Joe was my car salesman, Tim and Shina were my finance guys. Everyone during the process was extremely helpful, it took several tries to find the right car but we got there. Joe was patient and caring, he didn’t give that pushy salesman vibe that I can’t stand, he made the process better and I’m glad I came here.

I have been looking for a new car for a couple of weeks. I've been all over to many different dealers. I can honestly say these guys are by far the most professional and honest I've dealt with. I know that add ons are where the majority of the money lies. However, there was no pressure, no pushy sales guys feeding you horror stories if you didn't take up the option. Sale went through perfectly. Made me feel comfortable and welcome from the moment I walked through the door. I had travelled over 2 and a half hours to Bristol and it was so worth it. Fantastic cars at competitive prices. Hamza and the Sales Manager Doug were superb. Thanks for a smooth hasle free experience. Will certainly be recommending to friends and family.

After a couple of messages, we traveled to Bristol and instantly greeted by Roberto. He made us very welcome and gave us time to walk around the cars where we chose 3 different cars. He soon had all 3 next to each other where we were left to decide what we liked. Roberto then told us where to drive and we soon test drove a wonderful car. The paper work was made simple and we were given time to review and read the t&cs.
All was well explained and the part x on our car was very reasonable, Roberto made us aware we could take the car home on the day, we had limited time but he ensured the car would be ready. Tim had our finance package ready and we were soon ready to drive away our new car. This was simple and smooth, would fully recommend popping in to see Roberto in Bristol, very welcoming and a great sense of humour with the customers needs first and foremost!
Thank you Roberto and Tim.

Faulty car sold and returned at Bristol now being sold in Weston. Avoid like the plague!! Reg PF22NJK
On the 11/1/26 I bought a Hyundai Tucson from Car Base in Bristol. On the 12th day it developed a fault which disappeared after turning the car on and off again. It then happened on the 14th day, Sunday 25th almost causing a crash at 70mph on a dual carriageway with no hard shoulder! The fault read “pull over safely and check hybrid system” and then the car would go into limp mode. And it happened several times since then. I rang Matt from the sales dealership on this Sunday as I didn’t know where to turn. I ended up calling RAC 4pm on the Sunday, and they didn’t arrive until 7am on the Monday. They ran diagnostics which shown no fault codes, suggested it could be a software issue. Monday morning (26th) I spent 4 hours whilst at work making phone calls to Carbase sales, Carbase auto centre, multiple Hyundai dealers, local garages and didn’t get anywhere, other than a Hyundai dealership telling me it wasn’t software related as they checked the car was fully up to date. Eventually I booked an appointment with the auto centre to which the next day I got a text saying my appointment had been cancelled, no explanation given as to why it was cancelled. Then from Tuesday-Thursday I sent multiple emails to car base, over 40 phone calls and still got no where. Friday I had enough and decided to drive to Bristol (over and hour away from my house) and just wanted to give the car back to the dealership. I spent several hours on Friday going between car base sales, car base auto centre and even went to a Hyundai dealership in Bristol, yet again got no where. Eventually I sat in car base sales and said I am not leaving until I get some answers and a solution. I explained that I had spoke to several Hyundai dealerships within 40 miles of my house, and that no one could fit the car in for diagnostics until the 23rd march (way over a month away).I explained I am a carer for vulnerable adults (not that it should matter what I do for work as I would still need to get to work) and I could not, not have a car until the end of march. I was told car base didn’t have any courtesy cars but that they also weren’t advising me to drive my car. The lady in the Auto centre was less than helpful. I stressed the point if I can’t drive my car (the faulty car I was sold) and they couldn’t provide me an alternative what was I meant to do? I asked for a written statement explaining if anything were to happen as a result of me driving a faulty car they sold, that they would be help responsible but of course they didn’t want to put their name to anything.
Amazingly after several hours of sitting and waiting a courtesy car became available and I was able to leave my car at Carbase and leave with that. Fast forward, 2 weeks of my car being in their auto centre, with no follow up (yes I did try ringing, emailing) I decided to drive over to the dealership AGAIN! Upon walking into the dealership I was told to go up to the Autocentre as my car was with them. I kindly pointed out to them, no it’s not, it’s sat in your car park. Furthermore I could see that the car had not moved from their car park for 2 weeks as I can see a driving log on my Hyundai app and the miles on the car were exactly the same as I left them! So I believe my car never made it to the Autocentre in the two weeks they had, and they lied straight to my face. It was finally agreed I could give the car and back receive a refund. Fast forward another week. Having been told I would receive a phone call within 2-3 days regarding my refund, a week later I was still trying to chase up my refund. Amazingly after getting legal advice and in the process of getting my solicitor involved I received my money back. Please avoid these scam artists at all costs and go to a main dealership, I ended up going directly to Hyundai and actually got a better model, with 10,000 less miles on the clock for the same price!

Happy with the service I received. Prior to test drive the customer service was excellent. Once I had the test drive the service was still good but focused turned very much to hard sales & completing the deal. That being said Dimitrios was lovely.

The manager is telling lies just to sell cars and he is doing that with a smile on his face

We had a terrible experience with this company and with Oscar in particular. We wanted to buy a van that had some issues. Oscar said they would repair them, but because we needed the van urgently, we agreed to buy it in that condition.
The van had been with them since October, and none of the issues were disclosed before our visit. Oscar promised to update us when it was ready. For two weeks, we repeatedly called and got the same excuses. Eventually, he stopped answering our calls and emails. When we contacted a colleague, we were told the van had already been sold.
This is completely unprofessional. We were ready to pay in full immediately and even provide a deposit, but instead, our time was wasted. Oscar could have simply said he didn’t want to sell it to us.
If you need a reliable service or are a business with deadlines, avoid this company and Oscar at all costs.
