We have place a couple of orders with Central Heat recently totalling maybe 3k or so, Crosswater gear. Found them online as price was simply far better than all the other online bathroom sites, but I was extra pleased to learn these guys were only down the road from us, not to mention nearly 30 year old business - so that filled me with a lot of confidence. Cherry on the cake is that they were really nice to deal with, delivery driver was the same guy who I had spoken to on the phone and was diligent in ticking all the items off and really friendly.

We've had quite a lot of problems buying from certain other suppliers who use really cheap and horrible service delivery companies, so our deliveries have been a breath of fresh air in comparison.

Also we made a couple of ordering mistakes and they were *really* flexible in their approach to helping us resolve them, I won't go into detail here but they went the extra mile. I will definitely use them again as we have a few more bathrooms to fit in the coming months.

I had an issue with a new water softener. They replaced it straight away. Thank you.

I have ordered many, many items through this company and have found extremely efficient service. If there is a problem with an item (as I have had many experiences when ordering online with other companies), Manraj from Centralheat has dealt with it quickly and flawlessly. I have already recommended Centralheat to many people as I know anyone who orders from this company can be secure in the knowledge that they can order with confidence as I have always experienced. Its always a pleasure to deal with them.

A few things wet wrong here unfortunately which suggested I was more than unlucky and this is more a reflection of the business processes and quality assurance.

Firstly the product I purchased from their site was no longer made or stocked. Ok, on its own totally fine. However, the product on the website continues to be featured and purchasable as of today (several weeks later) so clearly the site is not managed well (if at all)
Secondly, the tap that I bought to replace the non-stocked tap came with the wrong washer. I ended up having to make my own.
Finally, and the biggest problem, the moulding of the tap was faulty and leaked so I spent £200 on a plumber who then had to return at the costs of another £150.

The company provided a refund for the tap that was faulty and click clack although poor QA of the stocked products has left me out of pocket by £150.

I offered the company the chance to reimburse the additional fees incurred because of the poor product supplied. This was not forthcoming.

The website was easy to place an order on and updates on shipment regular. One item arrived damaged and it was very swiftly and cordially dealt with. May thanks, would definitely recommend

My Heatmiser thermostat was outdated and not supported by app . That was replaced by new upgraded version with WiFi, which has got more features and easy to operate , it was paired with app by the Engineer Kumar quickly, easy to operate … thanks to Kumar for helping in freezing cold …. Not every engineer experienced in smart thermostat…. I was given wrong thermostat by my plumber that was not pairing with app

I wouldn't normally write reviews, but my experience with Centralheat.co.uk deserves a shoutout. I recently purchased crosswater products from their website and while the selection and quality were fantastic, what truly impressed me was their after-sales support.

Ordered a wall niche for my new shower that is being built. ordered on 7th November. Didn’t receive, so chased it up and told it won’t be in stock till next year. They never thought to inform me of this. Asked to be refunded as i needed the money back to buy one elsewhere. 22 November, still no refund. 2 calls to chase refund, still no joy. Ridiculous Customer Care. Totally delayed me having bathroom completed before Xmas. AVOID USING THIS COMPANY.

We ordered a shower enclosure from them and it turned out that the brand (Crosswater) had a big delay on the one we ordered. CentralHeat got in touch with me proactively to tell me there was a long lead time; they suggested other options, and issued a refund for the cancelled order with no fuss when I didn't want any of the alternative they had in stock. I was a bit worried at one point because it took a week for the refund to come through, but it turned out that was an my credit card provider (Halifax) being slow because when it did come through, it showed the transaction date as the date CentralHeat had told me they sent the refund. Also, very friendly on the phone (including when I was probably being a bit stroppy because my refund hadn't appeared yet).

Price and delivery are similar to UK Bathroom, but customer service is far far worse or non existent!!! We bought from both websites for our renovation, below is my experience with Centralheat.

Bought a Crosswater MPRO Toilet Brush end of Apr with delivery beginning of May for £100. When we wanted a refund or exchange for similar product with different size in June (as our builder advised that the brush doesn't work with our toilet due to the position of the metal cap). The staff told me we can't return it after 14 days as it states in the invoice. When i checked the invoice, it wasn't there. He said in that case i needed to visit their website for terms and conditions and then said to me he needed to go for lunch and just ended the call.

Unless you never have problems with your purchases, it seems to me there's no customer retention at all.

Reply to Centralheat comment - I do have the original packaging, can attach a photo if required so Centralheat's claim doesn't work. Yes I want a refund if the good doesn't fit the purpose, who doesn't! How about you 14 days' policy and cutting off the call immediately after saying you need to go for lunch without letting the customer finish the conversation! All in all, Centralheat is a real time waster!

This company has been absolutely lovely to deal with, Manraj especially. He has helped us with our bathroom order - even when i changed my mind on the original set up we were going to have. He took everything in his stride and even went above and beyond to find what we'd need instead and a few other options i hadn't thought of, and loved. The returns process couldn't have been easier. There was a slight issue with one of the products received but again, it's not a problem for them and they're going to send a new one out for us. Delivery was super fast and the PRICE!? The prices are the best around and i would know as I've looked at lots of other websites and done comparisons. Would not hesitate to recommend this company!

This is fast becoming my favourite website - ordered a shower niche late on Wednesday and not only did it arrive today in perfect condition but also this website is cheaper than anywhere else I searched

Ordered taps midweek, arrived by Saturday. Arrived as expected, for the best price I could find after much searching online. I would definitely order again from the retailer.
