We sent out about 6 requests for a quotation for cratch and pram covers for our narrowboat, Canvasman phoned up next day to get more information and gave us the price at the end of the call. We waited for the others to get back, not one did for about a month or two, in the meantime we confirmed that we would like Canvasman to do the work, ( if a business is not interested in getting in contact until it suits them, I feel that they are not worth trusting).
From the very beginning we were kept informed, given dates for measuring and fitting so we were able to arrange our boat to be at the site of our choosing, as we are continuously moving.
The fitting was an absolute pleasure to watch, the fitters were so precise and careful, making the covers fit better than a glove, no wrinkles or having gaps where there should be any, the plastic windows looked as though there weren't any in so clear.
Canvasman were not the cheapest, even though the others that did finally contact us were a lot cheaper, we are so happy with the final goods that the extra is by far a greater deal than what the others could have offered.

We love our new Widebeam Boat canopy. From start to finish the process was seamless. Although I delayed the fitting (COVID), the guys turned up on time and worked without interruption.
Although not cheap, they gave us the confidence to proceed with our order. Another canopy maker couldn’t even be bothered to get back to me after requesting pictures and another never got back to me. We even paid a bit more for a canopy that can split in two, with 4 stainless hoops (instead of the normal 3), making it easier to put down/up. Great service and we feel proud to cruise on the waterways with our ‘Canvasman’ canopy.

Ordered a cover for my outdoor cushion box as the existing one that came with it had deteriorated over a couple of winters. I came across Canvasman on the web and as they were based near me thought I would give them a try. I sent them dimensions and photographs of the box and back came a quote and some sample materials. Once everything was agreed I paid 50% deposit and they started production. It has taken approximately five weeks for the cover to arrive, which has been a lot quicker than originally stated. The cover is a perfect fit made of excellent quality material and although expensive I can see where the cost is. Hopefully this cover will last many years. The balance was paid before despatch, it then arrived 24 hours later.
I would recommend both the product and the company as the whole process has been very slick.

From initial contact to delivery of the product our Dutch Barge canvas cover has been a dream. The staff were very diligent about making sure that the design and dimensions were checked several times. Customer service has been excellent and communication has been very professional and timely. I am looking forward to fitting to my boat when I can get back to Belgium.

Had a great experience with this company. We chose them through reviews and reputation. The covers we bought weren't cheap (no hidden costs) but we figured it was a once to pay investment. Start to finish we had a first class, friendly and professional service.
Having had the covers on for a couple of weeks we are sure we made the right choice and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wanting a quality product.

Excellent product. The awning for my gazebo is really well made and looks good. Zips are very strong and good quality fasteners.
This contains a double zip for a door. It would have benefitted from a pocket in the door bottom to put a lightweight rail in making it easier to roll up.

Friendly efficiant service. Initially put off with the long lead time, but the product is awesome and well worth the wait. Everyone i spoke to throughout the well oiled process was friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend and have done!!

I am delighted with my outbuilding side panels and doors, the quality of materials and finish transformed the space completely. The level of customer support from design to delivery has been excellent as well.

From the outset of the order there was regular communication as to the progress of my boat cover. On delivery the quality of the work was first class. Would highly recommend Canvasman.

I contacted canvassman about some side covers for a new large Gazebo we had just built in the garden, We found Chris and all the team to be extremely helpful, professional, throughout the whole process with plenty of advice and help with styles, material,zips, windows,and colours, also was sent samples to look at before process began, the order was made and delivered on time, and look fantastic, we are very pleased with the finished product, and would,nt hesitate to recommend there services. excellent from start to finish, thank you.

We asked Canvasman if they could design and make a cover for our Kart Trailer we use this to store and transport our Kart to race meetings with the existing cover that came with trailer we was having to totally undo cover from trailer to unload or load Kart up if this was raining everything got wet so we needed a cover that all four sides could be opens individually
Canvasman came up with a design that we could access each side by zips this was built and is excellent makes our life so much easier storing Kart knowing that a good quality cover is protecting it , looks great at our race meetings already people saying where did that done ,From design to receiving cover was brilliant kept in touch with each step of the way , and staff was so helpful all the way

Used Canvasman several times in recent years to repair boat covers and seats. Always easy to deal with, and the workmanship is first class.

I asked Canvasman to make us some covers for our outdoor furniture. Previous experience with other covers had been very poor, but this time we have hit th jackpot! The quality of the product is excellent, and because Canvasman staff went to exceptional lengths to make sure, the fit is spot on. The covers have already faced snow and heavy rain, and are extremely well finished I was especially pleased whenever I made contact that staff wanted to please and to make sure I was getting what I wanted. This approach permeated the whole company, and I recommend them with no hesitation. A special mention for the admin staff - a real pleasure to speak with them at all times. It makes the difference!

All staff were courteous and friendly. The initial visit to measure up my boat for covers was completed despite the inclement weather. Final fitment was carried out quickly and the initial measurements were spot on as there were no hiccups in fitting. Final result looks good.
