Slowest delivery company to ever exist…

Slowest delivery company to ever exist AND they won’t leave the package at the damn door for some ridiculous reason. Every other delivery company has a better delivery process than them. Just leave my package at my door stop taking it to the post office. The post office workers are also miserable people to deal with, so pissed when they have to do their job. I give a 0.5 of a star

Great online customer service!

I was very concerned that my package was lost but I made the mistake in tracking my package. So, I reached out to the online support on Canada Post website and received a prompt answer.

Sick of them.

I hope shops stop using Canada post and at least allow you to choose to have your things delivered by someone else.

My order- 6:54 pm
Item processed
Toronto, ON

8:43 am
Item has been returned and is enroute to the Sender
North York, ON.

They didn't even try to deliver my stuff, my address and everything was right, never had a problem but I do now because it's Canada post. Now my order is being sent back and they don't even tell me why. I'm honestly so sick of them.

Keep going on strike every year

Keep going on strike every year, but please remember that your customers will remember this. And that's exactly what's happening year-over-year. Canada post keep going on strike at the worst time possible, which is the holidays it has caused irreparable harm to my business. I will no longer be using them forever. I've started using gls per later in ICS and not only it's cheaper than Canada, the polls, the services even more reliable, we small businesses cannot rely on Canopus anymore. I have so many customers inquiring on whether I'll ship their orders with candlepor not because that will influence their decision.

Unresolved issue for 15 years

I've been getting mail for other addresses for over 15 years. No matter how many times I contact them, they never fix the problem. I don't understand how someone can be so bad at their job.

Canada Post didn't tell me at the time…

Canada Post didn't tell me at the time I sent a tracked package overseas that they couldn't ship wireless headphones by air due to their lithium ion batteries (in the device). They sent the package back to me (I lost the $70 CAD it cost to send) and then didn't bother to knock on my door when they delivered it. There were 3 of us home at the time. Now I can't pick it up for 24 hours and I have to go to the post office. Never again. Canada Post should be allowed to go bankrupt and close

On December 30 at approximately 10:45…

On December 30 at approximately 10:45 AM I was sitting 20 feet from my front door. I had seen online that my package was out for delivery. I heard the lid of my mailbox close. I went to check a couple minutes later and found the Canada post delivery notice. No knock or ring of the doorbell, I checked to make sure it worked. My neighbours have reported the same thing happening to them. I believe that an investigation would find that we have a courier who is too lazy to get a signature. I do not drive, so I had to arrange a ride to the postal outlet to pick up my package. I arrived after 1 PM as instructed. My package was no longer in the system. I filed a second complaint. I got a call from the post office supervisor on that one. Still have not had a response on this problem. I was told oh sorry your package missed the shuttle to the postal outlet. And I’m not sure if it will make it on the next shuttle. Got a second ride on January 2. Arrived after 1 PM. Still no package. Tried one more time and the package was finally available at 3:40 PM. I true we believe that this courier needs to be reprimanded. This is not an isolated incident.

I could carry the pkg faster than Cda Post can deliver it

An order was sent from Ontario to Newfoundland on 12 January and arrived in St. John's on the 17th. It was 'processed' on the 18th. and 'expected to be delivered' on the 19th. That didn't happen. It's now expected to be delivered tomorrow (22/01). The only information provided is 'delivery may be delayed because of transportation delay'. Isn't every delay in receiving a pkg due to a delay in transportation? If our pkg. shows up tomorrow, it will have taken Canada Post 4 weekdays after processing it to travel 5 kms. from the sorting centre to our home.

Lack of work ethic and horrendous notifications

The postman left a mere 30 seconds after calling! Do they seriously expect people to simply wait at the doorstep for 8 hours?

In the meanwhile, their "notification system" failed to notify me of the postman's presence at all.

Consider having anything delivered to your house very carefully before leaving it up to this postal "service".

Returned item asking for more postage

So I received a package back in the mail, and they told me I needed more postage, meanwhile I weighed it and it had the correct postage on it. I've looked at their website for the cost to make sure. Just complete incompetence. I cant imagine this company will last much longer with the extreme amount of debt they are in.

Package not picked up

Sent a package, cost 36$ within same province. Recipient lost mail key and was late to pick up package. Package was sent back for me to pick up in hometown. Cost 28$ for me to now pick up same package. I asked if it had been marked " return to sender" would it be no cost. Employee said i would have to pay to pick up in this scenario also. I have paid 64$ and the package sits in my home. $?@,%:÷:@^#! I will be shipping gifts direct from retailers and or driving them to recipient myself. I will not be using Canada Post in the future. Their system is "corrupt" and exorbitant.
