calls and emails telling me I'm in default because I havent paid the invoice.
Haven't agreed to anything , yet they are saying I did, didnt sign anything either.
Complete scam.

SCAM

Would of gone with it. But you don’t work with the police to clamp down on dodgy buisnesses. Proper scam!

Biggest scam ever Be Aware

Biggest scam ever. They found my secondary website which I use for marketing purpose. They decided to promote that business as a trusted company where it doesn't even exist. No reviews whatsoever.

They told me they will get back to me with a design. They send me a design but was stuck in my spam folder.

Following emails stated that I have entered in to a binding contract. How is that even possible.

Biggest scams ever. Be aware. Very frustrating.

Definite Scam

As with other posters, this is targeted at new business and offers a 'recommendation' in their magazine. The address given on their website is actually a shared workspace company who seem legit.

Shame you can't give 0 stars

Shame you can't give 0 stars. Blatant scam. I humoured the scammer on the end of the line and when I asked for emailed details/contract the line mysteriously went blank.

HAVE TO COMMIT OVER THE PHONE!!!!

OK So i have been contacted (cold called ) by this company with an extremely forceful manner of selling for a "exclusive"advertising spot within their magazine for the next 4 issues apparently.

All about naming and shaming rogue traders in my area and that they work with the police and that i have been selected as an outstanding candidate to advertise within their very exclusive magazine for a fee of £195 for all quarters , BUT i needed to commit on the phone to get this exclusive deal. I then asked this Micheal Johnson to email me information as to what i will be getting and he replied no i need a commitment the "proper way" over the phone. I insisted on receiving an email 1st before committing and he said a colleague will ring me back.I have never heard of them nor seen a single magazine in any of my wholesalers i use.
A quick reverse picture search of their testimonials and guess what i found. One generic picture was from a Canadian gallery on a Canadian website. 20 min after chatting to the MR Johnson a woman phoned me and asked me to commit on the phone to their advertising services and that the calls were recorder . I told her that i told Mr Johnson that i am waiting for an information email and guess what i am still waiting as soon and as i asked for the email her tone completely changed.
Be aware..

AVOID SCAM!

AVOID SCAM!! This company prey on newly established businesses and get there details from my builder etc they call you directly and say they are clamping down on rogue businesses they didnt know they have had in there magazine, they say they want proper businesses and lure you in saying they work along side the police! They start to discuss the ad and that your business will be the only ad covering your type of work, they say they will send you an email outlining the info and pricing, however the email comes through in your spam and even though you dont ask to go ahead they send the email as an invoice which is a poor invoice! which outlines you have 7 days to cancel the order if you dont respond and tell them not to go ahead that's where they get you! when you search the business on CH it doesnt exist, the number listed on there FB links to a different business! They have no VAT number listed anywhere either, And they call you from a mobile that comes up as scam, luckily we were not fooled but there will be other people sadly effected by this and wouldn't see the email as it purposely goes to spam, I will be reporting them to the police and trading standards

shocking

Scam. Do not even talk to them.
I had a call from them with an offer to advertise my business in their magazine. I have asked for some more details. Straight after I received another call from different person saying same thing as in previous call. No information has been received. About 4 weeks latter they sent me a magazine with an invoice. They used my advert prom the yell.com website without my provision. DO NOT TALK TO THEM-HANG UP STRAIGHTAWAY!

Received a call from someone stating he…

Received a call from someone stating he was part of the serious crimes unit in Hereford but not to worry as he was working in partnership with Business Force told me I would be the only company with my trade in the magazine and as it was coming up to Christmas I wouldn’t have to pay anything until after. After my call had ended another call immediately came in from Business Force asking for my address so they could send me my invoice I refused and the woman I was talking to said it’s ok we’ll get it of your Facebook page. I said I’d think about it and could she send me the paperwork to look over it never came other than threatening emails about paying even thought I emailed from day one. Stating I didn’t want to do business with them.
Trading Standards are looking into them total SCAM don’t be fooled never say yes over a phone call it’s recorded and they use it as a guarantee I asked for a proof of contract which they didn’t have. They prey on new businesses stay away

Beware Business Force Massive Scam

Beware Business Force Massive Scam. They prey on new businesses offering an ad in their magazine but they dont send a magazine out. They sound convincing when they call you and don't ask for any payment details up front but later they will send you a sample magazine with your ad in and then start demanding payment. Also on the invoice that they send you with the fake magazine there is no VAT number even though they apply VAT to the cost. Don't pay them. They can't do anything without a contract and also if they did I'm sure Customs and Excise would like a word with them.
