In terms of speed of delivery, Capital Wholesalers are just outstanding. It's really impressive how quickly they can turn an order around for next day delivery, even in the run-up to Christmas. Also the products are for the most part wonderful - bigger and better than you'd get elsewhere. One of my items was past it's use-by date, but still looked perfectly fine. A few items weren't available and I was refunded for these promptly, although I was a bit confused as one email made me think there'd be a second delivery containing the missing items.

I ordered clementines from capital wholesalers to be delivered to a school for Christmas class parties. The school reported that the lovely orange smell wafted around the building! Communication and delivery excellent. Thank you Ali.

Been getting fresh produce + groceries/household items since lockdown1. 100% reliable deliveries. Always responds to DM's and if it takes 36 hours, that's perfectly acceptable to me under these circumstances. No quibble if something was missed off the order, to refund. And because this is all fresh produce, no pre-packs/chlorine-washed/selected for size, yes at times something may not be up to the sanitised supermarket version we're all more familiar with..that honesty is also perfectly acceptable to me. One of those lovely, consistently great service, local companies.

Not received and no one answers my queries

So my first time ordering from capital...
My order was 3days late!!! The £10 of 1st order code did not work I called them and they said place your order and we will refund your £10 this did not happen!!!
I ordered candy beetroot and golden beets 2kg they had put normal beetroot in with the mix!! Most of it was normal beets i had only 3 tiny candy beets so my candy canapes were not on my menu... so had a very angry customer... I emailed instantly but NO response!!! Also every single one of tomatoes was split and bruised they cost £17.. (what a waste of money) I am completely and utterly Disappointed with capital....

Their food is nearly always of good quality and delivered within a couple of days. The one problem they have is mistakes in the orders. Three out of an order of twenty things. Dunno if it’s COVID, Brexit or whatever but I’ve never had a mistake with Tesco and many with CW. I’ll still buy off them as I’d rather support small companies but couldn’t they get someone checking orders before they go out?

Good quality food and delivered when they said they would. We had a mix of products from dairy to veg to cleaning products and all reasonably priced.

Half my items where missing from the order and it is impossible to get through to anyone to rectify the problem. Definitely do not order from capital

First Class products and excellent personal attention. Very much appreciated.

Appalling. Wasted £90. Ordered on Tuesday and delivered at 5.30 on Friday. Ignored all my messages. 11 kg of carrots not delivered. Ordered three boxes of heritage Isle of Wight tomatoes and received one box of poorly packed French tomatoes. Majority were over ripe or squashed. Perhaps 40% were usable. Bananas in fruit box were rotten so went straight on the compost heap. Veg box pathetic. I would not have spent my money on anything that was delivered in a shop because it was pretty much all past its best and would normally have been in the heavily reduced section . By the way this food was for my daughters wedding. Ignoring all my messages and sending such cruddy produce add up to the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. Be warned
