Phoebe and the team did a great job at installing our heat pump system. Would recommend.

EDF were the second company I approached for a quote, after I had taken the decision to install an air source heat pump. I already had solar panels on my roof which provided power for heating water, and the main reason for accepting EDF's quote was that they were happy to incorporate these in their design, whereas the company providing the other quote intended to get rid of them entirely, since their equipment would not work reliably with them.
EDF's quote also came in as slightly less than the other. I believe the main reason for this could have been that the other company sent a representative to look at the house and assess the feasibility of installing a heat pump. EDF did not send anyone, but in the early stages relied on photos which I provided per their instructions. They sent an assessor later, but only after they had agreed that the project was feasible (including incorporating the existing solar panels). This assessor unfortunately made a major mistake in deciding that the new hot water tank would be installed in the loft: in fact it proved to be impossible to get a water tank of the proposed size through the small bathroom which gives access to the loft space. It was only when the installers (a separate company who sub-contracted the work from EDF) tried to get the new tank into the loft that it became clear it was impossible. Fortunately a very acceptable alternative was available, and the project went ahead with no further issues.
The installers were excellent - helpful, courteous and knowledgeable, and I have asked them to take on responsibility for carrying out the annual servicing. EDF too have provided excellent post-installation service, and when I could not get any cold water in a recent heat wave talked me through the process of reducing the water temperature in the tank.
The only glitch in this whole process was the mistake by the assessor over the positioning of the hot water tank. Everything else has been exemplary.

We just had our heat pump installed. The guys were very knowledgeable and tried their best to work with us on the best solution for our needs.
A particular mention to Sales Jason B, Design Jason F, our installer Ryan, and not forgetting the fabulous Phoebe.
They did a great job.

Heat pump installation by EDF Heat Pump & CB Heating went smoothly without a glitch. They organised government grant on our behalf. They go through the Design process and provide design and installation document in advance so that we understand what are required from us and what to expect from them.

I had a very good relationship with the EDF heat pump company, they were very professional and polite as well as being extremely helpful as I needed to replace a few radiators to work best with the new system and they helped me to choose the right ones. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. Tanya always stayed in touch even after the installation

We’ve had a really good experience with the fitting of our air source heatpump. The administration has been so well organised and delivered by Natalie, nothing has been too much trouble. The installation team were very good. I would recommend this company with confidence.

The proposed system diagrams and specifications were very detailed and explained to us, before signing contracts or anything. The work was carried out efficiently and all packaging etc was removed from our property. The Engineers were very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. They passed on, how we could make our then, current solar system even more efficient.

EDF Heat Pumps were great from initial estimates, design, quality control, implementation, services and documentation. So many people I know have done their research and tried to install themselves but have found it very stressful. One of the best features of EDF was having named individuals at each stage like Ramya who took responsibility for the installation.

I was extremely happy with all aspects of the installation, from the initial discussion and planning with Jason and Harley, practical details of timing and follow up with Phoebe, to the actual installation. Ciaran and his team were exemplary - courteous, extremely hard working and efficient and they made the whole experience better than I could have expected. I cannot praise them enough and send you all my thanks.

From design to installation everything was well explained and executed. Decisions about placing heat pump, tank and routing of pipework discussed and agreed at each stage.

A big thank you to the entire team who supported us through the installation of our air pump heat source.
Jason Benham from Sales was clear and upfront from the very beginning—explaining exactly what we were paying for and setting mutual expectations. Daniel Rabbit from Design patiently answered all our questions and made sure we understood every aspect of the system. Stephanie Byrne in Customer Operations did a fantastic job coordinating the entire project—your communication and organisation were truly appreciated.
And to our brilliant installation team—Ryan, Braiden, Collin, and the rest of the crew—thank you for your excellent work. Everything was handled professionally, and the results speak for themselves.
We’re very happy with the outcome. Thank you all!

Update Danny the New manager sorted the carpets out in speedy time. 1 weeks and it’s sorted
Thank you.
I wish there was a zero star. This company should be avoided at all costs. I am waiting 6 months for this company to fix the damage that was caused by my insulation. I have called emailed and been ignored. I actually had to leave my house for 3 days during the installation no water. Couldn’t flush toilet. Honestly I can’t believe the service and how this insulation went it also took 2 months to complete the job.
UPDATE finally got hold of a new manager that is going to fix my issues fingers crossed.

The EDF heatpump team were excellent. Different issues arose, including with the district network operator but the team supported us through these and stayed in touch through out the work. The install team were excellent and I can highly recommend them as they really took time to ensure the installation worked for our individual set up.

The Installer, Ryan Matthews, was extremely professional and kept us informed every step of the way. He made sure that all of his tools were tidied away at the end of the day and he even hoovered the work area. Time keeping was brilliant, he informed us what time he would arrive in the morning and he stuck to it. When he had to pick up equipment before coming to us he would give us a rough time of when he would be here and I have to say it was pretty accurate. I would highly recommend.
