Camp Hobson were superb! We had to empty a very large old house in only 3 days and they surveyed and advised, organised and reassured us and in the end the guys who actually packed us up were brilliant, couldn't be more helpful and willing, had great sense of humour and bent over backwards to help us fill a skip, move some items to storage and some to a new destination. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I’m writing to let you know that we have moved in successfully and want to take this time to sincerely appreciate the movers team led by Darren. Josh, Matt and Darren were really amazing and very professional. They did all the moving with precision and take and I can’t thank them enough for their helpful nature.

Easy, prompt, courteous communication with the office (Jo Snugden), both via telephone and email.

The crew turned up on time, with two smaller vans given the size of our gate (i.e., they were responsive to access limitations) and very efficiently offloaded our furniture. Very friendly crew.

The team that helped us move were very efficient, helpful and friendly.
They had no problems deconstructing/reconstructing our large furniture items, they handled both heavy and fragile items well, despite some challenges like narrow doorways and lots of stairs.
They arrived a bit after the scheduled appointment time, but Russell made sure to call me to let me know about the delay, and brought along some extra team members to make up for it, meaning everything went very quickly.
Overall, we were very happy.

Camp Hopson made my move really smooth, I couldn't recommend enough. Last time I moved I used "Any Van" and it was dire from start to finish. They caused so much additional stress through their incompetence. The team from Camps are amazing-they worked very quickly, were very polite, punctual, professional- I have no hesitations in recommending them.

Very pleased with the service I received, both from the office and the moving men. David ensured the move went ahead without a hitch, even with last minute logistical problems. The moving men completed the job faultlessly. Would recommend.

Great service. Office team were really helpful with last minute enquiries and changes. Removals team were always courteous, on time and handled everything carefully.

the removal men were so efficient and very helpful we were impressed on how they worked very hard making our move less stressful for us than we expected it to be. nothing was to much trouble for them. we think one man was called Scott, but sorry I didn't get the others names. we will definitely recommend your services to our friends if they need a removal company. thank you .

The team worked very well together they worked fast and efficiently,after putting my bedroom together, I changed my mind on where my bed needed to go, they were only to happy to change round, I would definitely recommend using this service, Thank/you

Very happy with the service.
It was not a big job as it was just moving a very big table plus sofa/chairs etc. But had two different drop off addresses.
The two guys did a great job, they where quick and very careful, no issues.

I chose this company under the Camp Hopson name, expecting the reputation and high standards of the Newbury Camp Hopson store — but since discovered they are not connected to that company!

While the presales service was good and a few staff on the day were professional, the overall experience fell short. Labelling was poor, boxes were placed in the wrong rooms, several items were damaged, and some staff behaviour was unprofessional and inappropriate. Some issues are still unresolved months later. Currently in process of reporting to Trading Standards.

Went into Camps as we usually do, great shopping experience, Galina who works in the Lingerie department, exceptional at her job, good people skills, patient, lovely lady, Thanku, made my day..

Excellent service from start to finish for a 300 mile move. Tony and Craig were so helpful and worked extremely hard to get the loading and unloading done in super quick time, even popping back the next morning to check everything was in the right place. It was clear that the team knew exactly what they were doing when they turned up with a clean truck, extra packing materials and padding to protect furniture during transit. The movers were really careful with the furniture throughout and even made sure they helped to place all the boxes in the correct rooms on arrival at the new house. I wouldn't change a thing.

We’re only sorry we can’t give you six stars. We had the most amazing team carry out our move yesterday. Polite, thoughtful, cheerful, hard working young men who got stuck right in and worked flat out for nine hours. Nothing was too much trouble and they asked questions as to where we wanted everything and checked if things needed moving elsewhere. Their dismantling and packing skills were second to none. After a stressful downsize from a 5 bed to a 3 bed house, they got everything in!! They even took the trouble to compliment us on our house choice 😊
We appreciated their humour and teamwork. We have decided never to move again (I bet everyone says that!) but if we do I’m definitely getting Camp Hobson involved. Thanks so much everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kim and Perry Gale

Camp Hopson Removals where excellent on my recent move from my London home into storage.
Despite a few last minute hiccups on my part, the crew performed wonderfully and will be bringing my belongings from storage to Guernsey as soon as I have a home.
They are an excellent company with great staff and i couldn't recommend them more highly.

Excellent, exceeded expectations. They were intelligent, responsive and an imaginative group and made our “huge” move really easy. Great guys to work with, highly recommended
