Avoid! Disappointed 10 year old and zero care
booked the Skyline in October 2025 for the first available weekend date in 6 months' time, 26th April 2026.
I called on 23rd April to confirm and was told it was going ahead.
I happened to check my junk emails on 25th April to see that you'd sent a cancellation with less than 48 hours notice of the booking, stating 'this cars restoration and upgrades have become somewhat delayed due to parts being required from overseas.'
I immediately called up to clarify and was basically told how long is a piece of string. I pointed out that you would have known when I spoke to you 2 days before and if I hadn't checked my junk emails we would have turned up at Newbury with a very disappointed 10 year old. I asked why you didn't follow up with calling customers to make sure they know their booking is cancelled, given the email came from a different email and is most likely to go to junk, to be told there's too many people to call.
I was offered to rebook for June or have another car. I said I'd have to call my sister to check my nephews preference to be told he was there for another 15 minutes then finishing for the day (1500 on a Friday). As I started to complain you hung up the phone on me. You had also talked over me and spoke in a very patronising tone throughout. I called back and re-booked because my nephew specifically wanted the Skyline, just before you finished for the day and you pretended 'I don't know what happened to the phone line before' and called me 'lovely' over and over again, extremely patronisingly.
I have just called up (14:30 on 25th June) to confirm our re-booked date of 10:00 on 27th June. I just stated a booking for the Skyline Saturday (not when), and you said its in the workshop so wont be at Northampton this weekend. I said I had booked for Newbury not Northampton. So you are booking it out in multiple locations for the same date when you don't even have the car. You then checked my booking and said the car 'might not be likely' to be ready in time. I pointed out you'd just said it was in the workshop, so you know its not ready? You called me 'lovely' and I asked that you didn't, I am a customer not a friend. After again an extremely vague and unapologetic response, refusing to give any dates or details. You said it might be ready in time that's why you weren't cancelling yet. 'It depends how fast the mechanics work'. I asked what is happening with the car, and you said a complete rebuild. The same story I was told in April.
You called me lovely again, and I asked again for you to stop calling me that. You said sorry, its a habit. I asked again at what point are you planning to tell families as we are already less than 48 hours before the booking, and you replied, we don't have a set time. After me pushing the matter and you pretending to ask a manager, you came back to say you'd tell us tomorrow. When I asked what time we'd hear as we are making plans, again you wouldn't commit. So again, likely to be cancelling us with 12-24 hours notice. He then said its 'most likely possibly not going to be ready so we'd advise you to rebook for a later date'!
At that point I said I have zero trust in you, you've repeatedly let down a 10 year old and his families, refuse to provide information when you know how far along the alleged rebuild is, continually fail to give adequate notice when cancelling our bookings, and given we have had this 2 months ago, you should have been showing more professionalism to us this time around quite frankly.
I asked to speak to the manager as I'm raising a formal complaint to be told he wasn't available (even though you just spoke to him, allegedly) and to put it in an email. I asked for a complete refund to be told you weren't authorised to give refunds and to put it in writing to the manager. You then had the audacity to call me 'lovely' again when I told you I would be leaving bad reviews and telling the world not to book with you.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Purchased an experience for our nephew as his Xmas present in a car he has as a poster on his wall. Booked our time and location and had one very excited young lad.
Tried to confirm the booking 7 days in advance but heard nothing, called the office 48hra in advance to be told that car was never going to be ready for that date as it was in the workshop. Asked why we weren't contacted to be told they don't do that.
Re book for this coming weekend, once again email 7 days in advance, hear nothing, call 48hrs before to be told the car is in the workshop and they weren't going to tell us again.
At this point I'm thinking the car doesn't even exist and it's a young lad with ZERO customer service skills in his bedroom ripping people off.
Asked for a cancellation & full refund only to be told we have to put it in an email, I'm guessing these are the same emails they never answer.

Breach of data ???
Had a great day on 7th June and spent nearly £300, which felt worth it at the time. However, the photo package has been a complete let‑down. The images I received include someone else’s face on my photos, and despite emailing twice and calling twice, I still have no resolution.
This isn’t just disappointing, it raises serious data protection concerns. If I’ve received another customer’s images, I’m now worried that my photos, and my personal data, have been sent to someone else. After the amount I spent, I expected far better service and accountability.
Save Your Money: Unsafe, Unwelcoming and Relentlessly Money-Driven
Without question, this was the most disappointing experience I have ever paid for. Save your money, and go to trackdays.co.uk or driftlimits.co.uk instead!
My partner bought me a driving experience for my birthday, expecting an exciting day out. What we got instead was a chaotic, disorganised and relentlessly money-driven operation that seemed far more interested in extracting additional payments than delivering the experience people had already paid for.
The voucher is merely the starting point. Once booked, you're met with a constant stream of extra charges. I selected a McLaren, which cost an additional £40 on top of the voucher price. That was just the beginning.
We arrived at 9:30am as instructed and were checked in by a member of staff who, despite being mistaken herself, chose to loudly and publicly belittle my girlfriend in front of other customers. An embarrassing and unnecessary start to the day.
The next stop was another tent where we were required to hand over a further £38 "damage deposit" and subjected to yet more upselling. At every stage there seemed to be another opportunity for them to ask for more money.
By 9:45am we were fully checked in and ready to go. The booking system suggested I would be driving the McLaren within 20 minutes and my second car within 40 minutes.
By midday, I hadn't driven a single car.
For over two hours the system continued to tell me I was "20 minutes away" from driving. The estimates appeared completely meaningless – a masterclass in over-promising and under-delivering.
Eventually my name was called and I was directed to a waiting area consisting of camping chairs beside the track. After yet more waiting, I asked what was happening and was casually informed that the McLaren was in the mechanics.
Nobody told me.
Nobody offered an alternative.
Nobody apologised.
Instead, they simply left me sitting there indefinitely while a queue built up behind me for the same car.
When the McLaren finally became available, I was struck by how poor its condition was. The interior was filthy, with heavily stained cream seats that looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in months. It was a far cry from the "premium" supercar experience being advertised.
The instructor did little to improve matters. Having never driven a car like this before, some guidance and encouragement would have been appreciated. Instead, I was repeatedly snapped at and spoken to in a manner that made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
The most astonishing moment came during the only brief opportunity I had to accelerate properly. While travelling at speed, the instructor leaned over and attempted to sell me an additional lap for £20.
At that moment, making a sale appeared to be a higher priority than allowing me to concentrate on driving safely.
When I declined, his attitude deteriorated further. As I manoeuvred the car back into an area occupied by pedestrians, other drivers and children, he continued making dismissive comments about my driving while telling me I should have paid for a "sightseeing lap".
By that stage, I genuinely no longer wanted to continue with the day.
However, having travelled all the way from London, I waited for my second driving experience. By 1pm, the system was still claiming I was only 20 minutes away from driving, despite the second car also apparently being in the mechanics.
After waiting over three and a half hours for what amounted to only a few minutes behind the wheel, we finally gave up and left.
Perhaps most concerning of all were the apparent safety standards. Children were driving high-performance vehicles while sitting on makeshift sofa cushions to reach the pedals. No crash helmets were provided. Members of the public wandered through areas where vehicles were actively moving, while inexperienced drivers attempted to park powerful cars in close proximity to pedestrians and other supercars. Meanwhile, instructors appeared more focused on upselling additional laps than maintaining focus on safety.
It felt chaotic, poorly managed and unnecessarily risky.
We subsequently raised our concerns directly with UDrive and Car Chase Heroes. Their response was effectively indifference. Rather than addressing the issues raised, they appeared entirely unconcerned and even welcomed negative reviews.
What should have been a memorable birthday experience became an expensive lesson in disappointment. We spent over three and a half hours waiting for a few minutes of driving and left feeling frustrated, disappointed and thoroughly ripped off.
If you're considering a driving experience, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
I was lucky - mild fun
I was lucky - mild fun. I had a 1 car Classic Car Blast from Virgin and booked the Shelby Cobra in Abingdon, 12-2pm. The booking was a nightmare, and no ticket email confirmation. Lucky I printed screenshots. Checkin was a series of queues. Then told to wait to be called, which means standing by the pit lane and listening to a flakey PA system.
By 1pm, I chose to walk in and ask why I hadn't been called yet and immediately got seated. 15 mins later, after the rain, got into the Cobra. You are not allowed to actually drive it! Instructor changes the gears for you and puts it into 5th for the whole parade. I paid for double distance which means just 4 lame laps. Yes it was mild fun, but certainly not what was sold and cost me, the recipient, more than the value of the purchased experience (surcharge, insurance, photos etc -all needed or uphold).
Expect a long wait and don't book in the afternoon
We attended today at the abingdon track. We were asked to arrive at 2.30pm which we did however didn't get to drive the car until 5.30pm and the second car at 5.50pm. Then without our and many other angry customers, car chase announced that the track closes at 6pm, and therefore those who didn't get the drive would get a refund or have to come back another date. In our deal was a high speed passenger drive which we missed due the 6pm cut off. It's clear that they overbook it and one instructor even said, it happens every time that they have to turn people away. The event is not well managed, very chaotic, too many people and not organised enough. It's a shame as the cars were awesome but you can't expect customers to wait 3 hours to drive a car and then turn around with no notice and say sorry we have to close at 6pm. I will be avoiding this company in future and will look for other race track companies. Disappointing.
Good cars, photography was a let down
The good:
- Fantastic selection of cars.
- Great instructors who encourage you top use the cars to their full potential.
The bad:
- They dont allow you to film your own rides with your own action camera so you are forced to purchase their own photography (which was not great in my case). Furthermore, on the day that I visited, the videos didn't work so I could not look at nor purchase them. That added further insult to injury to the fact that I couldn't use my own camera.
- Wait times. I typically had to wait ~1hr between rides.
Be ready to wait more than 3 hours and…
Be ready to wait more than 3 hours and counting from the time they ask you to arrive. Been here over 3 hours and still waiting for only 1 drive the given time was over an hour ago it’s ridiculous bad organised and unacceptable be honest with what you sell! And yes still waiting….
Drive good. Everything else poor!
The initial arrival good. Checked in quickly. Then came the waiting around! Initial time slot was 2pm turns out what this actually ment was between 2 and 4pm. The drive it self was good. Then the queue for the media tent was awful. Waited 1/2 hour then told they still weren’t ready come back in another 20 mins. Then we were told no videos and they’re having trouble. Staff were all friendly enough with plenty of apologies but didn’t help get us the videos. After driving at 6 hour round trip, we left feeling a bit disappointed. Probably wouldn’t bother again.
Not the virgin experience I had hoped…
Not the virgin experience I had hoped for, they emailed me a few days before to say the mustang had failed safety checks and the V8 capri would take its place, not a problem although while waiting I could see another mustang in service so why could I not transfer to that one? Also when paying for the insurance I paid by cash but they did not have any change in the cash tin and still did not have any change when I finished - is this a common occurrence? It's not how small the amount is it's the principle. The chap taking me around had a terrible attitude with me and i could tell he didn't really want to shake hands with me and due to my experience with him I did not want to drive any other cars and just left. I do not wish to return.

Absolutely loved my day
Absolutely loved my day. great value for money. I though it was amazing how no nonsense it is and the availability to upgrade and add on cars. With a pocket full of money I could and would happily spend the whole day here.

Had an experience as a birthday gift from my husband and went to Lichfield. Absolutely brilliant morning from start to finish. The facilities were great. A guy told us where to park , there were food and drink facilities and loos. A tent was provided where we could wait in the dry for our turn and it was very well organised. My car was the Ferrari 599 and the instructor was Barry. He was the best !! Gave me clear guidance on the track and made me feel totally relaxed. He encouraged me to put my foot down and I enjoyed it so much I bought extra laps in the car as I didn’t want to get out !! Great experience would deffo do it again. Thanks Barry and the team

What an incredible experience in Litchfield
What an incredible experience from start to finish! The booking process was simple and straightforward, making everything easy to arrange. On the day, the atmosphere was fantastic, with food and drink available throughout, plus an ice cream van which was a nice touch.
The driving experience itself was absolutely brilliant. I got behind the wheel of the Camaro ZL1 Bumblebee, Ariel Atom 3, McLaren 570S GT4, and a Roush Mustang – each car offered something completely different and was an absolute thrill to drive. The instructors were knowledgeable, encouraging, and helped build confidence while making sure everyone had a great time.
A special mention goes to Tony and Paul, who were both fantastic throughout the day. Their enthusiasm, professionalism, and friendly attitude really helped make the experience even more enjoyable.
To top it all off, I finished with a high-speed passenger ride, which was an adrenaline-filled way to end an amazing day.
I even ended up purchasing some additional packages on-site because I was enjoying it so much! Overall, it was a well-organised, exciting, and memorable experience. I would definitely go again and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves fast cars and motorsport.
