DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH CAMPAYA
They cancelled our villa which we'd booked in January for the end of July, 6 weeks before. Zero availability now and what we've got is smaller, 2000 more expensive and further from the beach. They have not helped with the extra money or compensation. They took nail biting weeks to refund the villa, which we'd paid in full 2 days before they cancelled.

We are sorry about your review as we have done everything to help and converse with you.
After you luckily managed to find another house on a different site, which unfortunately cost more than the original one that we refunded you, we requested that you sent the new booking contract to us, so we could take a look at potential compensation even after receiving various threats.
Unfortunately you refused to send us an actual booking confirmation, which prevents us from being able to help you further.
We hope that you had a good holiday at the end.

it is such a shame as the house itself is nice

The staff at Campaya have so far been very good at responding to, and answering our queries.

Lovely property wonderful views.
Very nice property.
The owner didn’t speak good English but was very helpful and took time to try and explain how everything works.
The accommodation was very nice with lovely views and a small private pool, which he came to clean twice during our stay.
The property was very well equipped with towels, bedding, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc as well as cooking equipment.
The only downside was that it was a little remote. Only a half hour drive to the beach but there was nowhere (bars/restaurants etc) within walking distance. If that is not a problem then you will be happy.
The electric did cut out a couple of times when we had too many appliances on at once. Typical Spanish electrics! Also the tv showed very few British channels and there was no internet. We did get a good mobile signal most of the time though.
We had brought some dvds with us for night times but there was no DVD player. So we bought one for €29.
Had it not been for these few niggles we would have given it five stars. But we would recommend it and would go back again.
