I booked a pick up for a 2:00 pm appointment and was assured that I would receive a courtesy call 30 minutes before arrival.
At 1:45 pm, I called the office to confirm everything was on schedule. At 1:30 pm, having still not received the promised call, I phoned again and was told the team was on their way. By 2:45 pm, no one had arrived, so I called a third time and was again told they were going to be there at 4:00 pm and would call me before arriving.
I received no update until around 4:45 pm, when I was told they were only 10 minutes away. They eventually arrived at approximately 5:52 pm, almost four hours after the scheduled appointment.
When I questioned why they hadn't honoured the agreed arrival time or provided the promised courtesy calls, the delay was blamed on the contractors. As a customer, I don't believe that's an acceptable excuse, as my booking was with the company.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. Communication was poor, the appointment was significantly delayed, and I felt my time was not respected. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this company to avoid paying a deposit until you are confident they will deliver the service as promised.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. Substandard, inexperienced Removalist. Damaged furniture, damaged garden and grass. The worst part was ‘customer service’ who called over 9 times demanding payment part way through the job. I said I would pay at the completion of the work, she said they would not offload furniture until paid! A terrible experience. Find another removal company I will NEVER use them again.

This company attracts customers with very low initial quotes, but the actual experience is quite different.
On the day of the move, the process was unnecessarily slow, which directly increased the total cost given it’s time-based. The two removalists who arrived repeatedly complained about heavy items and tight access, rather than focusing on getting the job done efficiently. Meanwhile, the clock kept running and the bill continued to rise.
I was also told in advance that the team would come equipped with the necessary tools to disassemble furniture if required. However, they arrived without even basic tools like a screwdriver, forcing me to source tools myself.
More concerning was the damage caused during the move. My desk was damaged when one of the movers stepped on it. When I raised this on the spot, I was told to go to Bunnings myself to fix it, which is completely unacceptable.
I escalated the issue with the company expecting at least an apology and some accountability, but instead received excuses and no willingness to take responsibility.
Overall, very poor service and a frustrating experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this company.
Rating: 0/10 – buyer beware.

Arrived on or close to time. Was collected and delivered in a very smooth manner even when an additional stop was required.
My only concern was the following day I received 3 calls even when I advised I was unable to talk as entering an event.
The removal guys great the follow up left something to be desired.

very small 4 tonne van, never seen one that tiny. more like a 2 tonne van
After waiting until 3 pm I called CBD movers, For a booking that was scheduled at 2 pm, the truck that arrived at 10 am as scheduled originally needed to recruit another truck at double the price and 2 extra men. As truck was tiny and the men didn't fancy lifting heavy stuff like couches and fridges. Within approximately five minutes of being informed that the removalists would not be returning, as the place was unhygienic and smelly. I sent the company current photographs of the property. In response, I was told that I had "obviously cleaned up" since the removalists had attended. This allegation was incorrect. The only changes made were the removal of two empty soft drink bottles and an empty coffee cup from the coffee table. No other cleaning or tidying was undertaken.
Despite maintaining that the property was allegedly unsuitable, the company then offered to complete the move on the following Sunday using a larger truck. However, this revised booking was quoted at approximately double the original rate for the first hour. This further undermines the company's claim that the condition of the property was the reason for refusing to complete the original booking. If the property was genuinely considered unhygienic or unsafe for their staff, it is difficult to understand why the company would subsequently offer to undertake the same job at a significantly higher cost. CBD movers keep deposit for turning up regardless even though they weren't capable of forfiling the contract due to heavy lifting, (sidenote) ( however, 2 men moved us into current house) so twisted the narrative to corporate, zoomed in on some cat food on a plate and dog bowl with dry bits, made excuses as neither men were ready to move furniture. I have a plan A now and will use them as a plan B given they have a $65 deposit, they won't refund, hoping the new plan A will actual surface, as seems this is a plan B at best.
The reply below is just rubbish, maybe it wasn't us because we cant match the booking, how many similar jobs as described happened today. Oh by the way, the driver also reported that he had to make up the story 2 vans and four men would be there @ 2 pm because I was holding them there, By showing them what needed moving.? hard to trust any movers after this experience.

I wish I could give them less than one…
I wish I could give them less than one star. I was attempting to contact two men and a truck (a different moving company), and this CBD movers have a predatory homepage that makes it look like that is who I was contacting. What I was actually getting was a call center for CBD movers. While the initial call was on the surface polite enough, I forced her to send me a quote, because I couldn't hear her very well. She then tried to pressure me to accept their offer on the spot, but I declined. When they contacted us the next day to lock in the deal, at the end of the call they tried to sneak in 150 dollars worth of extra fees. We did not accept their offer. Do not use CBD movers, they try to underqoute you, and they will get you in the end with extra fees. They will probably reply to this review with "sorry that wasn't us", but I have the quotes with their names on. CBD movers suck!
