I have been a loyal Bybit user and opted to use the Bybit Card to maximize cashback and reward points for all my daily and travel expenses, including holidays and essential purchases for my family.
After months of regular, legitimate use (bookings, medicines, gifts, travel payments), Bybit suddenly blocked all my points, claiming my account violated campaign rules. I never manipulated orders, nor used multiple accounts, nor engaged in abusive behavior. Each transaction was genuine, tied to personal or family needs, and often could have earned me cashback with other cards. Yet, Bybit ignored my requests for clarification and refused to specify what exactly was "irregular" about my payments.
Their support only replied with generic messages, insisting the decision is permanent, refusing any appeal or even clarification. I feel cheated, as the points I accumulated are now worthless and Bybit offers no transparency or logic behind this ban.
If you are relying on Bybit for card rewards or cashback, beware: they may block your points without warning and without proof. I am extremely disappointed and strongly advise caution to anyone considering Bybit Card for purchases.

My funds have been locked for weeks.
Bybit keeps blocking my re-verification for my Bybit EU account and I still cannot access my own money. I have opened multiple support tickets and none of them have been answered correctly. This is unacceptable and extremely worrying.
Update:
Bybit replied below asking me to share my UID through “Trustpilot’s Information Request form”. However, I have not received any Information Request at all, not in my Trustpilot account and not by email. Because my review is marked as “review without invitation”, the form doesn’t appear automatically, and Bybit has also not sent one manually.
This means I currently have no way to provide my UID and no way to get support. Their reply gives the impression they are helping, but in reality it leads nowhere. I’m now even more hopeless because I still cannot access my own funds and there is still no working communication channel.
Bybit, please send a real Trustpilot Information Request or give me a direct support email where I can safely provide my UID and finally get this resolved.

It’s an absolute disgrace how the support works.
I sent coins from my Ledger to sell on October 3rd, and then they froze everything, asking me to verify that the wallet is mine. That wouldn’t be a problem in itself, but their system doesn’t even let me complete the verification process.
It was hard enough to get through to a live agent, who then told me to make a video as proof and share it via Google Drive and email. I did exactly that — but since then, there’s been no response at all. They’re just sitting on my money, which is a very significant amount for me ($28,000).
At this point, I honestly don’t know what to do anymore...

I didn’t even remember I had a Bybit account, yet somehow over the past few weeks I started receiving messages saying people from China, Canada, and Russia were logging into it. How is that even possible? Every account I make is secured properly. So there’s your first red flag — their security is a complete joke.
I decided to contact the number they provided. The person on the line sounded professional enough, maybe even an actual Bybit employee, but that only made things worse. It confirmed to me this wasn’t a random scam — this is how Bybit actually operates.
When I tried to secure my account, I realized I’d forgotten my email but remembered my phone number. So I asked if they could help me recover it. Their response? They hung up on me. I thought maybe I got one rude employee. Nope — it happened two more times.
Then I tried resetting my password. I entered my phone number, asked for a verification code — and nothing. No code. No email. No help. Just a dead system and zero accountability.
To make things even worse, when I went to contact support through their site, I discovered you actually need to provide your email to even get help. Think about that — you can’t access support without the very information you’re trying to recover. That’s beyond stupid.
Bybit is not just unreliable — it’s unsafe. Their so-called “support” system is useless, their security is broken, and their customer service is downright disrespectful. If your money or data means anything to you, stay far away from this company.

They're robbing people. They took my money without even notifying me. I participated in cashback campaigns twice, and after that, I can't redeem my points for rewards. SCAM! I recommend reporting them to the consumer ombudsman. Bybit.eu fraud must end! They should be removed from Europe!

Since being forced to migrate my account to Bybit EU, my experience has been very disappointing. During the migration, I was required to convert my CAKE holdings into USDC — but the exchange rate offered by Bybit EU was shockingly poor compared to the actual market price.
At the time of conversion, Bybit EU only offered 2.59 per CAKE while the real market price was around 3.63. That’s an enormous gap and essentially forces customers to take a huge loss on their holdings. This feels extremely unfair, especially as the situation arises because Bybit failed to arrange the proper licenses in advance.
To make matters worse, there is no option to simply transfer the tokens out to a cold wallet unless you accept their terms. For a platform that advertises itself as user-focused and competitive, this practice is misleading and damaging to customer trust.
I will not recommend Bybit EU until they offer fair market prices during migrations and give customers the freedom to manage their assets properly.

What do you expect ByBit NL customers to do when you block them from onboarding on ByBit EU, even after they have fully completed the verification process correctly? What will happen to their current assets held with ByBit NL, especially since you provide no clear explanation or alternative options?

People, stay away from Bybit EU. Your money isnt safe with this company (without having to legally fight them). This is my experience.
I started earlier this year on Bybit Netherlands, which was actually all good. I traded crypto, attended events and got myself a Bybit Card for cashback.
After a forced migration from Bybit NL to Bybit EU a few issues started. One issue was that I could not attend an event and the other issue was that I couldnt spend my cashback points to actually receive cashback value.
For these issues I submitted a support Ticket. The response I got was that I supposedly somehow violated the terms and conditions without getting an explanation as to what I supposedly did (I havent done anyhing but migrating and submitting for an event and trying to use the cashback points I already had). They also immediately stated that this conclusion was final. I contacted support asking for an explanation, but they said that they dont have to give an explanation, that the decision is final and they wont answer an appeal. My account is now supposedly restricted and I dont have a single clue why.
I won’t accept this, as i’m 100% sure I have done nothing wrong and this is an issue on Bybit EU’s side (migration probably). I just want to warn you all that this company thinks they can restrict accounts without motivation and without the ability to appeal. Just stay away from them, your money isnt safe here.
UPDATE: Bybit EU closed my case without an explanation. I am bringing this matter to the financial authorities.

I’ve used Bybit Global for a few years and it’s been fantastic. I have a fully verified account and live in Europe. Recently I guess everyone in the EU has to switch to the EU platform — this is just insane. The level of verification they’ve been asking for over the last week is one request after another. They’re even asking to show all funds, payslips — basically to show all your private assets and money. It’s unbelievable that in 2025 the biggest crypto exchange is asking for payslips, income proof, and all your assets to be shown openly. Are you serious, Bybit? Why on earth do you think anyone wants to do that in 2025 when there are unlimited options from CEX to DEX? This much verification isn’t even required in forex or stock trading platforms. I’ve been in crypto for five years and even then no exchange asked for payslips or to show basically everything you have. Bybit EU, if you keep this up I’m sure you will lose every single European client. I’m pro basic verification, but hell no — I’m not going to give my open bank account, payslips, or investment portfolio to anyone, because I have 20 other exchanges ready that won’t ask me for this.

On August 15th, I transferred 21k USD from Kucoin to Bybit.EU, as they were compliant with MICA regulations. After three weeks, my account was suddenly blocked without any notification on the platform. After searching for a while, I found an email in my spam folder stating that I had to prove the origin of the funds within three days, so I was too late. I immediately forwarded the necessary documents. It took three days for support to transfer them to the correct department. It's now almost two weeks later, and my ENTIRE account is still blocked. This is not the service I expect from a trading platform. When you contact support, you always get the same answer: "Your request has been forwarded to the correct department and they will answer your question within x hours," but the response remains nonexistent. When you contact support again, you simply get the same answer again and are referred to the compliance department. When you email this department, you get no response. In other words, many promises but no solution. A support service that cannot take action in cooperation with other services is not a support service but a fob-off service. Please take action quickly, you are rightly losing customers!
I understand that Bybit.EU must comply with MiCA regulations. However, you are not organized to handle such volumes of deposits effectively. Your customers are the victims. Your competitors solve such problems in a maximum of 4 hours! Because of the blocked funds, I've also lost profits!
Update 2/10/25: Still no solution and received the same answer three more times. I'm considering legal action and compensation for lost profits.

Although my account has passed your verification checks, a standard deposit of 6k us was blocked. Then purchasing 2k usdc, went through. The second purchase of 2k was flagged. The resolution path demands an unreasonable level of additional documentation—including a selfie, proof of card ownership, bank transactions, and proof of income—that should have been superseded by the initial verification.
This creates a redundant and frustrating user experience. The absence of user-friendly tools, like an in-platform camera, further compounds the difficulty.

This is the first time ever writing a review. After trading on Bybit global for years I had to migrate to Bybit EU and so I did withdraw my funds from bybit Global to Bybit EU. Came to Bybit EU and the platform is terrible, less pairs, less liquidity. Trying to withdraw everything to start elsewhere, but here I’m running into troubles since Sunday. I need to supply them with documents, which I did. Instead of co-operating witb Bybit Global where they can see I have been trading there since 2023. The amount I paid in fee’s over the years is higher than the amount I want to withdraw. Live support is worthless, one agents says its getting solved within the next few hours and the other that it will be fixed the same day, here we are days later and nothing happened. Can’t get in contact with the compliance department. Live support bugs out multiple times when chatting. Not coming any further. Terrible experience, never had a worse experience on any other exchange since my trading started in 2018. My Bybit EU UID is: 508316676. Solve my withdrawal! This is unacceptable behaviour.
EDIT: problem solved after 10 days.

Ho chiesto se il fatto che non stessi ricevendo dei rewards ed il cashback dalla carta fosse per qualche mia mancanza o per qualche problema della piattaforma. Ho ricevuto 2 mail di risposta, ed in entrambe c'era scritto che ho violato le policies della piattaforma senza darmi ulteriori spiegazioni e che quindi non ho più diritto nè alla promo del 20% di cashback nè alla conversione dei rewards points in cashback vero e proprio (usdc). Ottimo metodo per fare in modo che i clienti non contattino più il supporto

Ho partecipato anche alla campagna Top up $100 get up to 50 USDC. Sono passati 14 giorni dalla fine della campagna ma i miei reward non sono mai apparsi nel reward HUB. Ho inviato un nuovo claim all'help center ma immagino che mi risponderete che ho infranto qualche policy e mi escluderete dalla camopagna come per i due claim precedenti

This feels like misleading marketing: attracting people with a bonus that no longer exists.

It’s a terrible platform, I feel like I’ve been robbed!
My wallet had a few thousand euros, but after I migrated my coins it dropped to just a few hundred.
I lost 80% of my coins such as Render, ZRO, CGPT, BRETT, W, and AXL. They didn’t transfer them to Bybit EU, and I also received no compensation.
I filed a complaint, but I don’t know how long it will take to find out where my money is. I feel extremely stressed.
