Both of my appointments here so far have been excellent. The dentist we saw was very professional, kind, and easy to talk to. I'm very pleased to have found this practice.

Good and bad
The receptionists were very polite, patient and helpful. My dentist was very informal, gave me advice, answered all my questions. This is my reason for 4 stars. My reasons for leaving 1 star out is because I did not feel my dentist was polite. He judged me (laughed with his co worker) when I asked him a question. Other questions I asked, his response was almost as if he was annoyed at me for "asking stupid questions" this made me feel uncomfortable. This response of his was obvious, it's not polite. Poor customer service.

No to implants here
I visited the practise for a consultation about having some implants replaced. Work which was done, and started to come loose after less than a year, which cost £3500 to do. The dentist seemed more concerned with the fact I had made a complaint to the general dental council, sympathising with my previous dentist, and that it was normal for implants to come loose, even though she said the work needed to repair could cost up to £10,000. I was shocked at her attitude. She said if she did do the work on me it would take a very long time and I would have to sign a disclaimer so i couldn't make a complaint about her, if her work was inadequate and failed. The general dental council agreed that the work I had had done was very poor. She didn't seem to think so, which probably says a lot about her standard of work. Added to all this I was charged £120 for the consultation, which was over a week ago, and still haven't received an email promised, which explained what treatment I would need. To add insult to injury she called me princess, a term ment to insult and embarrass. I haven't used the general dentists at the practise, but would definitely advise people not to consider having implants done here. Basically spent £120, for an x-ray, and to be insulted.

It’s pretty unprofessional. Made me feel like a number.
A little heads up and brief aftercare advice would of been good aswell
Receptionists are lovely though, organised and on the ball

I have just received treatment for a replacement crown, this was completed in two visits. Dentist Lucas Bockmann explained the steps throughout, with minimal discomfort and the crown is an excellent fit with near perfect colour match.
All staff polite and friendly, I would highly recommend the Sheffield Wadsley Bridge centre.

Tried to diagnose before even inspecting my tooth, when X-ray didn't show anything still went for the full hard sell of root canal and crown.
Went another dentist Surgery who took the time to conduct through investigation of the issue and solved the issue within 25 mins.

This was my second clean and polish…
This was my second clean and polish appointment. I wasn’t satisfied the first time around and in fact, needed an emergency dentist appointment during my holidays, just 3 weeks after the appointment at your clinic.
I requested a change of the dentist and this time around it was much better. I was however surprised and disappointed that no one contacted me to discuss my feedback after the last visit. There was no emails sent encouraging me to complete a feedback form, no phone call, nothing.

I am a nervous patient and would rather be anywhere than at the dentist. I would go as far as to say, I am/was frightened of going. I decided to try and find a dentist that would be more understanding of my fears, so gave the Harrogate Sainsburys, Centre for Dentistry a try and I'm so pleased I did. They are a very welcoming practice, friendly and helpful, and as for the dentist I now see, he's just fab, gentle, kind and very patient.... Thank you
