City of Cardiff Council Reviews 

Just heard looking to use Principality Stadium next year let's hope they don't use it then Cardiff council won't be able to scam thousands of motorists by their unfair parking system. Stay away from Cardiff City Centre

Incompetent planning and management of city affairs. My property is on Main Cowbridge Road East. 4 Years ago, traffic used to flow fluently. Without any regards of road users, Road congestions are created intentionally by using unnecessary long traffic signal delays.

Cardiff council made plans to waste tax payers money on wasted projects which are useless and create hassles for residents.

Contracts are awarded to resurfac roads which were in good conditions and of good quality. Now after two years, these are in terrible state of repair and not maintained. Surface water does not flow and even after some continous rain gutters get blocked and create puddles all across the road. Highway maintenance takes ages to react to any complaint.

Cardiff council conducts consultations in the name only, disregards any concerns the residents have and does whatever they want to do and are completely out of touch with the reality.

Cardiff council filled with racist bias keep sending threatening letters saying I owe them money like mafia. I don’t owe them anything. Besides that keep getting criminals to go around targeting random innocent citizens taking pictures of their chosen target then stealing their id exploiting the private Information to target their victims later on which is illegal. crimes taking place in Cardiff wales. Cardiff council are run by Nazis and need to stop their mafia mentality. I guess they need money for their drugs which is why they are desperate to rob everyone

On many levels a disgusting service level with absolute disdain for the people they are supposed to serve. Outrageous waste of public money too. Oh, and the grandstanding. Nice work if you can get it. Parking, the parks, the roadworks, policing, environment and education... All fails. Here''s one - during the pandemic they kept the double-decker buses running, empty... Another? They spent £500,000 on pavement improvements around a school, wasting money at every turn by mismanaging the project, taking twice as long as it should have as they worked 3 or four hours a day so as not to disturb the kids BUT they NEVER worked during the school holidays... You figure... to enable kids to walk or scoot to school... What about the pavements the kids will have to walk on to get to school, I don't see works ongoing across all of Cardiff's pavements and scooting on the pavement is controversial and really ought not to be encouraged. They said the pavements were too narrow (they were standard) and now the pen pushers have gone and made them single file by putting massive planters on them with the intention of having kids roadside gardening. You really could not make this up...

Pathetic council intent on driving cars out of city by installing cycle lanes which a very small minority use during fair weather.
The council's actions have created traffic congestion
They are artificially trying to create this to introduce congestion charging no doubt

People of Cardiff you like millions pay taxes, you are having to pay £230 per night to keep a migrant, syrian, and afgan people in hotels. Don't let your council abuse your rights when we have our own people living on streets this winter. It's not about hate it's about choices, and we should not be burdened by thses illigal people. They will affect how you get hospital appointments doctors and come April another huge increase in council tax. If your a Christian reading this all I say to you is feel free to take in a family at your own exspence please. Cardiff think about your children and services which you cannot have due to these people jumping the waiting lists. Support Wales and our own homless.

I unfortunately had the need to contact different departments in my local council which is Cardiff.
I have never before experienced such inept and incompetent people.
Coupled with a total lack of integrity in all departments.
These are children services regarding reporting child abuse.
Which unfortunately still occurs to date.
With the mentioned services stating nothing is wrong here.
Whom refused to listen to recordings of the abuse.
Anti social behaviour depot.
What a waste of tax payers money.
Totally useless and basically tell lies to cover up their incompetence.
Again recordings offered but refused to listen to them.
Noise pollution what a bunch they are again a waste of our money .
Similar story regarding recordings which they were not interested in .
But they along with the asbo gang are joined at the hip and all were unreliable in telling any truth at all.
Instead they ignored vast amount of evidence and fabricated a story to cover up for their lack of any action and incompetence.
Then closed us down by not corresponding stating the cases were closed
Which was a ploy by all departments involved.
Whom colluded with each other .
This which was brought to the attention of the Councils Cabinet members and CEO.
Whom not one member of the cabinet replied.
But the CEO stated he would investigate.
Replied with a lot of falsehoods regarding all of the above.
Whom showed they have no integrity and fabricated their false hoods around what really happened.
Cardiff City Council and those departments are all inept and incompetent at what they are paid handsomely with our money to carry out.
Whom have left children to be abused and others to be harassed.
By their tenant ignoring all the vast evidence available.
This corruption from staff to the top you would think impossible.
But I have the evidence available that supports all I have stated.
They are shameless and should not be employed at all a joke.

You would think with the issues involved small children and the asb .
The authority would be keen to do there duty.
But the shocking truth they are just unbelievably worried about being portrayed for the incompetent imbeciles they are.
I have contacted the NSPCC regarding the children and that is ongoing.
But please do not put your faith in these people all untrustworthy and totally no integrity .
Whom lie to try and cover their failures up.

This has to be the most inefficient and least cost effective Council in existence. I dare not go public with my thoughts - I would end up in gaol. Suffice it to say do not expect any level of intelligence, helpfulness, co-operation or even common sense out of them.

Waste collection
I am in my 60s and disabled, in March this year I was assessed and eligible for assistance from the council to collect my household waste from my front door- "assisted lift " The council are incapable of providing ,continuity of this service. I have written to them, made complaints, involved my local A.M. The ombudsman. I've had assurances from senior managers of the council, but it's just bull**** Because they cannot collect rubbish and recycling bags on a weekly basis from my front door, because I'm disabilities. I must have spoken to everyone on the telephone in the waste department of the council and my experience of them all individually is non of them care.

Money making industry. No regards to providing good services for council tax payers.
Schools: low standard. Better off sending your kids to private schools.
Parks: Poor state. Not enough for children to do and enjoy. Booking pitches for football is too expensive. No wonder kids are turning to crime.
Leisure Centres: Too expensive! Why would someone want to use the gym for example for £5 when they can enjoy a kebab for that much? Leading people to become obese with poor health and putting pressure on the NHS.
Police: Extra tax being paid for police commissioner. Why? Police don't bother investigating or charging "small" crime. Excuse? not enough resources. What is council doing? Instead of installing cameras to stop crime they are wasting tax money to install cameras to spy on motorists so any if motorist makes an honest mistake they are sent £35 PCN. Council uses that money in turn to give big bonuses to their bosses.
Roads: Crumbling: instead of resurfacing the roads the council is putting up road humps in the name of road safety. That leads to slow moving traffic and causes traffic jam. This gives rise to ROAD RAGE after motorists sitting in traffic for hours on end.
Who puts traffic lights on roundabouts? The whole point of having a roundabout it so the traffic is flowing smoothly and there are no traffic jams. But no the dumb asses sitting in the council think its a very good idea putting lights everywhere even where there is no need! Council has the worst traffic planners in the whole country maybe in Europe and the rest of the world.

From the lack of attention given to areas that are off the main road (rubbish, poorly maintained parks, overflowing bins etc.) Rediculously obtuse and contradictory waste laws (took two and a half months to actually get some general waste bags) To the frivilous way in which it spends tax payer's money at the end of the tax year (take a look around at some of the rediculous sculptures) these guys need to get priorities sorted.

After a very poor service from a private waste contractor I've recently moved my waste collections to Cardiff Council. The officer that visited my buisness as very helpful and saved me money on my collections. I didnt realise Cardiff Council carried out commercial waste colllection and at such a good price. The service im now receving is fantastic.
