Carbonite has saved my documents on numerous occasions. I'm SO very glad I have them. Each time it was simple to reload all my saved items and I'm grateful for that, too. I'm not a techy person and the simpler, the better. I've also accidentally deleted important documents that I realized I needed later. Since Carbonite holds deleted items for 30 days, I have been able to reload that document back into existence! It's been a lifesaver! This last time (11/6/25) I had dropped my laptop with the Geek Squad for keyboard issues. They ended up resetting and wiping my entire computer. I had to reload all my apps, programs, documents, etc. Carbonite was the easiest part of the whole thing.

Have used this backup service for many years, and find it reliable, accurate, and dependable. That's why I stay with this service year after year.

When I went to renew my subscription, it somehow got charged twice. I asked them to refund one of the annual charges, they said they would just apply it to my account so I would have two year subscription. But it has never been applied to my account!!

I’ve had Carbonite for years. Got it to transfer my info to a new computer. So easy! I’m on my third computer since getting Carbonite and have transferred all my info with no problems. I like webroot too.

Always find it hard to speak to a human being

My computer guy recommended Carbonite after my computer crashed. I got Carbonite as soon as I got my new computer. Feel safe that should anything happen to my computer, my files, photos and documents are safe.

All my files are in a safe place. I bought a laptop and had all my files transferred from the desk top to my laptop and it was a great success. I feel good knowing if something happens, I can retrieve my file(s).

The representative was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. He answered my questions quickly and solved my issues.

Biggest piece of mind with your precious data! I can't even imagine my photos and data not being stored in a cloud, when a computer, hard drive or other device will eventually fail. The information is easy to view and download from the Carbonite cloud into the computer or cellphone with the app. It couldn't be any better. Thank you, Carbonite!

Excellent backup. Runs in the background and has never let me down. Much better than a SSD running of my iMac which has let me down in the past.

Software is easy to use and clearly shows which files are being backed up and which files are pending backup. I also like how easy it is to backup a file, just right click and select backup with Carbonite!
