I ordered a Dyson Airwrap HS08 from Carrefour UAE and received a fake product. I verified the serial number directly with Dyson, and they confirmed in email and chat that this serial number was never issued anywhere in the world.
Despite sharing this proof, Carrefour denied the issue, saying it was a third-party “international variant.” My return request was rejected, and customer service was rude and unhelpful.
After 2 weeks of daily follow ups, they finally agreed to pick up the product, but said the refund depends on seller approval, even though the item was unused and confirmed fake.

This situation has been marked by repeated service failures, poor communication and an unreasonable lack of accountability from both Carrefour and the supplier.
Order Timeline & Sequence of Events
1 January: I placed an order for a cooker.
9 January: The cooker was scheduled for delivery.
On that day, I received a call from the delivery driver informing me that the item could not be delivered because it was damaged at the warehouse.
16 January: The cooker was finally delivered; however, it arrived missing an essential power cable required to connect it to the electricity supply.
This raises an obvious and serious question: How is a customer expected to use a cooker that cannot even be switched on?
Delivering an appliance without a required component makes it unusable.
Ongoing Customer Service Failure
Since the delivery, I have contacted Carrefour repeatedly in an effort to resolve what should have been a straightforward issue.
To date:
* I have spoken to six different consultants, each providing inconsistent information.
* I have been repeatedly assured that the missing part would be delivered “immediately.”
* Promises were made but never followed through.
* At no point was I proactively updated - I have had to chase Carrefour myself at every stage.
Unacceptable Outcome
On my most recent follow-up call yesterday (Friday, 23 January 2026), I was told that I would need to purchase the missing cable myself.
This is completely unacceptable.
Why was I not informed at the time of purchase that an essential cable would need to be bought separately?
Why did multiple consultants confirm that the supplier would provide and deliver it?
And most importantly, why am I now being asked to pay for an error that is not mine?
This situation has deprived me of the ability to cook for my household for weeks. The inconvenience and unfair treatment are significant.

I only became aware of this after receiving the tax invoice via email, where one item was marked as “out of stock.” This situation was very inconvenient, especially since the item was still showing as available in their website at the time of purchase.
I contacted customer service and spoke with a representative named Angelica. I requested if it was possible for the refund of the out-of-stock item to be credited to my Carrefour Wallet instead of being returned to my card or Tabby. She explained that the refund method depends on the system and whether this option was allowed before the purchase. When I asked how I could verify whether this applied to my order, she repeatedly stated that she could not check or confirm it because it is system-generated.
Unfortunately, this explanation was not helpful, and no alternative solution or clear clarification was provided. I also felt that her tone was sarcastic and dismissive while I was simply trying to understand my options. As a result, I felt that my concerns were not properly addressed and that I was left without support.
This out-of-stock issue has occurred multiple times—three times in my case. During the first incident, I only realized there was an issue when I received my order, since I do not usually check emails. I was sent a substitute product without my consent, which is unacceptable because the item is skincare product.

Terrible experience with Carrefour! My order was scheduled for delivery between 3 January and 6 January 2026, and it still hasn’t arrived. No one bothered to update me, and customer service has been completely unresponsive despite multiple attempts to contact them.

I purchased a Samsung washing machine from Carrefour Online on December 11, trusting Carrefour based on my previous experience. However, upon first use, the machine produced an unusual noise. I immediately contacted customer service and was advised to provide a video as proof, which I sent via email as requested.
When I later checked my account, the status showed “Returns”, but despite multiple follow-up calls and emails, I have received no response. My ticket number is 10004361. The return date also shows December 11, yet to date I have not received any call, update, or resolution from Carrefour.
This experience has been extremely disappointing due to the lack of communication and support. I did not expect this level of service from a brand I trusted, and unfortunately, this has affected my confidence in purchasing from Carrefour again.

Bought a Fridge Freezer - measure the void and yes would fit. Delivered and unwrapped - but when you open the door, it hits the wall and can not open doors. Had to take pictures and video - provided all the details - then was told that as did not keep the box and wrapping would not take back. The measurements I took are all correct - what was advertised as sizes by the retailer was not correct, as no tolerance for the doors opening 25-30mm greater. So can not house the FF in its void and having to relocate to one side of the kitchen. So disappointing - patronizing email sent by retailer "sorry and thank you for your understanding" ......

I am extremely disappointed with the handling of an issue I experienced with a self-service machine at Carrefour, Mall of the Emirates.
On 30/10/2025, I was purchasing one travel bag. After scanning the item, the system correctly displayed the price for one bag. However, when I tapped my debit card for payment, I was incorrectly charged for three (3) pieces instead of one. The total amount charged was AED 1,017, whereas I should have been refunded AED 678 for the extra two items.
I immediately reported this issue to Customer Service. I was informed that the refund had been processed, and I was later given a reference number confirming that the amount was supposedly refunded. Unfortunately, to date, I have not received any refund.
I have followed up several times with Carrefour and also checked with my bank, which has confirmed that no refund has been received or processed. Despite
these efforts, no one seems to be taking real ownership of this issue. The only response I continue to receive is to “wait” or to “check with the bank,” which has already been done multiple times.
I even suggested an alternative solution, such as issuing a voucher for the refund amount, since the cash refund has clearly not been processed correctly. This suggestion was also declined, and I was again told to wait.
I am raising this concern not only for myself but also to alert other customers who may face similar issues. I strongly advise that customers do not accept delayed refund methods and instead request an immediate alternative solution, such as a same-day voucher or replacement.
I also urge Carrefour Management to look into this matter seriously, as I am certain I am not the only customer who may have experienced this issue. A repeated copy-paste response asking customers to check with their bank is neither helpful nor acceptable.
I kindly request your urgent intervention to resolve this matter and provide a clear timeline or an immediate alternative solution.

I ordered 4 fridge for our newly opened apartments for Holiday Homes. I trusted Carrefour to order the stuff in the units but got not other than stress and hassle. The orders supposed to arrived 12-15th of December but got no reply. I called on the 16th and they said that the orders are being prepared by the company. Then until the 19th i didn't get any update. I called again and they said that the order is cancelled since items are out of stock. Without any idea, my orders are being cancelled and waiting for nothing. Very bad customer service.
