We wanted canvas panels to enclose an outside verandah - we had a great friendly and efficient service from beginning to end. Useful videos to ensure measurements are taken correctly - and although we were asked to re-measure a number of times - it only proved to us how much attention to detail and attention to our individual project was being taken by the design team. Our canvas panels arrived as expected and are perfect. I can highly recommend the team at Canvasman.

We couldn’t be happier with the service and finished product from Canvasman. They designed and fitted side panels for an outdoor area at our preschool so it could be used in all weathers. It was not an easy job as the structure is not a uniform shape and there are fixed obstacles that needed to be worked around. The panels fit like a glove and have transformed the area. All work was carried out in a COVID secure manner. Canvasman were at the higher end of our budget but we definitely got what we paid for and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending them.

We had excellent service from canvasman who fitted our cruiser stern skirt and covers to our now. Despite the pandemic and us choosing a very non-standard colour they gave us measuring and fitting dates well in advance which they stuck to, turned up on time and did a top quality job. Thanks very much.

I had canvasman make me a winter/towing cover for my side console day boat. They were the most expensive of the firms I looked at but I could afford and wanted the best which going off the reviews they seemed to be.

I can only describe the result as catastrophic.
The workmanship and materials were excellent. The design was hopelessly inadequate. There were insufficient and wrongly placed securing straps and large areas of unsupported canvas.

In fairness it isnt an easy boat to make a cover for. A rival firm stated that a supporting framework would be needed, their quote including the framework was £800-£900, Canvasman charged me over £1200.

First time it rained it immediately pooled all down one side and the cover collapsed into the boat under the weight. There was so much water pooled in the cover I had to pump it out.

I am about 100 miles from Canvasman but the problem was immediate and foolishly I started moving the placement of the straps and adding new ones to make it tighter. By doing this I thus voided the warranty.

This was still insufficient and I have now had to construct a framework myself to support the cover.

Dissatisfied does not even begin to cover it.

From start to finish, the service I received from The Canvas Man was truly first class. Despite the Covid-19 situation, I received regular communications throughout the design process and the final hood, fitted to my Picton Fiesta 4 is a far better fit and a much better quality than its original hood. I cannot recommend these guys enough, every single member of their team provides a first class service. If my hood needs replacing again in 10 years time, I won't hesitate to ring them again.

Brilliant rear 'pram' canopy for our semi-trad narrowboat. What I particularly liked was that we got see 3-D images of the design, based on accurate measurements, and could work with the designer to make sure it was what we wanted.
During the fitting, the engineer checked we were happy at each stage, and explained things clearly.
There are cheaper options out there, but the Canvasman team were great to work with and the final result is outstanding quality.

Outstanding service and perfect product. The team were attentive to details, communicative with updates, and very responsive to queries. If only more companies took a leaf out of Chris and Fran’s book. Thank you.

I had my new Cratch Cover fitted today by Eren.

I had a cratch check cover fitted 10 years ago and they still had the original plans so a replacement cover was at a very competitive price, which was great.

Eren and the whole team was very professional, friendly, communicated the process throughout and did a high quality job.

Excellent Company! Very professional approach and very good communication over the phone and by email during the production process. We needed a new canopy for our swing seat. They based their design on measurements I had taken, asking for clarification on a few points. The final product fitted perfectly and looks great. Right as the beginning of the process they gave me a breakdown of the stages and a final delivery date estimate which they met. The cover was a little more expensive than I had expected but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. I have no hesitation in recommending Canvasman!

Superb quality. We received our bespoke gazebo panels and installed them in 1 hour. The measuring system they have along with the cad designer is second to none. We are so glad we chose Canvasman over two other competitors. The panels look beautiful and have made the neighbours so jealous. Thank you for a great job and will highly recommend Canvasman to friends and family, oh and of course the neighbours. Keep up the good work.

Excellent quality, not cheap but you get what you pay for, and above all nice people to do business with.

I will start from the end, because most people want to see the summary first:
* The product is fantastic, very lightweight, easy to handle, easy to fold & store away.
* Quality of stitching and finishing was excellent.
* Communication is great, step-by-step progress updates were given, along with upfront timescales.
* Consultation was very attentive, I was guided towards the best solution.
* Range of fabrics & colours available is beautiful.
* Pricing was perfectly acceptable considering the amout of work.

And here is the story: I needed several covers for some unusual tables, but it didn't surprise Chris Salisbury in the least. He listened with attention to my challenges, and came up with 3 solutions. Between us we narrowed them down to one, based on price, ease of use and weight, and the price quoted was acceptable, particularly for UK-made. I was given a timescale indicating each stage of the process, from design to manufacture. There was a delay on my end with regards to design, but Rob in production has managed to push the order through for me to meet the original expectations.

When the covers arrived, they were much lighter and easier to handle than expected. I expect weatherproof fabric to be heavy and bulky, but it really wasn't.

It is really a shame that I cannot attach a picture of the finished product, because they look great!
