I have been using Carbonite for many years. I have gone through several PC's built by my son and store bough. Carbonite has consistently brought all of my most important files, music and written to a new PC.
Tonight's automatic back up is reassuring of Carbonite keeping my data safe and secure.

Carbonite is a trustworthy way to back up important data. Retrieval is easy, and back-ups are automatic.

I HAVE HADCARBONITE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARSV NOW. IT HAS BEEN A MOSTLY STRESS FREE EXPERIENCE. THE TIMES I NEEDED IT, CARBONITE WAS VERY HELPFUL

Carbonite makes it very easy to automatically back up my PC, and if necessary recover individual files or an entire hard drive. Set up is fairly quick and easy. I have had the misfortune of having several hard drive crashes over the ling time I've had Carbonite, and in every case I have been able to recover all of my data sucessfully.

While it is nice to have a remote save of your work, the cost has increased enough to make you look for cheaper alternatives

It's great, backs up everything, you don't have to worry about things getting backed up. It can be a bit hard to find a single item you want to restore.

I am a speech-language pathologist and Professor Emeritus who writes textbooks (7 so far). I rely on Carbonite to be my off-site backup for all of my manuscripts.

In about 2015, Microsoft Word did an update one night, and the next day there was NOTHING on my computer. Also, for some unknown reason, there was nothing on my external hard drive. I contacted Carbonite and they were able to retrieve everything on the book manuscript that I had worked on. Thank God for Carbonite!!

My files are backed up often. Last time I purchased a new computer, I was able to download my files from Carbonite to my new computer.

I've been a Carbonite user for about 20+ years. I have used my backup 2x during that time. The first was when I moved to my new residence, which saved my backup to recover a few files. In the summer of 2019, the second was after lightning struck my house and destroyed my desktop. A complete meltdown. I bought a new desktop and downloaded my complete files containing thousands of pictures and documents and reports and emails. This was a 100% recovery after 3 days of downloading. I have recommended Carbonite to many of my resident neighbors in this senior community. Carbonite is the best.

I like that I can depend on backup with Carbonite bc I don't have to think about it. It just does its job.
