after finding Céline Roland back in February of this year, I exclusively order my luxury sunglasses with them. Such a fair price, even with the tariffs and shipping, and the glasses are top top quality. Once I find what I want at the luxury boutiques, I look up the style on this website and they always have them available at a gorgeous bargain. I tell all my friends to order from here as well. Beware Hidden Fees - Over $100 Extra for Import Fees
I ordered the Celine Triomphe Metal Oval sunglasses and was surprised to learn that I was required to pay an additional $106.34 USD in import fees before UPS would release my package.
At no point during checkout was it made clear that I would be responsible for these additional charges. Had this been disclosed upfront, it would have materially impacted my purchasing decision.
I understand that import duties can sometimes apply to international shipments. However, I believe customers should be clearly informed of any expected import fees before completing their purchase.
As a gesture of goodwill, I requested a partial refund of $106.34 USD (or an equivalent credit) to offset these unexpected costs and the company said "No, it's in our T&Cs". Really disappointing customer experience.

It's been almost a month since ordering No BRTYWBZZJ from 30.04.2026 Miu Miu MU 03WV glasses - Frame color: Black - Size: 53-19. SKU: MU 03WV 16K1O1. The store completely failed to deliver my item, The parcel didn't even leave France, this can be seen from the track, dragged out the process for weeks with endless excuses, and now they are illegally withholding my money. They are in direct violation of Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code. I still haven’t received my money back. Customer service is completely useless. I have already filed an official fraud complaint with the French Government authorities (DGCCRF / SignalConso) and the European Consumer Centre (ECC).Do not trust Celine Roland Opticien Lunetier. They are extremely unprofessional and behave like a scam. And the refund was made not on the same day, only after the scandal 4 days later, when I wrote a review here and in SignalConso. Liars.
