Used Celtic Legend to hire a car for a recent trip to Scotland. The process was easy and they provided great communication all he way. The convenience of shuttle pick up and drop off from/to Edinburgh airport was appreciated. Kind, friendly staff and the vehicle performed flawlessly. Highly recommended!!

We could not have been more pleased with our car rental from Celtic Legend. The staff at our pick up point in Edinburgh were fully engaged, helpful and explained everything from the fee structure to some "need to know" items about our Karoq, Skoda, including traffic tips for Canadian drivers (us).

The vehicle served us very well over the 22 day rental period, and on return the folks at the off-site location at Heathrow were just as helpful, including shuttle service to Airport. We will definitely use Celtic again.

Two trips to Scotland in 2025 - hired a car from Celtic Legend both times. They make the process super simple and you get clear confirmation. This trip, I picked up my car the day I arrived and a shuttle was waiting for me at the airport to take me to get the car. Super easy process. Kind, friendly staff. I recently rented a car from Celtic Legend Car Rental for a week-long trip to Scotland and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and transparent, and the customer service truly stood out.

I had originally booked a much smaller car, but they generously offered us a free upgrade to a Seat Arona, which made an enormous difference during our trip through the Highlands. The vehicle was modern, clean and extremely comfortable for long scenic drives. The rental process was smooth, clear and completely stress-free, with no hidden surprises. Having the second driver included and zero-excess insurance already arranged gave us great peace of mind throughout the journey.

The car performed flawlessly and made our road trip even more enjoyable, allowing us to explore Scotland with total confidence.

Great communication from start to finish and the usual outstanding customer service from Michelle, Pamela, Ryan and Taylor . Nothing is too much trouble for them in spite of my numerous changes to the booking.

Cars are well maintained and spotless. Unlike some rental companies there are no hidden extras - no mileage charges, or charge for extra driver. Prices are competitive.
Knowing this is a reliable company helped make the trip less stressful.
I travelled the length and breadth of my home country in utter luxury. BETTY BLUE- the wer BMW was a dream to drive. My only disappointment was having to hand her back
I must admit a few years ago I was hesitant to use a company I wasn't familiar with but those concerns were unfounded. They are partnered with Arnold Clark. I've been using this firm for around 7 years and only wish I'd hear if them before.
As I mentioned the FB I am a member of I also got 10% off which I spent on a meal in Eusebis Glasgow.
I have bo hesitation in recommending this firm.

I have rented the car for 5 days with full insurance. Everything went well.

We rented a car through Celtic Legends for a multi-week trip though England and Scotland and could not have been more pleased. Our original plan had been to rent one car in England, take the train to Scotland and pick up a second rental there. The wonderful folks at Celtic Legend suggested an alternative which was to pick up in London near Heathrow and drop off in Edinburgh with no one-way rental fee. This worked perfectly and allowed us to see sights we would have missed had we taken the train. Easy shuttle from the airport to the nearby office, Pickup staff in London were wonderful, friendly, lots of support to a couple of sleepy travelers and got us the car we requested which was a perfect ride for the 3-week trip. Drop off staff in Edinburgh were fast, efficient and we did the drop off, picked up an Uber and were on our way to the Royal Mile in no time at all.

We put over 1,000 miles on the car, driving around the Cotswold, Hardrian's wall, Skye, and the highlands and could not have had a better trip. The car was almost new wqith less than 500 miles (still had the new car smell!) Great mileage and easy to drive.

The folks at Celtic Legend helped make the trip a sucess. We are planning a longer trip for next year and will definitely be making our vehicle arrangements with Celtic Legend for the periods when we need a rental car.

From the first contact in which I was making an inquiry, all communication with Celtic was clear and first rate. We were coming from Edinburgh out to the airport location. Directions they gave were very clear and most helpful when dropping off. Whilst on our 5.5 week trip around Scotland, we tried to change our vehicle (which was fine but bigger than we needed) for a smaller one. We were in a smaller location but then. Although they had a smaller car it was not automatic which we wanted. Despite that the folks at the local shop and the main number were all very helpful. The car was clean, comfortable. I would definitely hire from Celtic again.

My husband and I recently rented a car for five days through Celtic Legend, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. The SUV we received was in immaculate condition, practically brand new with only 300 miles on the clock.

Upon arriving in Inverness, we were met by a shuttle bus just a short walk from the terminal, which took us to the Arnold Clark Rental showroom about 15 minutes away. The return process was just as smooth, we dropped off the car and were promptly shuttled back to the airport in plenty of time for our flight home.

All our communications with Celtic Legend before the trip were handled quickly, courteously, and professionally. Overall, the service was seamless from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Celtic Legend and will definitely use them again on our next visit to Scotland.

We enjoyed terrific service from Celtic Legend / Arnold Clark, from check in to return. Fast, friendly, and top notch. They explained every option in simple terms, including insurance. We got a great car with low mileage that was the perfect compact size for navigating Scotland's mostly narrow roads. The car gave my wife and I the freedom to explore the true beauty of Scotland - off the beaten path and into the magical rural wilderness where we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We had the peace of mind knowing that Celtic Legend / Arnold Clark had great customer service at the ready should we encounter any problems or breakdowns.

The car was brand new and fully equipped, something we can't say for other rental agencies usually found at the airport. Despite this high quality, they are still the cheapest! The included taxi service to and from the airport was very much appreciated and extremely convenient. Booked from Australia a couple of months before our trip. Seamless pickup from Arnold Clark at Manchester Ringway Trading Estate on a Sunday morning. Walked there from Premier Inn Heald Green. Very friendly staff members and we got a beautiful almost new Vauxhall Corsa. This car had a reversing camera which 2 others we’ve had on this trip didn’t (different providers). We drove up through Lake District to the highlands and ended in Stirling where we returned the car 2 weeks later, also within walking distance of a Premier Inn. Very handy for us. Had no problems at all and were very happy with the price. Definitely recommend Celtic Legend.
