Weird Lying Clinic. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

I wanted to book a massage at the Canonbury Natural Health Clinic & although it was a long shot, reached out to see if I could book a last minute appointment. Individual therapist contact details are on their website, so I contacted therapists Liz and Lucinda via email and text. However days went by and no-one replied. I contacted the clinic directly to ask if the clinic was still in operation considering no-one responded. I at least expected them to say "sorry no slots available for that day but happy to book you in for another day".

The Clinic Manager who goes by Jane Eshref and Jane Perry (according to her emails) responded saying they are indeed operating, said she would find out what happened with Liz & Lucinda since bad service reflects on the clinic as a whole, & she gave me £10 discount towards a booking with a different therapist. There are 3 other massage therapists at this clinic but for some reason Jane only recommended Laura & Angela. It's weird that she did not promote Sarah aswell. These two actually didn't offer the massage I wanted so I went with Sarah. Jane 'confirmed' she asked Sarah to contact me with an appointment & also had feedback from Liz.

Liz told Jane that she didn't respond to me because they "didn't leave their name and wanted more information about the massage services I provided and the opening and closing times which are on the website". This was a lie. My text contained my name & simply said I wanted to book & I got her details from the clinic website. I fed this back to Jane with a screenshot of my actual text as proof.

Jane then suddenly replied that Sarah is "out of the country" and "we won't be able to help you at this time"! Then wished me the best in finding a new clinic!

Firstly, how does the Clinic Manager not know a therapist at her clinic is "out of the country"? She didn't offer me any booking dates for when Sarah is back/no indication of when she'll be back either. Secondly there was no acknowledgement at all about Liz lying, nor what happened with Lucinda. Thirdly, there was no mention of me using my £10 voucher on another service at the clinic or using it at another time. I was just dismissed and told to go somewhere else! What kind of customer service is that? Is this how they treat customers when they've been caught lying, & over something so trivial? I just wanted to move on & book with someone else but the lies just kept getting more & more dramatic.

When I mentioned I would be writing a review about my experience of the clinic, Jane tried to discourage me from writing it by saying they tried to help me! Then told me that Liz offered me a free treatment....but she never actually told me this until now, so I can assume Jane is making up more lies! What a joke of a clinic.

Conclusion: This clinic is in shambles and DO NOT ACT PROFESSIONALLY. The clinic manager and therapists at this clinic are weird, they don't properly address complaints, they lie & are clearly not interested in business. I tried several times in good faith to book a treatment at this clinic, only to be told to go somewhere else! In fact I did, there are much better clinics out there, and I'm so glad I don't have to deal with this waste of time clinic anymore.

In my opinion I DO NOT RECOMMEND this clinic, it is not worth the effort to even contact them, they should be avoided at all costs.
