not the best

Took two weeks for them to process, got email saying they have found lots of faults and would pay less, when I phoned to enquire some of the faults magically disappeared and they offered slightly more but still not the full quoted price. Personally I feel slightly ripped off and definitely wouldn't use this company again, I wish I had listened to the all the negative reviews.

A used phone should be a new one...

This was my first time in sending off a phone and in hindsight I should have stuck to what I know and put it on eBay...The website was good but response to emails was very slow.I sent the phone the next day after getting a price and was then emailed a few days later to say that the used phone I had sent had been used and therefore the price would be reduced by 15%. It was in very good condition but had been used which is why I stated it was used....In the meantime some info and a pre-addressed jiffy bag arrived which I didn't request as they had received the phone by then and there was no mention of them sending out the jiffy anyway. Got my reduced payment about 10 days after sending the phone so not as fast as stated but I did get paid. Not bad overall but room for improvement in a competitive market.

It seemed too good to be true - and was!

I looked on a comparison site to see how much I could get for my Blackberry, Cash My Fone was offering £79 which was much more than any other so it looked like a brilliant choice.
The website was easy to use but having since gone through the order process it is very misleading. It asks if your phone is brand new, used and working or used and not working. It's not very difficult to decide which one of these my phone is...so I chose used but working (which is was).
Having completed the order it said to send off the phone, I even received a jiffy bag after a couple of days because I hadn't sent it yet. I was impressed by this as the website stated it didn't provide them.
Having sent the phone a week later I received an email stating there was an issue with the order, and that the phone is not in a good enough condition to receive the full payment. I had the phone around 1 year, it was kept in a case the whole time and looked like new. Sooo they offered me a lower price for the phone, which I could have quite easily got elsewhere much quicker. This is very sneaky and tactical which I don't like, they offered an unrealistic price and then said the conditions did not adhere to the standards they have so then offer a much lower price. I accepted the offer as it would have been too much effort asking them to send it back. (Although, I spoke to a friend after about this and they refused the offer given to them and ended up receiving the full payment. Wish i'd have known that!)
So to summarise - They were deceiving, took a long time to process the order and then took even longer due to their 'issues' with the phone. They still haven't paid me the money which was supposed to be in my bank in 48 hours, I received a confirmation email Friday morning and it is now Monday night. Overall a bad experience and I would't use them again.
Lesson learnt - Go with a well known site and don't be greedy!

Terrible service! Unacceptable!

Firstly they said they hadn't received it! Kept sending me emails to send it, when I did send it, first class special delivery..... when i told them I did, suddenly I get an email saying they have it.... They lie about the price they are going to give you! Do not believe or use or trust this company! They put up high prices so you send your phone to them and when they get them, they make up an excuse saying its not in their t&c's.... Unless your sending it brand new and boxed, it probably won't be in their t&c's. honestly would never ever ever deal with again! Go for a lower price on comparison sites they might be lower but at least you will get the money they claim.... Honestly this company is a waste of time, I wouldn't be moaning if I had no reason too!

Effective quick service!

I had a report back saying that my phone wasn't up to how I agreed it was when applying. Apprently in the small print your phone must basically be in brand new order without a scratch or signs or wear and tear. But it is like that will all phone selling companies I guess and that gives them a chance to offer you a lower price which you then feel obliged to accept as they already have your phone. This isn't just the case with this company but all of them by the sounds of it. However I received good communication and a fair price even with the reduction for the wear and tear.
Overall happy with the service and would still recommend!

Aviod at all costs! Pile of shite!

Lure you in with a good offer for your phone then reduce the offer once they have the handset without explanation on the hope that you will get sick to death of emailing them, like i did, and just accept their shitty offer.
I sent them good phones in working order and undamaged and they reduced it by 25% for no reason. The customer servces number just rings and when you email them they just ingore you. The only reply i got was to say their second offer amount would be in my bank in 48 hrs. I knew that once i accepted it i would get a response, i just knew it.
I could have got more else where.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!

very slow process

After posting the phone there was a delay and then I was offered a lower amount due to a fault ( not detailed) I accepted this but am still waiting for the cheque, I'm holding off sending other phones until I actually receive it. Also the My account page is out of date and not much help either for checking progress.

Bit misleading

I sent my phone which was in good condition based on the quote I was given. I received email stating that phone had been received and was being checked. One minute later I received a further email stating phone had been checked and scratches found on outer casing. I mean its a 2nd had phone. This resulted on £5 being deducted from original quote. Felt as if I was being conned.

Unreliable estimates of cost- be careful

Despite my phone being in very good condition, I was told it was damaged and offered a far lower price. They had had the phone a week by that point and I'd already paid expensive postage so it wasn't worth the hassle of getting it returned but seemed quite a dishonest approach to me. Be cautious

Does what it says it does

I was a bit worried at times, but only because I'd never used this website before. Phone was received on the Monday, but wasn't checked in until Wednesday. Didn't receive anything off cash my fone until Wednesday, I was worrying over nothing.

Complete charlatans!!!

What a joke this company is. They offer you one price to lure you in and then magically your phone develops some sort of fault be it cosmetic or otherwise which renders them reducing the offer price. They then take a further few days to actually pay out the lower amount of money and do not even have the good grace to acknowledge let alone reply to emails. They are to be avoided and I would not recommend them to anyone. NO STARS whatsoever is my rating. Unprofessional, underhand and downright useless!!!
