Avoid at all cost. I truly believe I’ve been scammed
Avoid at all cost.
They have taken payment, and Not working with my creditors as they represented they would, and I am constantly refused explanations.
Rest assured, they ARE taking their payment, though I now have to attend a law suit by a creditor ALone. I am told they will negotiate with the creditor if I give them More money.
When I hired them, I was on time with all of my accounts, per their advisement I stopped paying my monthly, and paid them instead.
A second creditor has threatened suit.
I’ve asked about the other creditors and am told Canyon is not doing any negotiations, I asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor, and am told There is no supervisor.
It’s a total scam, and not I’m completely at a loss, Canton continues to debit from my bank account, leaving me no funds to attempt to resolve the debts on,y own. I wish I had never fallen for this scam.
I will be taking council from an attorney (not canyon) on how I can resolve this mess, and potentially take action against Canyon for fraud... or at the least for miss representing themselves and for preying upon the desperate.

My first creditor court case is coming up in under two months. i'm happy to say that Canyon has been all over it... acquiring and dealing with the paperwork... dispatching resources to handle the courts... interacting with the plaintiffs on my behalf... all the things you expect from representation. My wife is still unconvinced, but everything on our end is signed and agreed to. I am no longer financially broken, but also not yet solvent... that part should be coming though, after many more debtors and resolution meetings.
To date I am very satisfied, and their transparency has been reassuring and professional.

I spoke with Tammy (I hope I spelled that correctly!) today and she was delightful! She was awesome! Friendly, courteous, understanding, and patient. She quickly resolved my initial issue of updating my banking account and I was able to complete my first check in call being a new customer with her as well (been meaning to do that for 2 weeks). Being new to the program, she really put me at ease as I've been anxious about what I've been seeing within my account and how things progress and she had an answer for every question.
