Number plates are not UK legal. Bottom centre of plate should show company name and postcode. Plates I received show a postcode but it is not valid on Gov.uk site to see if company is RNPS (Registered Number Plate Specialist).
Bottom right of plate should show company that manufactured the plates plus British Standard No. Only BS No present, no manufacturers details.
Car Plates Direct not recognised on Companies House website either!
Their website doesn’t state that they are RNPS I noticed in hindsight and the only way you can contact them is by email.
If I were you, I’d learn from my mistakes!

Paid Express Delivery, plates turned up a week later! Poor communication. Plates Decent, but won’t use again

Still haven't received the plate which I ordered 7 days ago and because its a new plate by law I'm required to put itjon my vehicle within 7 days of changing registration

Plates arrived after 3 days. Good quality plates. When I buy again I won't pay for express delivery.

I didn’t pay for next day delivery, but the website clearly stated fast delivery times, and the confirmation email I received on 12 August told me the plates would be sent Royal Mail Gtd next day delivery, before 1pm so I assumed they’d arrive within a couple of days.
Tracking info showed the package still in Jersey on 20 Aug, and two emails to the company went unanswered (no address or phone number on website should have been a big clue, as should the real reviews - they give themselves 4.9/5 on the website I notice!)
I’d given up and ordered replacements elsewhere when the plates suddenly arrived today - scratched all over and a big white blob on one of the letters. Nice…

Ordered plates Fri 18th Aug paid £9.99 for Special Delivery, Still nothing today Wed 23rd Aug, tried emailing 3 times my messages are being bounced back undeliverable. Looks like a scam company, avoid at all costs.......

Looks like a common experince with this company, I paid for express delivery on Friday 18/08/23 expecting them to be delivered on Saturday but thought Monday was fair. Received an email on Tuesday stating the would be dispatched that day. Queried this with Plates Direct, they blamed Royal Mail and said they had been sent via Evri. Having checked the tracking information Evri as of 23/08/23 have not even received them and it's estimated they will take three days when they do receive them. Shocking service, stay well clear of these people

like every other bad review, I too paid extra for express delivery and haven't received anything after 4 days now..im not hopeful of receiving a response or a refund, im having to go and buy the plates myself at another place today, but I will revise this review if anything happens

Only got 1 star as no option for zero. I have had exactly the same experience as the other bad reviews. Paid extra for next day delivery and after 4 days they are in Jersey for some obscure reason. Three emails and not so much as a reply as of yet. You have been warned.

Ordered the plate yesterday urgently and paid the extra £12.99 to have delivered by 1pm today. Shocker nothing has been received. Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. Says a lot when there is no phone number on their website. Dodgy company. Stay away!

ORDERED PLATES AND PAID EXTRA £9.99 FOR EXPRESS DELIVERY SAME DAY DESPATCH, STILL NOT RECEIVED THEM AFTER 4 DAYS. tRACKING NUMBER QUOTED JUST SAYS NO INFORMATION CURRENTLY. WHEN I SENT THEM AN E.MAIL THEY DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. SPENT OVER £50 SO I HAVE CONTACTED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY

Ordered a rear plate online and it is not legal and nobody responds to your emails. DO NOT USE THEM

I should have check trust pilot beforehand but I was rushing to get a plate quickly

Ordered my next day delivery plates before the threshold had passed, paid extra for the guaranteed next day delivery, we are now on day 3,i have sent 5 emails with zero response, received a generic email last night saying plates have been made and gave me a tracking number. Plates are still in Jersey and have not left for LGW sorting office. would definitely NOT recommend this company,

Avoid this site.
In the terms and conditions it states " .. the Purchaser may risk prosecution if the registration plates are used on UK highways."
ALL plates supplied are show only. "Legal" are not UK legal.
Worse is that I received a front plate with printing not centred, rough edges and backing film not trimmed.
Sent an email with photos - no reply. Sent chaser email to address on site and returned by Mailer as:
"Unable to deliver message after multiple retries, giving up."
Lesson in read the small print and avoid entities without an identifiable physical site and phone number. No company registration either.

Awful company. Ordered plates with a gap between the number and letter as a standard plate. Received with no space and therefore illegal. No response from customer services.

Be very careful to specify "legal plates" I ordered a legal set of plates but with a black uk badge (perfectly legal on plates fitted after September 2021) and the did not come with the bs number or their name, thereby making them illegal. When I complained they said I should have specified legal plates. Also don't bother with the fitting kit, not worth the ag.

I ordered two sets of plates, excellent quality and super fast delivery.

Shocking.
After taking the time to measure my number plates accurately and choosing the correct size on the website they sent the wrong size plate.

When I complained they did say they did promptly state they would rectify the error.

I explained I would need the plate sending to a different address as I would no longer be at the original location.

When the confirmation order arrived by e-mail I saw the original address listed and immediately contacted to state they had not amended the address.

I did not receive a reply, then days later I see tracking information to show the plate is on its way to the wrong address.
