Car salesman was great and got me in a car and I love it
Overpriced and bad warranty coverage
Bad credit, yes it’s a good place to get a vehicle. The vehicle prices are high because they include a warranty. The warranty sucks, so my advice to anyone is not buy a car here unless you have been denied at multiple other places. You pay more and get crap to sum it up. If they and I mean “if” they cover something under warranty it’s going to be with more crap. They will find the absolute lowest value replacement to replace the warranty item. Chances are you will have a vehicle from them that won’t last long and you will pay a premium price for it. If you have been denied once, go to a few more places before you go here. Trust me you will pay a lot more for junk through this company.
Car Selling
Service & Consumer experience in selling my car could not have been better
I would never buy another car here
I would never buy another car here. They really good on scamming ppl. Fiancé department is no help on explaining why my payoff about is the same amount of I was to continue making my payments. My payments ends in March and she said. In their system it says May! Really? Scammers!
The staff was great!!
The staff was great! Helped me get a car faster than most places. Paige and Lucas were very helpful with getting my car fixed and back to me within a few days! Would definitely recommend and purchase another vehicle from them.

Don't ever buy a car from them there cars have high mileage and there in terrible condition
Everyone was great
Everyone was great! Candice and everyone helped me. They even let me trade up when I realized the car I had originally purchased had a really bad transmission. They all treated me with great respect and helped me out with my Grandson. They LISTEN and HEAR what you have to say and I APPRECIATE that GREATLY!
If I could give zero stars i would
If I could give zero stars i would. I've bought and paid off 2 cars and will not be going back. Not sure why I was denied this time and I'm getting no answers on why. Where did yall lose your customer service???
Think twice about carhop in Auburn
I love the fact that they help people with bad credit but the fact that you don't admit when your in the wrong of selling something to someone. I had wore out brakes and got into an accident 6 days later. But you would only cover the parts and not the labor? Why? You should of covered everything I got into an accident because you all gave me a car with wore brakes and just didn't want to be responsible for this and now making my life a living hell while I can't even drive it since I can't pay almost 1,200 to fix it for the labor and make the payments for the car and take care of my three girls. It's not right and the carhop in Auburn know this and this is how they get people and treat them after nice at first then not after. All I wanted was either them fixing the car no cost to me or give me a different one but no the way my credit is they gave me that and won't help other than covering the parts? So yea
These people at this place knowingly…
These people at this place knowingly ripped my son and I off. They sold us a car with a bad catalytic converter we talked to them within 7 Days about this car and they talked us into keeping it saying they would have it fixed ASAP. Three times we took it into the shop leaving us without any transportation and three times it came back unrepaired. We have begged for help. And they want us to leave our only transportation in a shop for possibly weeks on end. I have throat cancer and that's only the beginning. at 64 years old with cancer I have to work 7 days a week and I don't get to eat all of those days.. these people are heartless they are horrible I cannot believe any human being would be this terrible. I highly recommend going anywhere else and I mean anywhere else. This place needs to be shut down.
This place is WEIRD
I went in with my 17-year-old daughter because she passes it on her way to work every day and one of their cars had caught her eye. They had two people working at the lot. A middle-aged woman and a young man sat next to each other in one central cubicle, despite there being several unoccupied desks around the office. I let them know what vehicle we were interested in and the woman said something to the effect of, “They’re unlocked. Knock yourself out.” We looked at the car, which had some very obvious cosmetic problems (extremely bubbly window tint and the carpet in front of the passenger seat hastily stuffed back in after having been removed for some reason. A local shop quoted me $600-700 to replace the tint, but my daughter was still interested, so I let the staff know that we would take the car. They gave me a spiel about how this was a “buy here pay here” dealership, so I would have to go to their website for approval and come back with a pay stub. I’ve bought cars from dealers that do in-house financing before, so I didn’t think much of it, apart from the inexplicable “not so fast” vibe. I took my daughter to work and completed the application process on their website. As soon as I hit the submit button I got an automated text saying that I was approved, followed less than a minute later by a text from the rep at the dealership suggesting that I come in for a test drive. I printed out a pay stub and wrote a check for $3000 for a down payment (not required, but just what I was planning to pay anyway). Back at the dealership, the woman sat down at a computer and asked for more information that easily could have been part of the online application. For that matter, we could have done the entire application that way, just like a real dealership, instead of having me go away for 20-30 minutes. At some point, she noticed the check and told me that I would need a cashier’s check if I intended to use that for a down payment. I suggested that we just apply it as a payment unless that would change the financing terms. Then she told me about their 20%+ interest rate and the entire atmosphere of the place began to make sense. Turns out the car dealership is just a front for a predatory lending operation. I should have walked away then and there, but my daughter liked the particular trim of their vehicle more than others in the area, so instead I asked if they accepted outside financing. The sales rep/loan shark told me that they could as long as I paid their asking price plus tax. Whatever. My bank approved the loan (despite CarHop pricing it at 117% BBV) and asked me to bring in a purchase order for the vehicle (standard practice for outside financing). I called the CarHop rep to let them know we would be buying the car, since it was about 30 minutes till closing by this time, only to be told that they don’t do purchase orders. I reached out on the website to try to confirm this, but I haven’t heard back. Looks like I wasted an afternoon.
Five stars!
I really enjoyed my experience at carhop. Esmeralda was beyond nice, and SO helpful. She walked me through step by step, and her first recommendation on an SUV was a perfect for my family and I! When you don’t have the greatest credit, this is the place to go!
Today was a big headache
Today was a big headache. I had an appointment for car trade-in at 1:15pm today and didn't leave till 3pm. The African American and Latina workers that work with me today took a long time to tell me anything about the status of my trade in. They stayed in the side office a lot and we're on their phones. I was told to wait two months to try the trade in again but by that time I'll have paid of the car. I'm disappointed and upset. When I pay off the car I have from carhop I will go to a different dealership to get the car I actually want. If I could give a 0 stars review I would.

It's good very helpful goodplace to go if you have bad credit.dont expect a huge selection like online its a bit less, but if your looking for a car to just get around and don't have alot to put down and/or poor credit this is your place. The warranties are awesome. The payments a bit higher than I like but also shorter term than most car loans they do 2 year payoffs.i can also trade up to a better car once I'm 3k dollars in and I've proven I can maintain payments on a vehicle.

I went there on a referral from a friend, ive been to the local dealerships, and they were upfront about prices, these jackazz kept me there for 3 hours, and were trying to under cut me on my trade in, and push a pos Ford Escape on me, the pos didn’t even start! And said i need to come up with $2500! That pos ford!! so now I'm at a local dealership that doesn't have a reputation if azz fukun ppl out if they’re money. I guess u can say less fat women working there and smarter mechanics ( I watched) and more not so brain dead ppl there. And i must say the place stinks, you can’t even wash your hands with a busted sink in the bathroom.. all in all!! -100,000% junk dealership!!! Ill never go back!! Nor will my friends. Im blasting them everywhere!!! Con creeps

It was horrible my salesman demonte was great he went out of his way to help me in every way possible but the financing people did nothing to help me even though this was my third vehicle I was getting through you guys and my pay history is immaculate and comes directly out of my account automatically and I even had made an extra payment already y'all still wanted money down to let me get in the vehicle that I wanted after already telling me I would be able to get that vehicle since this was my third vehicle paid off that I was going to be getting through you guys and I had referred my sister 2 months prior who is getting a vehicle through you guys so no I am not very satisfied even though I went ahead and got the vehicle.
My experience with carhop today was… stellar
My experience with carhop today was excellent and exceeded my expectations. I was able to get approved with a great rate and drive my new SUV today. Phil at the Pueblo location was an awesome salesman and worked the deal as quickly as possible and made every effort to get the job done. Thanks for a great experience Phil!
Quick love the help
Quick love the help. Confident with the cars and the process. The ladies were professional.
Misleading
After being a customer with a low downpayment requirement, having awesome payment history with this company, and receiving emails saying I'm VIP, I will no longer be using this company. They required a very high down payment the 2nd time around. Very misleading as there is nothing special about being a VIP customer and obviously it doesn't matter how many times you have bought a car or how good your history is with them.

Purchased my car June 11th have had nothing but issues since about two weeks after. I took it to hotwheelz their preferred mechanic with transmission issues on September 2nd. I was finally able to pick it up on September the 23rd but not even two days later it's broke again! I'm losing hours from work without a car. Something needs done!
