Best Photo Printing Service In Cambridge
Have been using Campkins for photo printing for some time including film developing and have always got consistent and good results, more importantly, they are always willing to try to cater to my individual printing needs.
A frustrating experience
I placed an order with Campkins and got a really good price but knowing that the camera was out of stock across the UK so I would have to wait and initially received prompt and courteous service.
I found it frustrating that there weren't regular pro-active updates updates, although I did always get updates when requested and was then further frustrated when many other shops had stock of the camera but Campkins could not fulfill my order still.
Upon my request, the order was cancelled and I have received a full refund and have now purchased elsewhere but due to the price increases since my order, have lost out by a fair sum of money. I received an automated email confirming the refund but not an email from a person, such as were sorry we couldn't fulfill your order.
I'm not saying that people shouldn't use Campkins but I am suggesting not to if they don't have the order in stock and ready to send as clearly they can't get hold of stock as quickly as other shops.
Dealt with defective second-hand camera with no quibbles
I've bought a couple of cameras here over the years. the first had no problems so was a pretty straightforward sale with not too much to talk about. The second, more recent one, was a second-hand DSLR (an area I know nothing about). The advice seemed sound so we got that and were very pleased with it. However after a few months of use it failed - the image sensor cover stopped opening properly. That's when you really discover if the service is good or not! Well, turned out it was; when they were unable to repair it, they replaced it with a better model (of course a full refund was also offered). *This* is the reason why this works out better than getting a secondhand camera elsewhere. Very happy to support that kind of service.

Wanted to order a lens, I emailed them, within less than 24 hours they put the price up by over £200!! Purchase your product first then ask them a question about it before they get chance to hike the prices because of your interest.
