This company is GBK as well. Terrible service the horrid man tried to blame the Uber eats driver for stealing food from a sealed bag. Poor service will never use again. Cold food, and half. Issuing and terrible service

I have been to Carluccios in Colchester many tiMes and have always had a good meal so weeks ago I booked at table for lunch on Boxing Day. Today I received a phone call to say they have decided to close for the day - great!!!! Less than a week to go and I now have to search for an alternative. The person who called said “I guarantee you will get somewhere else”. Bloomin cheek, they can’t even guarantee to honour their own bookings let guarantee it somewhere else. What a terrible way to treat their clients!

The reason I haven't given 5 stars is:
Tables too close to other diners. Staff not wearing masks. Table on top of busy walkway.
Won't be dining here again unless table spaced.

On Thursday the 25th I placed a substantial order on the Carluccio website as the website said it could take five days to process orders and these were to be Christmas gifts. No mention was made on their website of any pending Black Friday Sale, which most sites do. Today Friday they announce the sale. I contacted them making these points and asked that in the interest of good customer relations would they apply the discount. I received nothing but curt unapologic replies. This is order #109240. Now I see that they made a point of shipping my order before the beginning of their Black Friday 20 percent discount so that I would not be able to cancel the order and reorder with the discount. Astonishingly petty for a large organisation. Beware, and protect yourself if you choose to deal with them.

Carluccio's in Beverley.
I have been a supporter of Carluccio's for many years. It was pleasing to see that despite closures elsewhere, the Beverley branch stayed open. This is down to the excellent service given by staff and their manager who takes an interest in every customer who walks through the door. Carluccio's has become the ideal meeting place where you can enjoy good food and drink whilst having the space to talk to friends. My wife and I have never had a single negative experience here. We look forward to their staging Operatic and other musical evenings as we get to grips with Covid. Many thanks to all the staff.

Was unable to find any information about times for breakfast or brunch on the website.
Arrived at 11.30 and by the time a member of staff came across to see us it was 11.35, we were told “breakfast had finished 5 minutes earlier and there was zero movement on that”. The member of staff was very rude as nobody had asked for any movement on the breakfast we just asked if it had finished and he has worked for Carluccio’s for a long time so it took me by surprise how rude he was.
We just left and will never return as food is very average and now apparently is the customer service. Much nicer places in Beverley to eat with much more welcoming staff.

We had lunch at Carluccio's in Stratford-upon-Avon on 28 August. The staff were fantastic, despite being busy they were friendly and efficient. Great sense of humour too. The food was amazing. It was our second visit to that branch and we are looking forward to the next.

Had lunch today at Portsmouth. All the staff we had dealings with were friendly and efficient, Raphael in particular was very welcoming and attentive. Food was hot and delicious and service was quick without being rushed. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again next time we are down in Portsmouth.

Very disappointing service overall and rude staff.

We visited Carluccios (Walton-on-Thames) in June 2021. It took over 20mins for anyone to come over to our table and there was no set menu available even though the website indicated there was. We ordered 1 starter and bread/olives to share - the bread and olives came just before the mains and way after the other starter was finished, even though we'd asked for them as starters. Food was good, we enjoyed our mains and desserts.
When we asked for the bill (again, took at least 20 mins to get anyone's attention), I asked if they had a student discount to which the waiter said no. I showed him the website indicating there was a discount and asked him to please check - he rolled his eyes at me, raised his eyebrows and walked away.
I emailed this in a complaint to Carluccios, saying that I understood that COVID has made things difficult staffing-wise but that I was disappointed. They never replied.
Won't be going back, even though the food was decent, because you would expect decent customer service and not rude staff for the amount you pay there.

Went to Cheshire oaks restaurant and ordered risotto and steak
Risotto was cold and congealed, had to be sent back
Steak cold and really fatty
Really not worth it should have just gone to McDonalds would have enjoyed it a lot more at a fraction of the cost
Avoid at all costs

Very slow the one in Stratford upon Avon. Took them 15 minutes to serve a take away coffe.

Three meals ordered two salads and a pasta.
Goats cheese salad had no NO cheese and the tuna Nicoise Salad had very micro thin tuna cooked to no taste and one anchovy . A shadow of the past !! Nobody cares. Coffe has no creme as it looks badly made.

I used to love this restaurant but unfortunately it has changed and food is not as good as before. Customer service not bad.

Prices have gone up and the quality of food has gone down.
It seems to me that everything ended with the death of Antonio, from that moment on it was seen how everything changed (but to the disadvantage).

I ordered a bunch of stuff from their website, which arrived several days before the estimated date. Very happy about this. Their oils are fantastic as well. I cannot comment on the restaurant as I have never been.

We went to the bury branch, ordered two chicken and pancetta salads. First we got two goats cheese salads, sent them back and asked for what we ordered. We then got two chicken salads, no pancetta. We then asked for the pancetta and this came separately and burnt. Two small pieces of chicken in each salad. Absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t return.

Ordered panettone 2 weeks ago online as the shop nearby has closed, after I enquired about the items not delivered, they stated that dpd couldn't find my address. That's very strange as I have just received 2 parcels from dpd today. Wont be using them again as I paid for delivery.

I was a cook at Carluccis for over a year....that pizza place was by far the worse run pizza shop ever. The kitchen is nasty dirty, the owner Jen cares nothing about the customers. She takes all the tips from the cooks, and pay is bare minimum. My last night there I was answering phones cooking as twnjnh food out of oven. If you care about your family eat somewhere else.
