It was ridiculous service
It was ridiculous service, waited for an hour and the food did come so I decided to cancel the order. By the way, we are a family of three.
Really enjoy the pasta in this place
Really enjoy the pasta in this place. It is authentic and tasty unlike lots of the chain Italian restaurants that you see around these days.
I particularly enjoyed the dish with the spinach balls. Absolutely scrumptious!
One of the worst restaurantsI have been…
One of the worst restaurantsI have been to. We went to the Cabot circus restaurant and were sat in direct sunlight so we were blinded the entire meal. I had the worst steak I have ever had. Will not be returning.
Inflation or greed?
Really disappointed in an order just received of the truffles. I buy them every year as a treat for family at Christmas. I should’ve checked the weight before I ordered and I was expecting an increase in price but this is ridiculous. This time last year the jars contained 600g of truffles for £12.95, this year they’re £10.95 for 300g. There’s inflation and then there’s taking the Micky.
The food quality is lower and lower
The food quality is lower and lower. It wasnt that bad 3 years ago. Please do something
Terrible Service
Terrible Service at The Mall, Cribbs Causway, Bristol., waited over 50 minutes to get the food to the Table. People were complaining throughout the restaurant and even getting up to walk out of the restaurant. Complained to the Manager and got 20% off the bill but would rather have paid full price and got our meal on time.
Rude service sadly at St
Rude service sadly at St. Pancras Station, and absolutely no care. Just had a carbonara and I can honestly say it is the worst I have ever had. Dry and bland. Very sad as I used to live this restaurant.
Awfully Ill after Eating at Carluccio's
We went to Carluccio's and 3 out of 4 of us had food poisoning after we ate there! The only one who didn't had a vegan meal. I was so ill I had to take time off work the other two are retired. The meal felt rushed and like they couldn't wait to get us out of there as we were the last ones in the restaurant. The vegan meal was tiny compared to the other portions. I would never eat there again! I made an online complaint and no one bothered to get back to me. When I felt better which was 5 days later, I phoned and they got a 3rd party to investigate but they said it was all OK and we could have a virus. I don't think so! We don't all live together either. Very suspicious that 3 out of 4 were ill who had meat and seafood dishes. In my opinion, it was a terrible experience, I would avoid at all costs.
Top Waitress Service
I met up with 3 friends for lunch today at Bluewater; it was a special occasion. The food was good and the environment pleasant. Our waitress was excellent and particularly helpful with one of our group's special dietary needs. Thank you Megan, we all really appreciated your attention to detail.
Not worth the money
Had the worst meal ever asked for my steak to be well done when it arrived it was rare they took it back but my partner had finished their meal by the time mine came back. It was the worst bit of steak I have ever had and definitely not worth £45.70. My partner’s lasagna was dry and tasteless I think they put all the garlic on the potatoes that were on my plate the taste and smell was overpowering so not pleasant. I would not recommend this place in Bluewater nor would I return. I’m all it was overpriced and not good. Would have scored zero if it was possible.
The food wasn't good
The food wasn't good. The thin tuna steak was very overcooked and therefore tough. Some of the lettuce leaves had turned black and slimy. The croutons at the bottom of the plate were stale and tough. There was just1 anchovy (not anchovies as stated). I asked for the eggs to be cooked at little longer which it wasn't, so the cold yolk running everywhere wasn't to my liking. Others in my party were equally dissatisfied with tough calamari, over-salty pasta dishes and overcooked pasta.
On a positive, the environment was lovely, the restaurant was clean and the waitresses were efficient.
Im afraid that after being customers for many years, our group were so disappointed that we probably won't be returning.
Carluccios at Fenwick Bentalls…d
Carluccios at Fenwick Bentalls Kingston.
Food poisoning.
I have eaten here many times over the years with no problem and handy for Bentalls.
However on a recent visit I picked up a very bad case of food poisoning.
I reported it to them and received a letter from a third party,so called experts in every area that one is likely to complain about.
Who came up many reasons why my food poisoning couldn’t have been due to eating Carluccios.
Which I could have proved quite easily, but after looking into the group that has bought them out of administration.
I decided they probably wouldn’t be around long enough to prove it.

Poor staff attitude at Chichester
Booked to eat lunch at the Chichester branch. We walked in and staff could not be bothered to move to speak to us - just said ditbwhere you like. Restaurant was very hot and being unimpressed with the staff attitude we left without ordering anything.

My friend and I went to Carluccios as we had walked away from Cote. The writing was on the wall from the beginning! I asked for lime and soda - told no soda!! Asked for white wine spritzer - no soda, so opted for a prosecco! We asked for 2 minute steaks and was told they only had 1! I then opted for the lasagne that was nearly £13 without any accompaniment. It was rather tasteless and I had to season myself. My friend had the steak but she said it tasted like it had been boiled!
One experience is more than enough!

Bluewater
Bluewater, Kent.
Sunday lunch, just opened, not busy.
Half the beer on the menu not available, half the starters not available, I’m talking “Olives” not too taxing.
Pasta dish dry, salad dry, both tasteless.
Service poor, I even had to go on a search for Parmesan cheese as it wasn’t offered with my main.
In hindsight I should of sent it back, email sent to HQ to complain but no response.
I’ve been a regular visitor to different branches for years but the “Bluewater” restaurant is extremely poor.
Will no be around much longer
We used to frequent the restaurant in Walton on Thames on a regular basis being our first choice in the neighbourhood for simple food cooked well. The vegetarian antipasta for two was our usual starter. This was not on the menu anymore so had to plead for them to remove the meat from the mixed version. I asked for a generous helping of caperberries. When it arrived there it was mostly green beans, one artichoke portion, two slices of courgette, four olives and a crispy poppadum type bread - no caperberries, no focaccia like there used to be. Called the waitress back and she said there were no caperberries. So why didn't she say that when she brought the meal to the table or come back before then to tell us and ask if we still wanted that option? She brought the manager over and she re-iterated that there were no caperberries and refused to get any from the jars of them in the retail section. At least she got one more artichoke, 2 more bits of courgette and few olives.
The salad mains were pretty atrocious too. The lettuce was browning at the stalks and the feta cheese salad was mostly barley. I asked for a rare tuna steak but when it came it was so thin there was no chance of it being cooked rare. Again the waitress should have said something when I ordered that it wasn't actually a steak - more like a thick slice of ham.
To cap it all the waiters were playing softball amongst the few customers and even had to retrieve the ball from under my seat. Absolutely no respect. The last time I saw this kind of behaviour was when I saw Safeways staff playing football in the aisles with a tin of beans. They closed down a few months later.
A real let down, never to be repeated
We have enjoyed eating at Carluccio’s for years and recently had a marvellous meal at the Stratford upon Avon restaurant. So, a couple of weeks later, in Leamington Spa, we decided to repeat the experience and have the same starter and main course.
My 3 arancini balls were half the size of the previous meal, and for the price, an absolute disgrace. But it was the sea bass that was the real let down. This was a sorry tiny looking piece of fish that looked as though it had been put in oil that was not hot enough. In comparison with our previous meal, the tomato salsa was tasteless and the fennel was large chunks rather than finely sliced. All together not a very refined meal is how I would best describe it, the sort of meal you get at some greasy cafe. Clearly, the chef that cooked this was not at the same level and this meal should not have gone out. We were asked by the waitress if everything was okay and we gave our honest feedback and why, and we got the feeling she already knew it was an awful meal she had delivered. We very rarely complain in restaurants and prefer to vote with our feet and not go back. Without asking, the main course was deducted from the bill, which we appreciated. Unfortunately though, we feel the chain has gone downhill recently, and will not be retuning for fear of a repeat of this experience.
Carluccios Wimbledon Village
I visited Carluccio's in Wimbledon Village for breakfast a couple of months ago. The food was good, the service was great - Luke (if i remember the name well) was very attentive and stopped for a little chat, which was very pleasant. Enjoyed the whole experience very much, so thank you to the team in Wimbledon Village for making this a lovely experience for us (it was in fact my other half's b.day :) ) !!
Over £60 wasted on poor quality and service
Had lunch at Carluccios Richmond Saturday 9 April
Poor service and quality.
Main came while we were just starting the starters.
We didn’t get the Amoretto we ordered but we’re charged for it although to be fair it was credited when we pointed this out. Food luke warm. Service sloppy.
After spending over £60 vowed never to use Carluccios again
I have always loved Carluccio's but now.....
I have always loved Carluccio's and have been going for years...I have one very local to me....The only point I would like to make here is that instead of PROGRESSING as most other restaurants are doing, they appear to be REGRESSING; I am a vegan and their vegan croissants have actually been taken OFF the menue, and their delicious Caponata, which I've had many times and was vegan, now has had goat's cheese ADDED!! This is going against what is happening just about EVERYWHERE ELSE! They, and their staff, seem to be oblivious to this massive global movement... do they not watch the ad's on tv? PLEASE don't continue to disappoint those of us who love you but can no longer come...
