If I could give zero stars I would. This is the absolute worse shipping company I’ve ever dealt with in 35 years. Claiming you’ve attempted to deliver my package when I was literally sitting at home on my porch waiting for it since it was “out for delivery” only to see no one ever attempt to deliver anything. Pathetic and I hope the go out of business, which according to all the reviews I read isn’t to far off.

The service with this company is TERRIBLE. I have been patient with this company when it comes to them delivering my package. For the last 3 weeks i have been told to wait 1-3 days for the delivery of my package and still no package. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was not one and i could speak to one via email. I asked for the address to where my package was so i could pick it up myself, i was told there was not one. I asked to speak to the driver or team lead of the drivers and was told there was not one. I asked were they stealing packages and hesitated and said no. At this point i can only assume they are stealing packages. Worse company ever.

Cainiao was purchased by Alibaba Group in 2024, and is now under the same parent umbrella as AliExpress. AE has recently started letting Cainiao US handle parcel delivery in the United States, and they are not good. Cainiao acts as an intermediary and passes parcels off to a last mile carrier like SpeedX, which just complicates the matter. They do not provide delivery proof other than saying "Delivered," and there's no way to actually see who will make the last mile delivery to you. You can't even get proof, email to Cainiao's US office simply bounces, and their global office refers you to the vendor itself.
So far with my orders from AE, they have about a 75% success rate of actually getting parcels to me. Two of the last 8 did not arrive at all, and the remaining 6 finally showed up after being "Out for delivery" for 8 days - and were simply tossed in the bushes at my place of business instead of being left inside the unlocked doors, or even on the covered walkway where someone could see it and bring it inside - it sat outside during a 4 day holiday weekend which fortunately was just cold.
The last parcel was delivered by SpeedX for Cainiao, the same company that recently could not deliver because my business was closed - on a Monday afternoon? (12/1 Edit: I found out that SpeedX has been delivering these to a nearby business that's normally closed through the week. I have no idea why, the address on the parcel is correct but the coordinates they had on a similar item are completely wrong.)
I find myself considering the reliability of continuing to order from companies that use this carrier for shipping. If they do not improve substantially, there's no need as a 25% loss rate is unacceptable. They get two stars because they actually managed to get some of the things I ordered in my hands, even if it was a potential loss due to weather.
12/2 Edit: I've reduced my rating to one star for the below reason:
It's most likely that Cainaio's last-mile carrier choices were completely unable to deliver anything to me. I found out that they had been going to a local church, and that church had been bringing them to my location. I contacted SpeedX, one of those last mile carriers...they admitted they misdelivered, could not get it back, and to use this email as proof of loss.
That doesn't help at all because Cainiao doesn't provide the last-mile tracking number at any point. A vendor can't cross reference that to the order, and have no way to verify that it's actually what I said it is. I've simply stopped ordering from AliExpress and other companies that use these carriers for their deliveries.

Order a wig off of alieexpress a month in advance of con, my shop i bought it from used this stupid ass shipping people as the deliver. They claim they could not deliver it because i was not home, except I was home, at like 7:20 at night. never heard a knock or doorbell, so basiclly they stole my package or went to the wrong house. Now after reading these reviews, i will have to shell out more money to buy a wig off of amazon because the con is in two weeks and i need it.

I’ve been reaching out constantly in regards to my lost package. It was never delivered to my house. I was sending all pictures of proof how my house looks and apparently it was not negotiable. For whatever reason the currier delivered to the wrong place, avoided my driveway and left the package elsewhere. I’ve been trying to get a satisfying resolution for myself for over a week. I didn’t get any apology nor refund. I WILL NEVER recommend this service to anyone I know and I will reach out to the sellers directly describing the situation as well as demanding my refund even though it’s you company’s fault. It’s just utterly disrespectful to run and operate the business like you do.

If I can give no stars or Negative I would, order an expensive item only to see they came once when I am not in my office and not able to delivery it again. call four times but no one knows what to do or know where the package is, it is truly an nightmare, the part is for a printer for work not for hobby, learn an expensive lesson not to use or trust this company, aliexpress refused to refund money.

This is the first time I have heard of CAINIAO and I hope it is the last.
I was contacted last week by a CAINIAO driver who asked me to walk and meet him at a car park. I explained that I was at work and he can leave the package on the gf.l of the delivery address. He advised that "company policy" meant he could not as there is a 2 minute walk from the nearest parking. The driver refused to deliver to the address on the package.
This has now happened on 2 more occassions so the company is wasting my time and theirs, when they can easily just leave the package on the gf. It doesn't require a signature. Frustrating! I will not use this company and will share with my friends

Awful experience with this logistics company. My package was marked as "incorrect address" even though I confirmed the address is correct with the address in their system. I was informed that it would be marked as a re-delivery but have not received anything in over a week. Tracking has not been updated. Anytime I call to check on the status, I'm told I need to provide them with a correct address again but they make no movement towards delivery.
Have not gotten any email correspondence from them in over a week to troubleshoot. Horrible horrible experience

I never received my package, I called them. They said that my address doesn’t exist. I send an email, multiple of them, they tell me, they open the investigation, and take two business days to have some kind of answer, guess what I never heard the answer! And I sent them an emails and I call them. No respond. They can’t even contact the delivery person. (what we talking about) there is incompetent people sitting in the office answer the calls and more incompetent people answer the emails!
But you know what they have a really cute website where they talking about how great they do their job!
If you see that your delivery gonna be with this company, you can cancel straight ahead and refund your money! Before you’re gonna have a trouble to deal with this people!!!

i have bought a motorcycle part on 28 of august. should have arrived on 13 october. today is 18 november and nothing yet. the item seems to be "Awaiting for transit to final delivery office" from 10 october.ok...but WHERE???? Shut this company down. They left my package outside an office building on a busy city street on a Saturday night at midnight where it was stolen. Now the replacement order is nowhere to be found and when I call it’s like I need to explain how a delivery service works. It’s terrible. I don’t know how using this carrier is even legal. I ORDERED A BUNCH OF STUFF ON ALIEXPRESS IN AUGUST, BUT THE COURIER FAILED TO DELIVER MY PACKAGE TO ME AND I HAD TO CALL THEM EVERY WEEK FOR THE PAST 2 MONTHS GET THEM TO REDELIVER MY PACKAGE!
