DO NOT TRUST CARPET COURT

To be specific, Carpet Court CALOUNDRA QLD are to be avoided when it comes to vinyl plank installation. It was their Manager who recommended planking over the ceramic tiles and I trusted him. I thought tiles had to be removed but he assured me my floor was perfect for the job. just 2-1/2 years later the floor buckled in two places, immediately above the silicone expansion joints in the ceramic tiles below. Short story is, he lied and denied I had silicone expansion joints. He claimed I had rising damp and that was the problem. Engineers and multiple qualified building inspections disproved his lies. He did do a floor conversion over 2 x silicone joints which breached an Australian standard. I had no rising damp and he simply walked away without any offer to fix his catastrophe. Carpet Court National paid initial lip service but when I provided them the evidence and photos, along with their family connection at Carpet Court Yass - the silence in this chain became deafening. Not one of them helped. Avoid Carpet Court - they cannot be trusted. I had to get the entire floor pulled up and completely replaced, this time by a professional installer.

Worst experience ever.

I engaged Carpet Court Gepps Cross for the supply and installation of Easi-Plank Red Stone flooring from Preference Floors, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.

The flooring was installed in a manner that did not comply with manufacturer instructions or Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1884-2021). As a result, boards warped and tongues snapped extensively throughout almost all rooms. The root cause appears to be inadequate preparation of the concrete slab subfloor, which was confirmed by their own installer.

Despite repeated emails and calls over many months, the company failed to provide timely resolutions. Promises of inspections and fixes were made but never followed through. Even after acknowledging the issues, Carpet Court insisted on additional payments before addressing the problems, despite the product being defective.

Under Australian Consumer Law, Carpet Court is responsible for remedying major failures. However, they refused to accept full responsibility, offering only a partial refund of $2,002 (from a $6,460 deposit) and requiring removal and disposal at my expense.

While the tone of their emails suggested willingness to help, their actions did not match. The process was stressful, drawn out, and left us with damaged flooring and unresolved issues for over two years. Summary: I cannot recommend Carpet Court Gepps Cross. Poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and inadequate customer service have caused significant strain. If you value quality and reliability, look elsewhere.

The carpet had major colour variations…

The carpet had major colour variations at joins and despite constant discussions we feel that we have been left alone by carpet court to resolve the issue with bremworth. The house has been in disarray for two weeks now. Installation had to be stopped because it was so bad. Bremworth sent out an expert who explained that steam cleaning would resolve the issue but when it dried it was the same as it was. They seem to have ignored that fact that their solution did not work The customer service officer at bremworth has not even had the manners to speak to us even once

Looks like lawyers are needed to resolve the issue. I would not recommend bremworth carpets to anyone. We were told they were a high quality brand. I think not

The Carpet Court Preston.Vic

This is regarding The Carpet Cort store in Preston Vic 3072
These guys are the best carpet suppliers we have dealt with in years! From first contact over the phone with SANA , which was a really long call as I was so conscious of making the right choice of supplier , carpet and colour. Her product knowledge was extensive and her patience genuinely endless! Arrived to showroom just behind Beacon Lighting on Bell st. Heaps of easy parking out the back, couldn’t believe I never knew it was there! Great spacious showroom with great lighting so you can see your colours in authentic natural light. SANA spent ages with me as we played with colours either side of what I was trying to match and the qualities. Anyway, we did a happy deal and booked for installation which was done Friday 5/9/25. OMAR, was our measurements guy , he arrived on time, measured and was great to talk too about the intricacies of the carpet sale and supply business. CHRIS, The Carpet Guy, was early (yep!) and did a beautiful job laying a light carpet with lots of little cutout areas. We are absolutely delighted with the end result ❤️
This is a family business, and work with an ethic and genuine sales rapport that reminds me of the oldtime sales techniques of my word is my bond. Go here First, I didn’t need to go anywhere else.
Many Thanks to Sana ,Omar, and Chris ❤️

Unprofessional, intimidating, lack of care treatment of customer with heart disease and pacemaker.

Horrendous experience over an extremely unprofessional, intimidating and damaging install by Bowral Carpet Court. $25k + floors not correctly installed for use, a 5 day install doubled due to poor workmanship, smokos and general whinging. Glue marks throughout (even after Carpet Court owner requested they be cleaned), did not clean up any day, left sharp nails, broken cement, rubble. Did not even vacuum final mess after carpet install. Still finding nails. Damaged brand new fridge. Washed glue down laundry and kitchen sinks rather than their external buckets. Still trying to get glue marks off floors and sinks! Nothing noted on invoices or quotes regarding additional furniture charges! Watched me move furniture inclusive of two beds weighing 80 kilos each due to their resentment of not being paid additional cash in hand. Additional to $25k spend???? Very poor all round communications from front office, to install co ordinator, to install, to owner. I have heart disease and a pacemaker. Frightening to think how they treat elderly folk. Poor service. Definitely not worth it, definitely bad for the Camaro ‘luxury’ product, and definitely took the excitement out of a once in a lifetime floor upgrade. Tried to resolve, but all those originally friendly, ‘can do anything’ folk have gone silent. Definitely felt more like a worker than a customer.

Happy with the Plantation Shutters

I have just had the folding plantation shutters installed by Ted at Myaree Carpet Court. They make my old house look so modern. Ted did a great job. All the staff there are so nice and friendly. The shutters came from Queensland so they took awhile but well worth the wait. Very happy.

The most disgusting people I have ever dealt with. The Kilsyth Owner and Nat Ops Mgr blamed the customer for the faulty product, as I only complained 3-4 yrs in to a 10 year warranty .

Burleigh Heads

Salesman was friendly and generous with discount however the installers were shocking. They didn't show up on the install day and it took me a phone call to ask what was going on (apparently sick).
Then when I needed them to come back, they didn't arrive in the timeframe I was told, so again it took me a phone call to ask where they were.
Punctuality and communication = 1 star

Absolute best for service, product quality and installation

If you want the absolute best for service, product quality and installation... I highly recommend Carpet Court!
Firstly, for measuring, the gentleman came out on time, was incredibly thoughtful, patient and knowledgable.
Ordering and delivery was quick and easy! The people from Carpet Court were fantastic to deal with! The installer came out on time and was very efficient. The carpet was installed perfectly and looks and feels beautiful! It was great value for money too (the best price we could find)! We’ve had not so good carpet installations before – lumpy installations, people coming later than they said, carpets that were smelly after installation -not with Carpet Court though.
They also installed some curtains for us... the process and final look were amazing there too! They’ve been the absolute best experience for us!

Port Macquarie , worst service ever

1. Measure and Quote appointment person was 45 mins late on 3 October
2.Quote was supposed to be within 3-4 days as indicated , however, after 7 days no contact so I had to chase it up.
3. Went to pay a deposit for job today 12 October as this was best quote however staff would not properly assist me in my enquiries inti timing installation with me moving furniture between rooms to be carpeted. They were disinterested in listening to me nor did they supply me with cost of doing rooms separately. One staff member was rude saying to another staff member "he is not listening" with me there causing offense. As a result I canceled my acceptance of the quote and walked out. I literally was in there to pay a 50% deposit and they ruined it. (how is this even possible) especially when i came in and 4 team members were standing around talking with nil customers. I will be accepting a more expensive competitor quote soon instead. I also intent to inform my many friends in Port Macquarie of this poor service and make social media posts along with reviews on independent websites......not happy

Unprofessional Chadstone Store

The salesman did not mention that I would need a carpenter to trim doors. I did certainly need a carpenter.
The installer was two hours late.
I was told the installation would take 1.5 hours. It took 4.
The installer did not clean up.
He left seven doors in total propped up along the hall.
All this after an alleged fraudulent ex employee of theirs tampered with an invoice.
Just unprofessional and disrespectful of customers time.

Buyer Beware....

Buyer Beware....

We had carpet installed by Carpet Court their sales process was really smooth & everything went well until after a few months we had a issue where the carpet had pulled. We were sold a 15 year warranty for domestic use & residential wear as a product guarantee. Once there was an issue Ben the Director of Carpet Court Taren Point was quick to deflect this issue to manufacturer. Which under Australian Consumer Law is illegal as the contract of sale is between me & carpet court.

I'm only writing this review to warn the public that Carpet Court Taren Point do not honour their warranties.

I notified the Director of the business Ben Chapman of his obligations under Australian Consumer Law and his obligation offering express warranties and not honouring them.

You can see the e-mail I sent and Ben's response in the attached images.

If I had my time over I would have gone with Cronulla Carpets or Harvery Norman.

If you want a lesson on mismanagement…

If you want a lesson on mismanagement then Carpet Court Grovedale is the place for you. From a highly disorganised quote and scheduling process, having to chase up receipts for your own payments, being passed around from sales person to sales person, due to a significant lack of continuity of staff and an all around lack of proactive communication it was hard work from start to finish. The icing on the cake was an email requesting final payment, for an invoice that had been paid 2 days prior…..however, the installers were excellent. They took precision, care, did what they needed and communicated honestly and effectively”. So, 5/10 for the office, 9.5/10 for the installers

Worst experience ever, stay away

We purchased high quality Wool carpet for a reno, from Grovedale Carpet Court for 4 bedrooms which cost around $7,500. It was installed to 3 out of the 4 bedrooms, we thought it odd that they didn't have enough and it didn't look like what we purchased. But they had installed the wrong carpet! They installed our $7.5k carpet into another house, who had paid $2k for synthetic carpet so were all to happy to get our wool carpet and weren't giving it back.
Carpet Court offered us $1,500 off $7,500 to keep the synthetic carpet, then upped the offer to $2,000. So we would still have been paying $5000 for something we didn't want that actually cost someone else $2000 to buy.
We said we wanted what we bought, but they then told us that carpet wasn't available for another 2 months. So we had to pick another colour in that range as they didn't have anything else of that quality.
