There are constant problems with the…

There are constant problems with the buses, really the 44, 45, 49 and 50 to Llanrhymney.

I know that there were past incidents and the council have decided to withdraw buses to the area, but at least have the buses timetabled properly, or replace the person responsible for he constant disruptions in service.

The morning buses from Central are constantly cancelled or changed enough route, around 7am, especially the 49 and 50. They appear on the bus stop screen and then disappear. It happens constantly.

This cant just be incompetence, and if it is, then replace whoever is responsible.

Buses cannot be trusted, and yet you want us all on them, to the point you dont allow builders to include parking on new build apartment blocks.

Get it together.

Getting better each year. Alot more, more to do.

Needed repairs to my council house, initial response from council was slow but once it got to the right person things were done within a few weeks. Over the past few years I've seen a gradual improvement in Council services given the limited budget they have.

Cardiff council housing 10 years I was…

Cardiff council housing 10 years I was on waiting list waiting for a 1 bed flat
and when I was made homeless because my rent in private accommodation was £800 and going up again
They took me off waiting list and put me on a homeless waiting list
Then put me In a hostel full of drugs my clothes stunk of spice and needles everywhere it was disgusting no cookers in room you had to go downstairs and eat donated food and they even had the cheek to charge people for food Which was donated
I did manage to get out in 8 months because my mental health which I've never suffered from before was rock bottom
They put me in a private rented property for 2 years and now I'm in a council flat
I should be happy I'm rehoused but the block of flats they put me in needs pulling down its disgusting run down
The properly cost to much to put right
the council won't do no repairs kids smoking weed in communal area smells of urine all the time
It's like living in a rubbish tip the girl up Stairs constantly partying always got people back till all times sniffing laughing gas loud music banging on ceiling
Reported issues constantly to council and the ASBO team but nothing gets done this is been going on for 12 months
So all that waiting for a flat was pointless because I've got to go through it all again
Back to hostel back to private rented accommodation I don't no which is worse hostel or my flat
Both not liveable
I've tryed looking for private accommodation but the rent for a 1 bed is out of my budget £900 bond 1 months rent in advance
And a about 20 people all wanting the same property
I can't get a mortgage I feel trapped
The council housing system is broken still no council houses being built private rented accommodation rent rising constantly

The waste of money and disorganisation…

The waste of money and disorganisation at Cardiff Council is frustrating. For example my daughter needs repairs to her house. Its been 8 months, there's been 6 visits from council assessors but no work done. Does it really take 6 assessments of small hallway to ascertain the job? Surely one assessment and one worker needed. All those wages paid for nothing

Disgusting tyrants

Disgusting tyrants, I have to pay £70 for a parking ticket I've never received. If you look at my record I've always paid parking tickets within the time allocated at half price. I do get parking tickets I admit, that's because they have put permit parking absolutely everywhere and you can only apply for two permits per house when they know the area in question near the Main Hospital, there are more than 2 tenants that drive per household. Disgusting tyrants.

Bullying culture…amongst council workers

Entitled to council tax reduction Said the solicitor go and apply for it, só I did. Faxist bullying council employes Said no you not entitled. Contacted the solicitor again yes you are entitled and they Will be forced to give it to you. Many Manu other people europeans and British complain about the same problem, bullying faxist culture amongst council workers and nobody does anything about it. They should loose they jobs and be forbiden to work with people ever again.
Social workers bullying and corrupt do not do they jobs instead they defend and protect other governament employes like them. They do not defend and protect vulnerable children ir people at all. Growing bullying culture and growing faxisms on Cardiff council employes.

Don't do the thing AND can't refund

Booked a bulky item collection, item wasn't collected on the day so concierge told me to put it back. I ask council for a refund, couldn't refund because would still collect tomorrow. I said tomorrow is no good. Still can't refund.
Person on the phone was nice enough but absolute crooks
UPDATE: added one star because in the end they DID it on the day, but why refuse to refund if they can't do it?

Assisted lift scheme not working.

Why is it that when I leave out my bins, general waste bin and green bin when emptied there not returned to where they were found.
Where on the assisted lift scheme, but every week neither bag is put back where found.
The ajoining property, which isn't on the assisted lift scheme, never put their bags kerbside, but their bags are collected from their property, and returned to their property.
Makes me wonder why the scheme is running.

Fourth missed bottle box collection

What is wrong with Cardiff Council? The web page tells me my street had been collected, the bottle box has not. This service is beyond diabolical. I see you give £150 fines for non compliance, pity it does not cut both ways. Get a grip please

A day out shopping in Cardiff is hard…

A day out shopping in Cardiff is hard work these days. Trains are never on time and or canceled due to the rail improvement 😂 they also cost too much. Parking for you car is costly. Now the 20mph is in play and there bus cameras on most roads I'll take my business over the 7 bridge. Sad really that a welsh family has to do this. Cardiffs not for the people anymore. Shocking to say the capital has come to this.

Refuge collections !

Refuge collections. 2 weeks ago on 22/02/24 the council started the new seperat bag collections. Like many other house holders they did not fully empty the bags (all plastic, no foreign objects, paper or other materials in my red bag but they left a load in there) so i have taken the time to watch out for their collections.
Last Monday they collected the various bags that have been waiting since 29/02/24 when they were not collected. All the rubbish was put straight into the back of the cart, bottles in the blue bin, card board in the blue bag and plastic in the red bag!! u was not amused since i had meticulously separated all.

Today 09/03/24 again being late they put the blue neighbours bags with the red bags (mine included) into the same cart!

IF i or anyone else mixes the waste then we do (family have told me) will get threatening letters from the council that they will not collect the waste.
While i am complaining about them, my mother who is registered blind has NEVER had her rubbish collected from by her front door, she has the orange diamond stickers on her bins (green & black) registered for 5 yrs plus so we have to go there and put her bags out on the pavement for her.
I wait for the repercussions from the council as there will be.

Takes away your human rights

Takes away your human rights to live in peace, family life, private life and rights to housing , by putting cameras up telling you your not allowed home or family visits or friends visiting without getting permission from them first , then they send tyrants to your home with threats to try extort monies for not getting permission, if you work for them you don’t need permission to enter these streets, they also threatened to steal your property ie car belonging to try intimidate you into compliance, Paul orders also refuses to answer your complaints and defaults on charges told to him and not rebutted ,council tyrants are now taking over our human rights and restricting your rights for financial gain under the guise of public safety, human rights means nothing neither does common law jurisdiction.
They think legal is law 😂 , legal needs consent law doesn’t, told them blacks law dictionary can enlighten them but I believe they know exactly what the difference is but as there a for profit corporation you think they can scam people to believe there law , haven’t had family or friends visit for 4 years due to there tyranny and abuse on my family.
To me there just criminals and hide behind legal because they know without thousands of pounds to fight them you have no rights and they can just harass anyone they choose , police won’t do nothing complaints don’t do nothing and legal aid is not allowed to fight these legalised criminals

A mess.

the missed waste collections are getting ridiculous. They have missed our street AGAIN but have done all of the surrounding area and will not come back until the 24th nov (if they remember)- the street is full of rubbish, the streets haven't even been cleaned and are a mess, there are roadside bins over flowing, pot holes every where, and the council do not care. I dont see why we should pay full council tax for jobs not being done. you try and make a complaint and each department blame each other.
