Don't hate on Anacortes for getting banned from their site.
Anacortes Wild Bird and Telescope is one of the most respected retailers of high end optical equipment in the US. I've bought products from them, from $350 Televue eyepieces, to $2,000 mounts, and $5,000 apochromatic triplet refractors. They've always been helpful, communicative, expedient on shipping, and eager to assist with any issues. I suspect there is a some other reason to see negative reports like this given against one of the highest profile astro companies - sounds like revenge, jealousy, or anger for getting banned from his prominent web community. Go figure...

Order a monopod that was listed at $140.00 on the website, got order confirmation for price and free shipping. Next day got an email from a guy letting me know that item is backordered and now priced at $170.00 and no free shipping.
