Still far from happy with your reply
Still far from happy with your reply. As previously stated, it was not nine weeks before we raised concerns. You use the order date as the start of the alleged nine weeks, the fish arrived three weeks later because of your concerns re white spot. We phoned several times before the first email. Phone calls were not always answered.
Ok, someone at Carpco screwed up, mistakes happen. What rankles so much is your refusal to accept responsibility and compensation and your attempts to blame us for your mistakes. Your sick fish cost us three very large koi, hassle and stress. Bad product and even worse customer care.

Size of fish!!
Following a loss of many fish due to Parasites and having now restored my pond I ordered the selection packs. 5 Koi, 5 Ghosts and 20 mixed Goldfish, Shubunkins and Comets. Fish came on time and perfectly packed and seem in good condition. Would have been nice not to have 5 identical Ghosts but my main issue was that these fish were 2" to 3" at best NOT 3" to 4". They seem happy in their new home and I will be checking every day.

typical got a problem BS,
i bought some fish from these people, 26 in all, the fish came packed well, i had no problem. after a few weeks i had two death, then a week later i had one of my koi die. the problem i have, this company seems to assume we are all pond novices and dont know what we are doing. i wrote to these people and got the usual BS, whats the amonia, whats the nitrate,,bla,bla...
as i was not asking for any money back i was offended.. send a picture so some guy can take a look at it,,, as if we are stupid and we cant see any external issues.

Rarely are things as good as I hope…
Rarely are things as good as I hope when I buy online, but this company has restored my faith in online shopping. I was concerned when purchasing but the girl in the office was so helpful and reassured me that it was safe and they had shipped over 150,000 orders.
Well I ordered yesterday and DX delivered just now! I am disabled and the delivery driver was kind enough to help me get the fish box up to the pond and the bag floated.
I hope they read this and give themselves a big pat on the back!
They are now swimming around their new home and I am thrilled to see them exploring.
Once these little ones settle in I will definitely be back :)

Update:
Customer care extremely helpful and apologetic. Hopefully better quality control will be enforced. After a good dose of meds fish seem fine so going for a three star rating now.

I have ordered quite a few small koi fish to build up my fry population, and a few select larger koi ready for my 10000ltr pond the fish are healthy and and clean when they have arrived with exception of two which arrived dead. I emailed the carp co and quickly got a response from them promising to replace them with similar fish, no hassle no fuss.
Sure enough the fish were added to my next order and all doing well, except one which has succumbed to an outbreak of flukes in the last week.
I really was impressed with the customer service and continue to be impressed with the fish quality. Almost ready with the new pond and to order some more larger koi 😀

I was going to give up my pond. My water was a muddy green colour and I had not seen my fish since the winter. I thought they had been eaten. I decided to call The Carp Company and spoke to Beth in the office. She told me that she would get someone to give me a call back. I didn’t expect to hear anything more.
However, the manager (Jack I believe) called me back that afternoon. He helped me to get to grips with my filtration, advised that I changed the UV bulb and also advised that I did some homework on the nitrogen cycle in ponds! He did not actually try to sell me anything.
Water now clear. Fish happy and very happy future customer.
