I bought my Halo hoover back in July 2024 after reading all the hype! It has been OK but I just can’t push it over carpeted floors…I am just not strong enough. I have never had this issue with any o... See more

Just too heavy to use.
Don’t believe any of the claims the Halo capsule X is absolutely useless
We are not spending any more time with this or trying to contact Halo themselves and we’re taking it straight to the rubbish tip so at least it takes it out of circulation
Goodbye and good riddance
Never ever again
Vacuum went wrong after 5 months. Called customer services and on hold for 15 minutes. I explained the issue and had to email with the details. Sent the email and got back a trouble shooting list. Had to call again as these measures didn't work as they didn't respond to the email. I asked for a call back but received an email instead! They will not talk to you to discuss the issues and advise the next steps. It all has to be via email which they do not respond to. Waiting yet again for an email to confirm when/if a replacement will be sent. Already looking for another vacuum from another supplier as I do not have any confidence this will be resolved.
Good machine when working, lousy after sales / tech support when not. Brush head failed, listed on their website but "out of stock" only suggestion from Halo "buy another complete unit" Just over 2 years old, I am not going to buy a new machine when a £49.00 accessory / part is all that is needed.
Unable to buy any parts since their customer desk is unable to provide any information at all!!
Parts such as brush rolls should be common as chips . If they cant supply simple wear parts surely they should not be allowed to sell machines at all? Happy to take your money though!
Shame since I have been a fan for many years with no issues previously
It's a very good vacuum but there's one problem spares availabilty. We have had the cleaner refurbished once due to a faulty on/off switch. This has now happened again and can't get a new switch from Halo or from any supplier, so vacuum no good just because of switch.
Will not pay to have ckeaner refurbished again at £129 just for a switch .
I ordered hoover bags for my halo Hoover after three phone calls and an attempt to find out where these hoover bags were. I was told they were on their way 3 times but now I’m told they’ve got none in stock and I haven’t had any in stock for awhile so they will never gonna be coming in those three weeks which I’m absolutely disgusted about as I was promised faithfully
I would like to write a nice review, but as it hasn't been delivered yet I can't.
I ordered and paid for mine on 27th August. I received a confirmation that day and another on 29th August.
On 9th Sepetember I emailed them asking about my order. the next day I got a replay saying that orders are dispatched 5 - 7 working days.
I've waited 15 working days and still don't have a vacuum.
This is THE BEST vacuum I have ever owned, I love it, far outshines all other cordless models which spit out all the bits after a while, this picks up everything and get right up to the skirting boards. Having the bags is a plus as no dust collects round the filters it’s so easy to change the bags
It is quite heavy but that’s the only downside which I can live with
I have both carpets and laminate and it works well on both equally
Battery life is not good I have two off these one upstairs and one down the one down I hax 3 batteries and they get worse after a month and they are not cheap. I would not buy again.
Bought a halo vac used it on my laminate floor took some of it of was not happy so phoned them up to get a refund and told them about what had happend to my floor said they was nothing they could do about that lam disgusted with them Dont buy one of these vacs over priced and destroys your floor
I bought my capsule less than a year ago.
Since then I’ve had a new battery, a new charger and a new brush head.
Basically the whole item except for the capsule dust collection part and the hose!
I’ve now asked for a refund as I need to vacuum regularly.
I have been promised they will collect the item from me this week but having sent two reminders to them I’ve heard nothing.
They asked me to send it in the original packaging 🙄
I live in a tiny house so no I don’t have it.
Absolute rubbish!!!!
Don’t waste your money.
I’ve bought a shark
Almost 4 weeks ago the brush on my Halo vacuum broke. I contacted Customer Services as it is under warranty and they arranged to send a replacement. Unfortunately, since then I still haven't received my replacement. I have had to constantly chase this and investigate what has happened myself. The courier service advised me that Customer Services incorrectly labelled the replacement and it awas sent to another address (address provided). Customer Services say they have to investigate this as obviously they never made the mistake.
What is annoying me here is that I have proven to Customer Services that the replacement was never delivered. Someone has messed up , whether it is them or the courier. Either way I don't particularly care....but Customer Services refuse to send me another replacement until they have investigated this matter further. So I've been without a working vacuum for 4 weeks now while they try and get their act together finding out who messed up my delivery. Really not impressed. Send me a replacement and sort your internal problems out in your own time.
Returned vac. Could not contact company by phone or email. Money not returned.
Have bought 3 Halo vacs ( extended family) - excellent cleaner and so easy to use.
Had a problem with the brush not turning on carpet and rand for advice . Within 24 hours I’ve received a new head free of charge .
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered this for my elderly mother. It is too heavy, unsuitable and I am on my 4th email, 4th call, I have been escalated twice, still nothing. My mother has a large box waiting for collection and then a refund. Hoe long will that take with these idiots?
Don't bother buying one of these as you will never be able to experience anything that relates remotely to customer service
We’ve had the capsule x premium bundle (with2 batteries) for a couple of months now. We’ve previously owned a couple of (useless) dysons, various battery vacuums, a (very good) Miele plug in. This is easily the best vacuum we’ve owned. On full power, it’s as powerful as a good plug in, on medium it’s as effective as you need for most jobs. Battery life is good - it is very occasionally useful to have the second battery if you want to do the whole house. The various heads make sense, all work really well, and the storage system is brilliant. Bags last for ages and changing is easy and clean. Bags means no loss of suction, and no need to clean filters. HEPA filtration is very reassuring. It’s light and easy to use. We no longer use the Miele, as this is slightly more effective and more convenient. Price was good on an offer, which they always seem to have. I think we’d bulk at paying the full price, but that also applies to the other premium brands. Plus, this is apparently manufactured in the uk.
Fantastic! Much better than Dyson, I had two of them before I purchased the Halo, and the customer service is second to none. I had a problem with the light and the roller on the foot after more than a year. I emailed halo and they suggested I try the head without the long shaft, it didn’t make any difference so I emailed to say and I had a reply by return saying that a new head was in the post! I received it two days later and problem solved! Thank you so much halo -how refreshing to find a company so helpful and quick to respond.
I’m very happy with my second purchase of Halo with a new, very useful light, which comes on when cleaning!
I placed my order at 1.30 Tuesday lunch time and received it by 9.30 Wednesday morning. I can't believe it what a great service by both Halo and Fedex the courier.
I wish I’d read the reviews on here before buying as I would never have bought the halo vacuum. It’s too top heavy and doesn’t glide as well as my old Dyson. It also is not very good on my Chinese rugs. All in all I’m really disappointed especially as the reviews on good housekeeping and other magazines really rate it. I suppose if you only want to go in a straight line it works.
