Absolute 5 stars for the service…

Absolute 5 stars for the service received from Causey.

Called them to go and see a vulnerable man who's heating wouldnt go off. They resolved the issue but then contacted us to say the boiler looks new check the warranty before we carry out works you may get it fixed foc or replaced. How honest and genuine.
Most contractors would of gone ahead and fixed the problem without disclosing this.

fantastic job

After being let down by a previous plumber, we rang Ray at Causeway on a Saturday morning..he came round within 3hours ..priced up a new boiler an booked it in for a few days time. The lads arrived early than expected..cracked on with the job..cleaned up after themselves ..explained everything as they went..super job done..fantastic experience..Will definitely recommend and will use again.

Phoned them to come and fix a burst…

Phoned them to come and fix a burst pipe in my ceiling they turned up looked at it said will phone you in couple days let it dry out never heard from them again ,Oh and this is the second time they've done this picking and choosing the jobs they want to do wouldn't recommend to anyone

Very efficient and professional

We employed Causeway Heating to setup a new oil boiler heating system with pressurised hot water tank in our home.
We were delighted with the efficiency of this company, the new system was setup in 2 days. Sammy and Glenn were very professional and worked tirelessly to provide the service. Everything was done according to highest standards and the quote was very competitive.
They also gave recommendations to optimise the new system and minimise fuel consumption.
Highly recommended!

Have been a customer with Causeway…Failed to provide a quote

Have been a loyal customer with Causeway heating for 8 years. Arranged for a quote for a new radiator. Ray came out as agreed on 1st December. Now 2.5months on still no quote. I have phoned and chased this up on 3 separate occasions in December. Told on 2 occasions by the guy in the office that he hadn't received the paper work. On the 3rd occasion I was told that the supplier hadn't provided a price for the radiator. This was a routine standard radiator replacement. No solution to the lack the quote was offered. Very disappointing customer service from a company I had previously had good service.

Great Service

Had problems with our heating for almost a year, various engineers telling us different things but not sorting anything. Finally found Causeway, all problems solved in a few hours and at a good price. Great service, everything explained simply and clearly Thank you.

Ronaldo was fabulous!

Ronaldo came to our house, and we used Causeway Heating services for the third time! We found him to be polite and patient, taking the time to explain the services to us in detail and going above and beyond to ensure that we, as laymen, understood the importance of the new heating regulator device that we also purchased. As he placed back the parts of the cupboard that needed to be temporarily removed, I mentioned that we had just had the kitchen refurbished and repainted. Ronaldo took special care to align everything perfectly. We were extremely pleased with the service. I would undoubtedly use their services again. Moreover, for anyone in need of updating their systems, I was also informed that not getting it serviced would void the warranty. When it comes to central heating, strict adherence to health and safety regulations is crucial, and the information provided by Causeway was unmatched in helping us fully comprehend the services and products they offer.

Had a leak on my water tank of which…

Had a leak on my water tank of which speaking with Kim she organised for Ben to survey and fix. Was great service from start to finish by the team. I would very much recommend them. Thanks again to Kim and Ben.

Our local company were unable to…

Our local company were unable to replace our two boilers so I rang the company who made original boilers 45 years ago and they recommended causeway heating. I will be eternally grateful for their kindness, understanding of lack of heating during a pre Xmas very cold spell, speed, efficiency, professionalism, working weekends and late nights until the job was done. The owners and staff were at all times kind, pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend this company to all my friends and colleagues. Frankie Robertson.

I rang causeway heating to arrange to take out my 97 year father bath room and replace it with a walk in shower the services from them was of highest standard Tony and is crew spent a lot of time talking and explaining to dad they even sat down had tea and biscuits with him the finished job was fantastic thanks to you all Stephen mullin

Faulty Boiler Installation

I had a new Viessmann Combi boiler central heating system installed by Causeway Heating in 2016.
All work was carried out professionally and satisfactorily completed. We then noticed a problem with the domestic hot water/shower running hot/cold continuously. We contacted Causway Heating and we were told at different times to (1) get the water pressure checked (2) add a new mixer tap in the shower (3) change shower head. We did as advised but the problem persisted even after the first annual service. This year we called in a Viessmann recommended installer to service and check the system. Within 30 minutes he identified a major installation error. The boiler incoming cold water pipe and the outgoing domestic hot water pipe had been fitted to the boiler the wrong way round. He corrected this error by re-plumbing both pipes. We now have perfect hot water/shower flows, the water heats up quicker and we can run two taps together. I have been in contact with VIESSMANN Technical staff, and they tell me that this error should never happen and is bad practice. We struggled with this incorrect installation for 3 years because Causway Heating did not listen and check. Not very professional.

Have been using the guys at Caueway for years now. Had Ben out to a leak on my boiler this week and the service was great. Very efficient and would highly recommend!!

Great service!

After our ancient boiler decided to give up on us last week we called causeway. I cannot praise these guys enough, the engineers were very efficient and did a great job. Highly recommend!

Fabulous service as always.

Fabulous service as always.
Have used Causeway yet again to service my boiler and Ben as usual has sorted it. Had a weird noise coming from it and it’s been vented and cleaned, all good. Have recommended Causeway to several neighbours who now all use them.
Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, thanks all at Causeway and have a lovely Christmas.

Quick and efficient

Had Causeway out over the weekend for a boiler breakdown, they were out incredibly quick and had me back up and running that day!! Can’t recommend highly enough!!

Outrageous call-out fees and shocking customer support

While the repair people are professional and friendly, this company charges outrageous call-out fees and are very unfriendly when anything comes up later on.
If you do use them for some reason, I would strongly advise to notify them clearly of all the work you want doing – otherwise they’ll try to charge you multiple call-out fees.
Such a shame… What happened to good old plumbers? Now you get a “company” that tries to get more call-out charges and won’t just do the work. When you try to complain, they seem more worried about the video(!) recording of their calls than actually dealing with your issue.
Definitely would NOT recommend!

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE COMPANY'S REPLY:
I don't think this is the right place for this kind of response, but I'll still state the facts for everyone's benefit:
1. Your company was called in for a radiator issue.
2. Your company fixed the radiator issue (30 seconds, £60).
3. When your call-out person was on site, they were made aware of another issue (shower) and were happy to fix it too.
4. The second fix (shower) lasted 1 day and the shower was leaking again.
Now - for everyone's sake - if you expect a plumber to stand behind the fix they made and come and fix it if it breaks again, then I'm with you. If you're happy with someone to "have a go" and, if it doesn't work, charge you another call-out fee, by all means - call these people. Also - if we had been told that this is just a "let's try it" kind of fix, we would probably be happier, so perhaps it was more of a communication issue. In any case, the communication with this company (and specifically with Kim and Liam) was not something that we could accept. Hence, we will never call them again and felt strongly enough about it to warn other people.

We are sorry you arent happy with our service. As explained the first time you contacted us, we have a £60 call out charge which you agreed to pay in order to repair a leaking radiator. As yet this invoice remains un-paid. Unfortunately when you called weeks later with an issue on your shower we are unable to come out and resolve free of charge under the original call out fee as the issue was seperate to the one we first attended.

Having called back to have a look at the shower (free of charge) and tell you what is required to fix it, we have sent you a written quote for a repair. Should you wish to pay for your shower to be repaired, get in touch with us any time and we will be happy to make an appointment with you.

unreliable. not respect for peoples time.

rang for leaking bathroom/tiles around shower in july 2018 no response from them since. Rang up several times since to follow up on quote which they deny. eventually booked for someone to come and look at it again this week. no one turned up no one rang to explain why took the afternoon for work. Eventually spoke to Kim who said they now can't do the work until after christmas . Their solution was just to say it wasn't them that did the previous shoddy work so i should just get back whoever did it. i was offering them business locally which they made a shambles of and unapologetic about.Really weren't that bothered about the error on their part. Its a shame as its a family run business which i would love to support but not a well run business.

Excellent customer experience ... highly recommended

I called Causeway Heating after a recommendation and due to unacceptable customer care from Worcester Bosch after my boiler failed during the recent extreme weather conditions. Notably, I also have a contract with Worcester Bosch for service and emergency repairs. But when I say unacceptable customer care, they had stopped answering their phones, concluding with 'call back later' and where I had tried to contact them for over three days ! However, Causeway couldn't have been more helpful and my boiler was functioning within 15 minutes of their arrival. Excellent customer experience and highly recommended.

Our boiler had packed in. We contacted Kim at 7.45am, who diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Who else would give you that kind of service?
This company is totally reliable in your hour of need, I cannot rate them highly enough, there knowledge and commitment is second to none, I would never go anywhere else.
