We had a meal Christmas eve Wakefield,
The restaurant was very cold, a small fan heater was brought out for us. Totally inefficient for the size of room.
I ordered a steak pie for main course. The pie contained three small pieces of steak approximately 25cm in length x 15cm square, several carrots another vegetable I didn't identify and gravy. I did show the contents of the pie to the manager. There was a offer of another pie the contents of which couldn't be guaranteed but I would have been eating my meal after everyone else.
Worst pie contents I have ever had, and classed as a steak pie contravened the trades descriptions act as a steak pie should contain a larger proportion of meat to vegetables. I have used this hotel Christmas Eve for several years this will probably be my last
ever visit. I didn't ask for a discount on the bill but one wasn't offered ether.
